This place is everything I love in a brewery. Private parking, graffiti, brewery sticker display, cool merch, decent music, arcade games and food! Driving in I asked my husband I asked what Kettlehead is known for an he said: Beer. Yet somehow, I can't love Kettlehead. A few things occured that damaged the experience: 1. The waitress spilled a sampler all over my wristlet and cell phone. She was oblivious but she has been spilling it the whole walk to the table! She seamed put out i asked of they had bleach wipes as we were in from out of town and i didnt want mty cell phone smelling like beer all weekend. 2. The waitress stated the coin change machine is wonky and they don't own it. The coin machine worked fine but it was the first game we played, Tokyo Drift, that ate our money. I reported it and seamed like the guy didn't care. He didn't offer me a $1 to make up for it nor did he shut down the machine after my report. I feel like if you have it in your place, you should stand behind it. An issue, it should become yours. 3. The pretzels are terrible. They are like sliced and fried with no flavor. They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. My kid was not to happy when she ate mustard! But also, the worst beer cheese we have encountered as well. Her excuse, she has been up since 4am. Well, my husband wasn't wrong. Kettlehead was a brewery we got to try during one of our many beer experiences and adventures to the east. This brewery was pretty good. Steve and I had the Triple Agent which is a Triple New England IPA. This beer was enjoyable. Flavor highlights in this one are juicy, citrus and tropical. The beer has a creamy body and gives a soft feel upon your mouth when taking a sip. While this IPA was good it didn't necessarily a beer that got etched into my mind as time passed I still had no complaints with it. read more

Been here several times and each time it's a winner. This time we weren't coming from skiing but from a hike in an unseasonably warm day and we were hungry. The place was hopping busy and it seemed like a town Halloween party. Superb ambiance. We entered and sat immediately, with just as quick service. First were their home brews. the Moon Rover IPA shone above the rest, smooth, hoppy, tasty. My other half's selection was the Brew Witch Project Sour. That was also superb. Food wise we ordered the popcorn chicken with fries; yummy. Enough for three for appetizers or an entire meal for one or two. I then ate the fish tacos and these were HUUUUUGE. I ate two and had to leave one alone, I was stuffed. Service was really amazing. Our waitress exceeded all expectations. I've been buying Kettlehead beer here for years, but somehow never got around to going for a meal. I'll go back for sure. They appear to be IPA focused, and they do a great job. (That's a big part of the 5* for food.) The menu is a little limited for a restaurant but quite good for a brew pub, and they all have to cool names. (4 burgers, 5 chicken sandwiches, 8 pizzas, ... See the pics) We got the "Tommy Pickles cheat meal" pizza. They have a brick oven and do thin crust; ours was crispy with a slight char - really a great crust. In addition to the cheese, the pie is dominated by the Grillo's dill pickles. There's also prosciutto (could be a bit more), pickled red onions (could be a lot more), a bit of fresh dill, and a drizzle of spicy ranch. It was delicious, but I don't think I'd want to eat more than a couple slices at once - a good pie to share or take a couple slices home for breakfast like we did. (I love dill, but ...) The other plates we saw coming out (burgers, etc.) looked really good too. We also had the Sweet Corn Caesar salad. My comment on this is that the heat dominated the corn a little more than I'd like. Absolutely incredible place! My husband and I popped in here on Valentine's Day and were lucky enough to snag seats at the bar. There is a great selection of beer, the bartender was super friendly and welcoming and the food was great. Even the other patrons were friendly. I recently ordered beer cheese nachos with chicken - worse nachos I have ever experienced! Very small portions of chicken added to the nachos. When I finished the top layer, more than 50% of the nachos were left with no toppings at all. Pointed this out to the bartender, he offered extra portions in small plastic containers. The containers were no larger than a side of ketchup. One container contained cowboy candy and the other contained beer cheese. I was charged an extra $4.00 on top of the most terrible nachos I have ordered at any given restaurant. Save your money! The total cost was $24.00 for the worse nachos I have ever ordered in NH. read more

Kettlehead Brewing is a fun spot to visit for a great beer & the food is awesome, too. There's a bar & a few options for high tables, low tables for groups of 4 to 6 & an arcade-type area in the back end. TV's with the brew options act as a menu at the bar area. The walls are eclectic, with stickers & poster-like canvases. When I went into the bathroom, the mirror was plastered with stickers, including ones from other breweries or people advertising their businesses. My husband still says to this day that Kettlehead's buffalo wings are THE BEST he's had. It had been a couple of years since he had been (first time visit for me) & he says they still are the best. I think there were 8 large wings ($15.00) served with strips of carrots & celery. I had the chicken nuggets, which were spun with a sweet chili sauce. SUPER GOOD & the fries are excellent ($17.00). If you are into hazy, robust IPAs, the I Feel Like Amazing Bucks is for you (that's the one my husband had). If you like stouts or anything that has caramel, toffee or chocolate notes, I highly suggest Nosh. We ended up leaving with a 4-pack of cans of Nosh ($15.00). Based on the 2 beers we had, our meals & the 4-pack, the bill racked up quickly. If you pay wish cash, there is a small discount. It was worth the money, though. Our new plan is anytime we make a trip to the Tilton BJ's, we will then go to Kettlehead for lunch. Shoutout to our server, Nicole, who was so funny, attentive & overall friendly. We visited for the first time as a group of 5 on Sunday. The service was quick and nice, and the atmosphere was fun too. The arcade was a nice and fun touch, although one of the machines did take 4 quarters but didn't give us a game credit, so maybe that one needs a repair. The beer was great. I got a flight with Nosh, among other ones. I don't quite remember the other 3, but Nosh was great and my wife loved it too. For the food, do keep in mind that on Sundays, it's brunch menu, so no bbq stuff; breakfast food and burgers only. The wings were just regular wings, so nothing special. But the loaded pretzels were unexpectedly very unique and great tasting. I got the smash burger and it was great. A good, solid burger, nothing amazingly different but very solid. The fries, I think this is more of a personal preference, were a bit on the soggy side, but I like fries to be crispy, but they were great as well. Overall, a great experience. read more

We LOVE Kettlehead! My boyfriend and I have been taking many trips up to NH to go hiking during quarantine, and we find ourselves stopping at Kettlehead on the way back home time and time again. They have amazing beer (as expected), but they also offer unexpectedly incredible food! It is not often that a brewery has note-worthy food outside of your regular old soft pretzel, but Kettlehead really does it right. Favorites of ours are the mushroom burger, vegetarian grain bowl, and of course the pretzel bites. They are being very safe during COVID and always have such friendly service, too! The food was hit and miss - fish tacos with roasted corn were very good, jalapeño poppers were very large and whole so the filling was overwhelming to bite into, the nachos were typical midwestern fair that they put lettuce on. In Town for the bronco off roadeo and found this great place. We ordered too much food because we wanted to try it all. Everything was great but the crab Rangoon dip is so different and I definitely recommend it. We also had a pizza, nachos and chicken nuggets Husband enjoyed his beers- not a lot of dark brews but the oatmeal stout and other one recommended he enjoyed. Our most recent visit to Kettlehead was fantastic! We made our way over to the brewery after a full day skiing at Ragged. Our server was on top of everything and asked about allergies as we started to look over the menu. That was great because we did have a child in our party with an allergy. She assured us all items would be carefully attended to and she reviewed our choices with the chef. So thoughtful and professional! We all enjoyed our beers! So many great selections but my favorite remains Shuttlebus, the rye IPA. The pizza, tacos and pretzel bites and wings were a hit with the kids! We shared a Caesar salad and the house made chicken "nuggets" these are more like chunks of tenders! We shared a variety of sauces such as honey mustard, bbq and the beer cheese. Simply extraordinary beer and top end pub food including smoke, pulled chicken tacos with a white sauce that was simply some of the best tacos this taco fanatic has had in the past year. One of the best places I've eaten in the area - definitely the best beer in the area. If you like IPA's, this is your place. Table of 4 got all different things (Buffalo chicken sandwiches, pork tacos, smash burger), and all was amazing. GREAT onion rings as well. Have been back a second time, and had Hayden as a server. We have found another great Brewing Company. Kettlehead Brewing is on the smaller side, with some great decor, friendly and prompt staff, delicious beer and flavorful food. We stopped mid afternoon on a Wednesday during February vacation week. There were a few seats available. We started out with a round of beer and Pretzel Bites with mustard and cheese sauce. For beers my husband had Dinosaurs Swimming in the Sky(funny name) which he loved. I had a Coconut Key Lim Pie Swirl that has become my new favorite beer. For a late lunch my husband had a burger, my daughter had a Caesar salad and I had fish tacos. We all enjoyed our food. The fish tacos were made with Haddock and they tasted really fresh. The fun thing about this brewery is there is an arcade right off the restaurant, which was a huge hit with my daughter. We will absolutely be back. read more

Let me preface, the servers are amazing! If solely for them, this review would have been 5 stars. But the MAJOR issue is the supposed "manager" during the day today (Friday). We requested both as we were being sat as well as when we asked for the check to have the check broken per-table. We weren't asking anything that the entire rest of the restaurant would be provided as a standard. The "manager" both rudely and uncompromisingly refused us stating the multi-table group of the wedding party would be on one tab. We utilized every rationale and common-sense argument, but it was ill-received with no ability to even budge or find a middle ground. The beer was pretty good. Food was good. But the "managers" anti-customer attitude runs the risk of being caustic and toxic to the work environment and atmosphere of this establishment. Bottom line: IF you go to Kettlehead and IF you want the checks in any particular fashion (other than the brain-dead, all on one tab), get it in writing before you sit down. Even then, it may not mattered as we thought we had established this expectation as customers. But customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be of any interest to the supposed "manager". read more

Wonderful brewery with great beer, friendly staff and delicious food. I've been twice now, once for just beer and the other time for lunch. The beer is always fresh and they have rotating as well as staple brews. I'm an IPA fan but I know with their popularity, many people want to see more variety. My husband enjoyed their berliner weiss and they appear to have a variety of other sour beers along with stouts, pilsners, etc. Their menu had a good mix of salads, sandwiches, tacos, and so on. For a brewery, this spot has surprisingly delicious food! A local favorite, Kettlehead is known for their amazing beer, but I didn't get any. Instead, I opted for the summer sangria which was actually delicious, and I can be picky with sangria. I ordered fish tacos for my meal, and they were hearty and huge; I could only finish two. The venue is great. Great decor and spacious. The atmosphere is very family friendly but it still maintains the cool brewery ~vibe~ Service is fantastic. Our server was delightful, funny, knowledgeable, and organized. We shared pretzel bites which I could not stop eating. They had a perfect crunchy exterior followed by a great fluffy center. Perfect combination of the saltiness and buttery. The dipping sauces were great too. The star of the entire outing (to me) was the hog wings (braised pork shank). I've never had anything quite like this. Fall of the bone ! Crispy and tender meat ! Flavorful and perfectly sauced! One of the best BBQ items I ever ordered. Amongst the entrees ordered there was a brisket sandwich, chicken tenders, chicken-bacon-ranch pizza, smoked chicken Cesar wrap, and smoked beef stew. Portions were voluptuous and did not disappoint. Menu was expansive and we had a hard time picking out what we wanted. I am by no means knowledgeable of beer. However, the group I was with all enjoyed the wide range of selections and the quality of the beer. We were visiting New Hampshire the other week and decided to check this local brewery and restaurant out since it was close to our homeaway rental. Entering the place it has that chill vibe that it was a casual spot that the locals frequent since it was packed. The space has an industrial feel with various seating of low and hightop tables and bar seating. Eventually we were seated on at a hightop table. There are a good amount of beer and food options to choose from. Since the four of us didn't want to commit to one pint of beer and was curious to try a few different flavors of their draught pours, we opted to order two flights which run about $8 each that has for 4 6oz glasses per flight. My fiance and I decided to try the mokaya chocolate stout, local hooligan and the brown pow. The beers were just okay for us. I wasn't a fan of the local hooligan or brown pow. The mokaya had some subtle flavors, but I felt I had better craft beers elsewhere. On to the food...For appetizer my fiance and I shared the hog wings. They were quite tasty and tender as they easily fell of the bone. The sweet mustard glaze tasted delicious on the pork, but I felt the for the price there should have been 4 or 5 hog wings as oppose to just 3 for $12. I got the Kettlehead House burger for my entree, which was tasty. The burger had caramelized shredded onions with poblanos topped with a fancy sauce and gooey house bourbon cheese wedged between a brioche bun. The burger was juicy and the cheese was a more mild and messy cheese than Im used to. I think the flavors are good but can pop more with a sharper tasting cheese. I also had a slice of their mosaic pizza from my sister. I never had such an interesting combo on a pizza before the goat cheese goes well their the beet pesto and squash drizzle. The creaminess went well with the crust and spinach in every bite. I would go back just for that pizza. Overall our waitress was very nice to make sure we had everything we needed. I would consider visiting again if we are in the area for the food, but may skip on the beer. read more

We have been going to Kettlehead since they first opened and it's one of our favorite places. I'm not sure what's going on lately but today was our worst experience and have noticed a change with things lately. We arrived around 4 and there were not many people there. The food was so overcooked, it was barely edible. I'm not one to send food back so mustered through it. Hopefully it was just a bad day with the kitchen, but not a good impression for a first time visitor... hoping things get straightened out. We will be back again. read more
