Had a Superbowl party on Sunday and wanted cheesesteaks since we are Eagles fans. I spoke to the manager in person a few days prior to the big day and Sam was honest and professional in explaining the cheesesteaks need to be picked up shortly prior to being consumed. Luckily, we could accommodate that, and the results were amazing! All our guests commented on how good the cheesesteaks tasted and how full they were. They even tossed in some bags of chips and gave us a discount because we had a good sized order. One of the best locations in Jacksonville and there are 5. The service is always great at this location. It's a bit tricky to get and out of which makes walk in easier than others as they aren't as full but the representatives treat everyone ad if they are their only customer and are great with catering to everyone's needs. read more

Stopped here for lunch today. I wore my mask in because I thought it was mandatory. Tall woman cutting meat with dark blue JM shirt on, looked at me and rolled her eyes. She had her mask pulled down and never put it on her face the entire time. She was very miserable and unfriendly. Other 2 girls next to her were great. Not sure what the attitude was for but someone should help her adjust it. Food was GREAT!!!! read more

Don't waste your time at this location. Go to the other one by Publix. This jersey mikes has very poor quality sandwiches. I went in today to get a sub. I asked for a veggie in which the gentleman did not wipe the meat cutter down in order to slice the cheese. After I asked for the green pepper which were diced so small and I got five on the whole sandwich. The lettuce is brown and the workers didn't seem to care when I was visibly upset. Would love to get my $13 back. I'm a loyalty member and come to jersey at least once every two weeks. This location is awful. read more

I absolutely love Jersey Mikes. We usually go to the one on Western Blvd by Publix. We happened to be closer to this one today so we gave it a try. Big mistake! First off the ladies working seemed to be all over the place. People with to-go orders were getting frustrated as well as the people in the line that started to form. While waiting we notice one girl kept pulling up her mask with her gloved hands. Then she would go back to putting her hands in the veggies and all over sandwiches. Once it was our order to dress, I noticed her gloves had holes and she had her finger nails out. Might I add that she had fake long nails, you know the kind that bacteria builds up under and they tell you not to get in health and food industries. So her dirty nails were being put into all the veggies container and on peoples orders. Gross right. Also I might add I wipes down the table since we have an infant and boy was that wipe dirty. I absolutely love Jersey Mikes my husband and I both are hard core fans and in fact have gone to them cross country practically every one conventiely placed near a freeway and we are loyalty members. Our avid fave of all time is in Foothill Ranch, CA (where we are from) however we recently moved to North Carolina and discovered this location and while the food tastes just as fantastic as every other one, we were incredibly disappointed with the bad service. There is a team member at this location who has "cocaine" nails or very long nails that single handed can point a druggie out from a mile away and he was just grossing me out with his long nails while making my food. That should be taken care of and he also was very slow so my husband repeatedly told him I wanted wheat bread and finally the third time he heard him say it. I could complain that the manager can't figure out how to make a sandwich if it's not exactly what's on the board....or I could complain that you feel like an idiot if you don't know what is included in "Mike's Way" but it think I'll just complain that the bacon on the sub I ordered felt like it was breaking my teeth as I ate it. They should change the name of the tuna sub to mayonnaise sub. I thought Subway was bad. I usually choose Jersey Mike's because their tuna subs have the least mayonnaise. The gentleman behind the counter explained that everyone else makes their incorrectly while "we make ours the right way." I went in here to grab a quick bite. I ordered a meatball sub and asked for an extra meatball for my one year old in a container. The woman that took the order told me I had to purchase an entire other sub. I have ordered single meatballs at other locations regularly. She continued to argue with me and when she finally agreed to just put one meatball in a container she started to bad mouth me to her coworker right in front of me. I worked here in high school. I had friends work in other food establishment and never return to eat there afterwards because they know what goes on in the kitchen. They have always had a high sanitation. Sam is a great manager. I'd eat here more often if it wasn't out of my way. They use premium deli meat. I'm pretty sure it's still boars head. All sliced right in front of you. The turkey is 99% fat free and not filled with yucky fillers. It's my go to sub. You also get more meat than the 3 tiny slices at subway. The toppings are customizable. Bread is baked fresh daily. They are also larger than subway 7" and 14" and a mini is 5". I prefer quality, that's just me. read more
