Well where do I begin. First off I know that this subway location has been remodeled and not sure if it has new ownership. 3 years ago I went in to this Union location to order a couple foot longs, well the sandwich artist was sick. He had a really bad cold and I mean bad. He was coughing and sniffling and as he was making my sandwich his snot was dripping on the cutting board and into the food. He was Also rubbing his nose with his gloves. I bought the sandwiches and threw them out. I immediately contacted and complained to Subway corporate and they never did anything about it. I was disgusted so I never went back until now. What a huge difference. The renovation was nice, it was clean. The staff was friendly and the sub was good. The only complaint I would say is they touch dirty bpa reciepts for call in orders and then touch the prep table and make the sandwiches. If you didn't know, the ink on receipts carry bpa which is a known carcinogen. I guess things could be worse. read more

People hating on this place even though it's good I walked in there I saw some workers producing sandwiches in less than 1 minute and then boom I ordered my food it gets done in 2 minutes and usually takes around 5 minutes but not 2 minutes these workers were doing good stuff in there you could also smell the bread the ambience was so good and whenever I ordered my food there was no bad stuff in there it was good good and some actually good stuff whenever I get into my sandwich it crunched the Mayo drizzled the meat was soft the food was just good so my personal opinion 10 out of 10 read more

Poorly managed. The app won't work for this store. They don't honor the subway menu or promos. They won't accept coupons unless you substitute your food for cold cold combos or similar. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A SUBWAY DON'T BE A SUBWAY. Make it 'Brett's Sandwhich Shop' and find somewhere else to source your lettuce and business model.. The sandwhich artists were polite and nice and will just agree that the owner sucks so no fault to them. read more

i just learned that tipping on top of the $12 sandwich I just paid for still isn't enough to get your food made correctly. My sandwich was slopped together and toasted for 3 seconds. the shredded cheese was in fact still cold. these fast food places are out of control. read more

Customers are not important at this location. Stopped in to get 1 sandwich and was told I had to wait 20 minutes while they finish a catering order. Really. Another customer walked out after being dismissed. Very poor customer service. Never going back here again. read more

Living in California can be a hassle. So, I did what anyone would do and take a much earned vacation to Union, Missouri! My visit here was brief, so I wanted to make sure that I hit all the local spots. I was so happy to see that they had a subway near me. I had been craving a footlong and a sandwich for some time now. When I first walked into the store, it looked like nobody was working. However, it didn't take long for me to notice the short little blonde girl named Lucas smiling from ear to ear waiting to whip up the most delicious tuna and pickle sandwich ever. I'm pleased to inform that both my mouth and tummy were satisfied after that visit. I can't wait for my next visit to a subway in Missouri! read more

Everytime I go to subway, order through doordash or call, they never have meatballs. they claim that "they're out" but they just don't have any made and don't want to make them. I asked the girl when they would have meatballs back and she said whenever they make them tomorrow. Thats all my kid every eats and every time they never have meatballs and I think that's not fair and very unprofessional. subway in union mo you need to do a lot better because your losing consumers. read more

I ordered on line and paid on line. The employees told me I ordered from another store, then said I didn't pay, then said they never got my order. The employee with the straight brown hair and blue or brown eyes was extremely rude and kept arguing with me. He said- I just work here, not my fault, I could get a minimum pay job anywhere. That's when I told him to be quiet- a store full of customers. He said don't tell me to shut up and Said you need to get some manners. They finally found my order and started making it. Very disappointing online order that should have need quick. Their store is always out of ingredients also. Why don't other subways have that problem? Called to complain, I feel I should have at least gotten a discount. The person who answered said he was the GM and then proceeded to lie about everything that happened. OWNER AND EMPLOYEES MISTREAT CUSTOMERS-(Must Read Entire Review) On Friday, June 8, 2018, I went to Subway in Union to have lunch. We ordered two sandwiches. We ordered lettuce and onion on one sandwich, but the employee added handfuls of black olives. We politely informed her that we had ordered only lettuce and onion, and that we did not want any black olives. At this point, the employee decided to pick the olives off with her hands, instead of offering to remake the sandwich. When we were at the register to pay, we ordered two water cups with the sandwiches. At this time, the employee charged us for two sodas. When we informed her that we didn't want sodas, just waters, she still would not remove the cost of the sodas from our check. We weren't given napkins or a receipt, which we had to specifically ask for. Many other customers in the store were also voicing their concern about the service we were all receiving. Due to the terrible service and chaos the employees were causing, we decided to contact the owner to inform him of what was occurring at the restaurant. When the owner responded to my message, he blatantly accused me of lying and mistreating the employee. He claimed that he had watched security footage and spoke with his employees, and determined that we were given napkins and had ordered two drinks. He claimed that the employee had offered to remake the sandwich, but "the gentleman replied don't Fing worry about it" (See the screenshots of the emails in the photo section). In complete disbelief of the accusations and disrespect included in his response, I suggested that he actually watch the footage he had already claimed to have watched. I provided the owner multiple opportunities to correct the situation and save his business' reputation, but he made no effort to do so. I was disrespected, mistreated and accused of lying by the business owner. I will not be returning to any of his restaurants due to his lack of concern of the way his employees and himself treat their customers. He owns the Washington, Warrenton, and Union Subway locations; all of which I will be boycotting until the owner and his employees start treating their customers with respect. read more
