I just saw the several really low 1-star reviews, all based on customer service, so I'll emphasize…read morethat in my visit I found that they are helpful, even if they don't have old parts from 2009; 2 tvs in case you're waiting (btw, while they look stuff up or are helping someone else); Justin helped tons, also Wilson, Kenny and Danny- funny, personable & cool crew! Justin was very patient and really spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out a small part we needed, just an old rubber washer (a gasket, basically) from a toilet tank assembly from a discontinued line from 2009, and he looked online and in catalogues and the manufacturer's website, all of this for something that would cost $7 tops... he left no stone unturned to try to help me answer multiple questions for my boss (the wife) and find this obscure thing that would have made him, what, a 30 cent commission? I'm honestly happy I made the drive just because meeting these guys was fun.

this is my review and opinion of my experience with ferguson in boca raton, florida on 12/19/2020…read more pros: nice looking warehouse cons: terrible customer service - horrible overall experience! poorly managed, rude customer sales representative evidencing a complete and total lack of concern for customer service 1) salesman up sold me by failing to tell me i had the choice to buy shower system in a complete set rather than piece by piece costing twice as much so salesman could make more commission. 2) told me delivery would be on friday but failed to tell me part of the order would come later. i planned around this representation, thereby causing my plumber to have to stop job in the middle, unnecessarily prolonging and delaying the job and requiring plumber to have to come back days later to finish at an additional $150 cost to me. 3) called to discuss issues and missing item problem but no one would answer the phone on sat. during business hours (called 6 times in an hour with voice message saying to call back during business hours) causing me to have to drive 35 minutes each way to try to resolve a problem that could have been done in a phone call. when i got to showroom no manager or other person working on weekends so no one to address my issues with other than salesman who caused these issues in the first place. 4) salesman was confrontational and rude and appeared not to care about the inconvenience, time, trouble and expense he cost me. i will never do business with ferguson again! they have nice products, but imho they don't give a damn about me as the customer after spending substantial money with them. to me imho, they are just another greedy company caring only about their bottom line not their customers' interests!

I'm a licensed architect and have been specifying and ordering appliances for over 30 years. My…read moreexperience with House of Appliances has been the worst I've had in my entire career. I did everything possible to avoid issues -- I confirmed timelines with my salesperson, Drew, to avoid a price increase and followed up with a call. Despite that, my quote increased. After some back and forth, they did honor the original price -- but the problems didn't stop there. Drew failed to place the order, even though I had submitted it and paid in full. That delay caused major availability issues, forcing me to purchase a more expensive microwave just to stay on schedule. When I needed to change one appliance, it took weeks just to get an updated proposal. I shared my install deadline well in advance, because I had out-of-town carpenters coming specifically to install the appliance panels. House of Appliances never got back to me in time, and I missed the window. Now I have to pay extra to get the panels installed later. To make matters worse, the refrigerator drawers and wine refrigerator arrived damaged. I was told they could be repaired -- but I paid full price, and I will not accept repaired appliances. These units are required for my Certificate of Occupancy and panel installation, and I still have no resolution. I even contacted a manager and have yet to receive any help. This kind of service is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, when we explained the purpose of our visit, the salesperson, Drew Meltz, informed us that we could not purchase appliances in Florida and have them shipped to Vermont. Right. We asked if we could still browse their showroom. Drew immediately welcomed us and then proceeded to spend nearly an hour going over all the appliances we were looking for: ovens, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. All the while knowing there would be no eventual sale. Drew Meltz is the best appliance salesperson we have ever met, hands down. He is supremely knowledgeable about his products, patient, cordial and a real pleasure to work with. And their store, is superior to any of the many other stores we have been visiting. Five enthusiastic stars for Drew and the House of Appliances. Steve and Evelene Lakis
