I haven't had subway in years! Someone told me they had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, and I was very skeptical. Took a road trip and wanted a quick bite to eat. Subway was the perfect place. You can get a vegan sandwich or a wrap with a mix of vegetables or a vegetable patty. The girl that was working was very friendly and helpful. She explained all the options to me and was very patient. The portions were a good size, reasonably priced and my sandwich was delicious. read more

I'm sorry. Don't yell at your customers if they choose to go to the restroom before ordering - particularly if they have a little kid in tow who clearly needs to use the toilet -- the fact that the bathroom has a key code is ridiculous. We had to explain the bathroom need and assure the unbelievably rude sandwich artist that we were going to buy something after using the restroom. We chose at that point to buy the absolute minimum (a drink and a cookie) instead of the three footlongs and meal deals we were intending. Treat your customers like that humans with biological needs that they are, please. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I am a regular at Subway's around the country as I travel a good amount and want a simple somewhat healthy meal.... Watkins Glen subway is the worst in the country. The woman working today at 12:45pm et on 4/13 should be fired today. I hate to say this... but... I asked for double meat on a roastbeef sub.. no in line.. the woman said "I can not give you double, we are low on roast beef and I have to save for on-line orders". We were in this Subway tonight, and we had a lot of different orders and needs. . The employee who waited on us was professional and really friendly. . She. completed every order perfectly (even though it was the first day one of the sandwiches was offered on the menu!). She kept asking if our sandwiches were prepared just as we wished and if there was anything else we needed! Two people in the store. Only one waiting on the long line of customers. The girl acted like I was bothering her to order my sandwich. Never making eye contact, maybe said two words to me. We were at this location on 9/26, my wife went in to use the restroom then buy a soft drink. There was an old woman with glasses who was a real witch, to her stating there were no public restrooms, my wife informed her she was going to buy something when she came out, but after this biatch was rude to her, she informed the woman not only we she not be a customer here but we would never visit a subway again. not sure why management has not done something with this person. read more

Really really weird energy from the staff, one lady came in from her smoke break, didn't wash her hands and started touching all the chips and was wearing slippers. The other working took about 20 minutes to make our subs and made weird comments about all of the food we ordered, really weird experience. read more

Subway worker was more concerned with telling me about the metal music he was blasting during my visit than making my wrap. Didn't use a clean knife on my wrap when cutting it so the sauce of the last person's sub was my first bite. Quality was just horrible, restaurant didn't seem clean. read more

We were in the area today and decided to stop in for a bite. While waiting in line a customer walked in and directly to the rest room. A short, older, dark-haired woman asked if the customer "belonged" to anyone in line and when she was told no she proceeded to whip her gloves off and run after the customer who went to the restroom. We could very clearly heard her ask the customer, "Did you read the sign?" We're unclear what the customer said but she repeated and basically screamed, "DID YOU...READ...THE SIGN?!" We were taken aback and apparently so was the gentleman as he said, "Well, I'm not a customer anymore and walked out." To which she replied, "I don't care" and walked back behind the line to help the next customer. We were so disgusted that we immediately stepped out of line, put our drinks back, and left. We ended up going to the pizza place on the corner of 4th street where we, along with every customer there, were treated with respect and dignity.
