We drove from Stony Ridge Ohio to eat here to have us get turned back around within 3 minutes of getting to restaurant.. he caused a big old scene like he was Mr macho I bet he felt really good about himself... I'm glad we got it banned from there because I would never support a business ran like this..

Nobody came to seat us, so we sat down at the first table inside the door by the desk. We sat there for almost 7 minutes and then got up and left. Nobody came to our table. The only part that was busy was the bar area. Those people all kept getting served right away. There was only one booth that had any people sitting. They weren`t busy. We were there around 4:30. So I guess if you want to go to a place and get ignored when they are NOT busy, Mil Pouch is the place to go. We usually get good service when we go there. Not sure when we will ever go back there.

Upon arrival, the already small lobby was completely overcrowded, to the point where there was barely room to move. It honestly felt like a fire hazard with people constantly trying to squeeze in and out. The only update we received from the hostess, Victoria, was that they were "backed up," delivered with a noticeably rude and dismissive attitude. There was no organization, no guidance, and no effort to manage the situation or accommodate guests. To make matters worse, there was nowhere to wait except outside. When we asked if we would receive a text when our booth was ready, Victoria responded sarcastically, saying, "You think I can text all these numbers on this list? There's no way to do that." That level of unprofessionalism was completely unacceptable. After waiting 20 minutes past our reservation time with no clear communication or plan, we decided to leave. The lack of organization, poor communication, and rude service made for a very off-putting experience--especially on a holiday. Unfortunately, this experience has made us very hesitant to return.

While the restaurant is known for barbecue and pizza, most of us ordered sandwiches and salads. Our server seemed to be very new, but was polite and pleasant. She was on top of drink refills, which was good because Coke and Iced Tea were $3.00. Funny thing but someone in our party ordered a gin and tonic and that also was $3.00. Our food orders were slow to come out and our server couldn't keep track of who ordered what, which wasn't a big deal since we were a group of approximately ten. Not all orders came out at once, so some were eating and some were waiting. I ordered a veggie burger with cheese and a side of ranch. When the plate came out, there was no cheese or ranch dressing. Our server took my plate back to the kitchen and I also requested a slice of tomato. I found the veggie burger very bland but edible. The fries were plentiful but I only ate a couple. Nobody raved about the food but I didn't hear any complaints either. A lot of our group took home leftovers. When the checks came, we learned that 22% gratuity had been added to each check because we were a large table. I also learned that the cheese for my veggie burger had an upcharge of .99 for the cheese and.50 for the ranch dressing. We enjoyed our discussion and socializing in a nice ambiance. I kind of thought the nicer tables would have been saved for folks that made reservations. The waitress took forever to take our drink orders. It took forever to get the drinks. We ordered our meals when the drinks came so we could try to get ahead of the curve. The soup/salads came and before we could finish, the main courses started coming out. This really upsets me. Take forever to take our orders and then rush us out the door. Dinner rolls are available, but one has to ask for them. It's in very small print on the menu. Why the server can't ask if the diners would like bread is B.S. I know their method saves them money, but I think they could change their practice and still keep the lights on. The prime rib was tough and not very flavorful this time. The server didn't bus any of the salad or soup dishes, so the table was an overly crowded mess by the end. Seriously, to have to keep your side towards the middle of the table is just a P.I.T.A. Not sure how much potato fell off of my fork on its way to my face. The price for dinner this time was $107.00 for the same meal we had back in November. That does not include the tip. In the end, not worth it in any way.
