Everyone, including the staff were very tentative and nice with everyone and explain, explained in detail the dishes that came out. It's definitely worth the experience. It is pricey, but it's perfect for those special occasions like a birthday or an anniversary. I would definitely recommend it to other people if they have a special day coming up. Street parking is the only viable option here.

This omakase is more focused on a fresh and raw seafood experience (as oppose to some modern day Kaiseki which is more heavy on the warm and cooked courses). Also, the portions are not overwhelming, but if desire, you can request for less rice in your nigiri (the servers will remind you of the option during mid course). There were so many fantastic courses but my personal favorites were the Tokishirazu (Hokkaido salmon with chive), Isaki (threeline grunt), akami (wild bluefin tuna), shira ika (Swordtip squid), and Sakura ebi. Each bite was fresh, silken, and umami rich that naturally enhanced the palate. The two desserts at the end also perfectly satiated the need for a sweet closing. The plum wine sorbet was a splendid finish. And the red bean filled mochi with Kyoto matcha was also an exceptional pairing. Wow! I'm not a fan of red bean but this was absolutely an unforgettable meal closer. Mori Nozomi is a fantastic tasting menu with a kickass finish. Loved everything about this experience. Chicken was fried perfectly, and was warm when it came out. The batter was not too thick or heavy. Season well with enough space.The lemon is a must for acidity and brightness.
