They appeared to be having a grand opening of sorts - which I managed to navigate around. Pulled in to the pumps with Apple Pay, refueled, and cleaned out the car of trash. Then went inside - ordered a breakfast Sammie to go: Sausage, egg, and cheese - with extra sausage and cheese - on a croissant, plus an order of mini hashbrowns. As with all Sheetz - you place your order at a digital kiosk - which spits out a receipt - that one then takes up to the register. Paid with Apple Pay. Food came up quickly - they call your order number out over a PA system to advise it is ready for pickup. First time I've seen that at a Sheetz! Food was hot and tasty! #Sheetz

Being a DIYer for our vehicles I popped the hood and immediately noticed the battery was out of place - the wing nut that secures the hold-down bar / J-hook was missing so the battery slid around freely. For those who know what I'm talking about, in order for this to happen the wing nut / washer has to be deliberately loosened with a socket wrench on to remove - it's not something that comes loose and pops off easily. Not pointing fingers, but I have concerns for sure. 1 - why does the battery hold down bar need to be tampered with? 2 - I torqued that bolt to OEM standards + installed the battery myself a few weeks before and then checked on it personally just to make sure things were good a few days before this safety inspection, so definitely didn't come off on its own. 3 - if this was an honest mistake, again, what are you doing tampering with the battery hold down bar for a safety inspection? Did you think it would disconnect before my wife drove off so you could score extra $$$ on maintenance repairs? While the service and price here are comparable to other gas stations in the area, this place certainly has lost my trust - I will be steering well clear of this place; don't want them under the hood for anything and have told everyone in my DIY crew about it.

It doesn't look like much on the outside (or frankly the inside either) but it has a small deli counter with pizza and a few other things that are surprisingly good tasting! Clean restroom. Opens very early and I think doesn't close until about 9 p.m. Frequented a LOT by workmen and construction types since you can easily pull a long rig into their parking lot (and there is diesel). This is a decent lot, more than enough pumps, drive thru if you don't feel like going inside. Quick tip, you can order things like cooler drinks and snacks from the shelves, even tobacco products in the drive thru. Easy in and out, but it felt like it took a while to get back to the highway.

So in comparison - this is a nice new facility - gas station, restrooms, ATM, convenience store, and more. I'm betting this location does a hell of a business on days/evenings that concerts are taking place at Nissan Pavilion - it's very close to that concert venue. Also, A man with several mops was blocking the way to the bathroom and told a coworker to "look out! Rookie driver!" I know this because the phone was on speaker, and the call was being forwarded. Look, I understand that people prefer the larger stall, but I shouldn't have to flash my ass at strangers cuz you've got calls to make. Have some consideration. After all that, we didn't buy anything cuz all we wanted to do was get away from this demented store and these late night people.
