Subway not good! Kinda clean I guess. Staff was nice. Their sandwiches taste weird and not fresh at all.

This is about my 4th time coming to this WRAP CITY in Tilton and I have to tell you- The people…read moreworking there are soo incredible nice . This first time maybe over a year ago, the guy who is also a entertainer and piano player was the BEST- we laughed and he helped me figure out my order that took more over 20 minutes to narrow down. Today -when the guy who made my sandwich called my name to pick it up, he was so nice and said thank you so much I really hope you enjoy it and let me know if I needed anything - (again, it took over 20 minutes to decide) I just found out , the guys name is Nick because as he was walking passed my table, he just asked how everything came out - That's some really great service - Also everything I have ever ordered is so fresh and tasty with so many diffrent flavors. (I LOVE THAT) - so I'm not a big review person but just wanted the managers to know they have great staff and they are doing something right to keep good staff. (So please keep taking care of them) they make your business successful.) Thanks again - JJSMOM -

I can't speak to the dining room area because I ordered online and my bag was ready when I picked up from the shelf area. The woman at the pick up area greeted me warmly and hoped we enjoyed, quite pleasant. My sandwich was the chicken salad with sourdough bread and it was delish! Creamy mayo, excellent chicken, no chewy/fatty chicken and fresh tasting avocado. Easy to find on the main strip in Tilton with plenty of parking

Driving in I asked my husband I asked what Kettlehead is known for an he said: Beer. Yet somehow, I can't love Kettlehead. A few things occured that damaged the experience: 1. The waitress spilled a sampler all over my wristlet and cell phone. She was oblivious but she has been spilling it the whole walk to the table! She seamed put out i asked of they had bleach wipes as we were in from out of town and i didnt want mty cell phone smelling like beer all weekend. 2. The waitress stated the coin change machine is wonky and they don't own it. The coin machine worked fine but it was the first game we played, Tokyo Drift, that ate our money. I reported it and seamed like the guy didn't care. He didn't offer me a $1 to make up for it nor did he shut down the machine after my report. I feel like if you have it in your place, you should stand behind it. An issue, it should become yours. 3. The pretzels are terrible. They are like sliced and fried with no flavor. They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. My kid was not to happy when she ate mustard! But also, the worst beer cheese we have encountered as well. Her excuse, she has been up since 4am. Well, my husband wasn't wrong. He raved over their beer. Nobody was impressed with their food.

Steve and I had the Triple Agent which is a Triple New England IPA. This beer was enjoyable. Flavor highlights in this one are juicy, citrus and tropical. The beer has a creamy body and gives a soft feel upon your mouth when taking a sip. While this IPA was good it didn't necessarily a beer that got etched into my mind as time passed I still had no complaints with it.

Onions Pub & Restaurant turned out to be one of those places that makes you glad you trusted the reviews. Housed in the historic Tilton Inn, the restaurant has plenty of character before you even open the menu. We chose the pub side, which has a fun, relaxed atmosphere and felt like exactly the right place to kick off the evening. We started by sharing the French onion soup, and I'm glad we did. It was outstanding and easily one of the better versions I've had in quite some time. My partner ordered one of the entrée salads, which looked fresh, generous, and every bit as satisfying as my fish and chips. I paired the fish and chips with a Smithwick's Irish Red Ale. The fish was crisp, flaky, and satisfying--the kind of pub meal that's hard to improve on. The service added just as much to the experience as the food. Our waitress was also tending bar and happily shared the story behind both the historic inn and the restaurant's unusual name. As we learned, "Onion" is actually an affectionate nickname for Bermudians, a nod to the island's once-famous onion exports. Since the owner is half Bermudan, the name fits perfectly. She was one part bartender, one part server, and one part docent, and it made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Onions is a little quirky in all the right ways, with good food, welcoming people, and a setting that feels like it has stories to tell. If you're in the area--whether you're heading to a concert or just passing by on I-93--it's well worth the stop. Five stars.
