The outside is so cute and the patio is nice; also has an accessibility ramp. The inside is also adorable. Lots of seating options. There is a table with stools that runs the length of one of the walls. We found seats there. Totally random, but I brought a cooler full of breastmilk to give to my sister, and you were able to tuck that under the table and one of the employees was kind enough to fill several gallon bags of ice to help us keep it cool. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. I got a Buddha bowl and my sister got a Caesar salad with chicken and we split an order of loaded potatoes. My bowl was really good, but I wouldn't order it again because the dressing was oddly pretty sweet. I guess would eat it again with a different dressing. My Sister salad was a good size and she absolutely loved it. The potatoes were pretty good. Would eat them again! There were so many delicious sounding things on the menu that it was hard to choose, so I look forward to going back for more. We also took a strawberry croissant home to our little sister. The parking lot is huge, so you'll have no issues finding parking. It was a super hot day, so we couldn't sit up there, but we checked out the rooftop patio. I would love to eat up there during the fall!

Good "down home" cooking. I was there with friends. One recommended the Walleye filets, as did the doing everything server! Sorry I only got a picture of my "to go" container that was about 1/2 of my total serving! They had lots of good looking pies to go... that I didn't try. Everything our table had was very good. Everything we saw being served looks great too! If you're in the area I have no hesitation about recommending here! PS: they have a small upcharge if paying with credit card. Also, if it's before 5 PM visit the Amish Market a couple of miles away (cash or check only).

Was a little nervous when I sat down and saw the rating was absolutely nerfed. But a closer read…read moreshowed it was mostly complaining about the new remodel, and slower service and I was not in a rush today. I haven't been to Fred's in this area in about 20 years and I don't remember what it used to be like. I agree, the atmosphere felt like a Pizza Hut Express and not somewhere you'd wanna linger for a couple hours. But hey, it's also about the food and the service, right? And the pizza was great as always, and the server was sweet and helpful. Maybe the next time I'm craving a roadtrip to Fred's I head over to the Waverly location which has a homier and more welcoming setting. But the food and service in Wheelersburg is still right.

While visiting from out of town for the holidays, we found our way back to Fred's to listen to Nick Carr serenade us with live music. Pulling into the parking lot I noticed the change. Inside the bar area remains unchanged but the new open space is modern and welcoming. My child was amazed by all the arcade games lining the walls. We were seated right away and ordered some old favorites; cheese fries and pepperoni pizza. The food was amazing. Just as good as I remembered if not better. Our server, Misty, made our experience even better by being so kind to our overly tired youngster. It was such a nice experience and stroll down memory lane. A local tradition that continues to reunite family and friends from near and far.

We were out exploring the area when we stumbled across this charming little bakery run by a group of Amish girls. The moment you walk through the door, your senses go into overdrive. The smell of freshly baked pies, cookies, breads, and pastries fills the air, and I swear I started drooling before I even reached the display case. As I quickly learned, "walking in here with self-control is like bringing a snowball to Florida." It simply doesn't exist! Mine certainly didn't. I ended up leaving with two peach fry pies, a loaf of cheddar jalapeño bread, and a glazed donut. My wife chose one of their giant fresh-baked pretzels with cream cheese. It was served warm and was absolutely delicious. Then I dug into the glazed donut, and wow--light, fluffy, and it practically melted in my mouth. This was our first visit, but there's no doubt we'll be back. In fact, I can easily see us becoming regulars. A quick heads-up: they accept cash or checks, but no credit cards, so plan accordingly. Country Crust also has a cute little café area where they serve pizzas and sandwiches. From what I saw, those sandwiches were absolutely ginormous. I didn't order one this time, but trust me, the brisket on a pretzel bun and the Reuben both have my name written all over them for a future visit. If you're anywhere near Bainbridge and have a sweet tooth--or just appreciate great homemade baked goods--do yourself a favor and make the drive. Your taste buds will thank you, even if your diet won't. "Worth every calorie and every mile driven."
