The last time I had come here I wanted to try this place; however, it was not a national chain like Wings and Rings or Buffalo Wild Wings and so I was kind of wary (I still had it at the back of my mind to try it at some point). This time around, I tried it yesterday and it was not bad. Their wings are basically different from others because it seems like they make sure the naked wing (which may defeat the purpose of it being called naked depending on how someone terms it) is extra crispy. Then they seem to take the wing and douse it in sauce (which I love). Cost: So I ended up getting two- 6 piece wings, one with the Wango sauce and one with Mahalo Que. It was a Monday and so 6 wings for $4.74. The cost, even with the discount, is still priced on average with other wing places. I feel so bad that the $0.50 wings may be a thing of the past (although, Papa Johns did have an offer a few months ago where this was the case). Rivals like Wingstop and Pizza Hut have wings for either $1.00 a wing (which is outrageous) and around $0.80+, respectively. Online ordering: What I did not like about the actual online ordering was that none of the flavors were scaled on spiciness (mild to hot or hot to mild), they were just listed in some order (at least from the ordering page I had seen). The Wango was pretty spicy, could have used a forewarning for that. Nevertheless, the wings were good. Chain as a whole: Continued ranting about the chain as a whole; they, like Wingstop, also charge for everything. Some wing places give dipping sauces for free (at least one) and they include celery and carrots or celery all for around $10 (Wings and Rings, I think Buffalo Wild Wings used to). I did see that there is actually a separate combo that one could get this addition. It will be extra though. If one wants a specific type of wing, they charge that per wing (drums and flats). Wings and Rings was the first wing place that I was shocked to find that one could choose either or and not be charged extra (I like drums more than I do flats). I cannot state that the wings from here were better than Wings and Rings, Wingstop, or even Papa Johns (which one could find insulting since Papa Johns to some may not even be a place that should specialize in wings, they are a pizza place). Customer service: Now addressing the customer service, it seemed like it has gotten better. Or maybe not? When I went in, it was around 4-5 p.m. and so people were probably still at work and so one table was being served when I was there for my pick up order. I did have one server ask if I would like a cup of water, that was a nice gesture. Then I had another ask if I was being assisted. That was nice. I guess if the place is not crowded, it would make a difference if a server blatantly missed serving someone. Haha. For people looking at reviews, this is how I grade: 3 star does not necessarily mean the place I reviewed is bad, it is just average. 4 star means that there was something different, maybe the price is what I would consider affordable or one could customize without extra fees. This place would have been given a four if the wings were like $0.50. Additionally, they would have been given a four if they allowed one to select a type of wing like drums or flats for free (it is so subjective to grade on this, however, I thought I would never see the day that this would have been a possibility, Wings and Rings definitely addressed this aspect). 5 star is rare. The wings would have to be something that I would have never had before and pretty much the chain would have had to have the items listed under 4 star. It kind of stinks though that when I came on here to review this place, that the business already had a 3 star rating and even with that rating, the reviews for that rating were not really good. read more

Stopped for lunch for the first time at 1:30pm on a Friday. It wasn't busy but my experience wasn't good. It took 20 minutes to get waited on. I ordered a burger with the hot ranch and Mac and cheese and a mountain dew no ice. The soda came with ice, and the Mac was not even warm. The burger didn't have the hot ranch on it. I asked for it and 20 minutes later I just said screw it and ate it without it. While the burger was good, I was not happy with the service that never came. I had 2 of their flavor wings (humming hot honey and hot Barbie). The names might be off but it's something like that. They were delicious. This is a nice local sports bar highlighting jerseys from the local schools. Nice environment and the service was excellent. If you are ever in this area stop by and enjoy the experience. read more

As a fan of wings I didn't expect anything fancy, and I didn't get it. I did expect some good solid wings cooked correctly and not soaked on grease. I got exactly that. These are solid wings. Blast them with the Tweener or Hot Barbie sauce and get set for great flavor and heat on top of a delicious wing. Compliment that with a cold beer and you have everything you need. Ordered takeout. First impression was that the portions were great. The curly fries were nice crisp on outside and tender on inside. I ordered chicken tenders, the tenders were nice and large, but they were a bit overcooked. The tips of the tenders were dry and hard. In town from Vancouver, Washington to visit my godson who's playing Football at Kentucky Christian University and we came here on Sunday to watch football. I'm glad we did the Wings were as good as advertised, crisp outside, moist inside and great size with lots of sauce choices (22). They have alot of options for all palates and full service bar which we sat in for enough time to watch early (Ravens) and late (Packers) nfl games with plenty of friendly banter with opposing tables. We came on the spur of the moment tonight for dinner. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. The food on the other hand was the problem. I've had better wings from the frozen food aisle in a bag. They were juicy on the inside but they were very hard on the outside and had minimal sauce. We had loaded French fries and the cheese appeared to be a glob of thick canned cheese and a few specs of bacon. The fries had obviously been cooked for a while because they were cold when they were served. The price was also extremely high for what we got. Went there for first time today with 2 of my granddaughters, between the 3 of us we had mozzarella sticks, chicken, bacon, swiss sandwich, all american diner sandwich, straight fries, boneless mild chicken, chicken quesadilia and 3 pops. The mozzarella sticks, french fries and chicken sandwich were delicious. The all american diner burger was good and would've been delicious had it not been for the bun...it almost tasted like it was wet. The rest was not good plus $3.00 for 1 glass of pop...total bill was almost $65.00 dollars. I was very disappointed and shocked by the prices. Well, being from Tampa (the home of Hooters, Beef O Brady's amongst other good wing joints) I may expect more from a wing place than most do. So please bear with me. The wait staff was friendly and nice, thankfully they don't depend on skimpy outfits to try to fake being a good eatery as some places do. (Not that the visual is a bad thing just a bit sexist when taking the fam) The wings were cooked well, the sauce on the other hand was lacking. I like hot sauces and theirs is a bit on the chalky side, flavor isn't that bad just can tell they use cheap spice rack seasoning to get the flavor and it never gets past being dried seasoning. The fries are ok, the tots were overdone and dry. The chicken tenders with honey mustard I am told was "decent"(my son's detailed review). The prices aren't too bad and the atmosphere was good for a sports pub. So in closing it is ok in a pinch and probably even better if you're drinking but would be ok to take the kids for lunch as I did. It's worth a shot in an area with no competition, no BWW is not even good enough to be considered competition when KFC wings beat them hands down. Well I started off eating here very often when they first opened. There wings are better quality than roosters or BW3's. The biggest problem is how inconsistent the sauce is. I love the Wango but it can very greatly in heat consistency from day to day. They have fairly good drink specials most days as well, but today was a different story. I got a tanker and it was filthy, I've noticed it before and not said anything, but I did let the manager know today. Let's hope she was serious when she said she would let her staff know. Next time I get the tanker I'll be keeping an eye out to see if they actually did clean them and I'll edit this review acordingly. read more

This is the worst place ever for wings. They taste like the anytizers that you get from the frozen section at Kroger. It looked as if they laid, what I guess, was to be boneless wings in a platter and drizzled sauce (very little, some of mine were even dry) over them. They were less than room temp.
