I wouldn't give it any stars. This place is close to home, but I'd rather drive elsewhere for a cleaner laundromat. I've used them for years when needed. The wahers are not clean, and right when you walk in, you can smell the stench of mold. Washers leak, and you don't get much time for the dryer either. read more

Do not go here, I asked one of the worker if she has changes cause the machine only take quarters and she just said no, then I found out they have quarter change machine in the back, l don't know her name she had a blonde hair old lady, think highly of herself when she just works there, the dryer doesn't dry my clothes good. And bad service. Then I ran out of dryer sheets I asked her if she sells any, she said no, but then the other customer asked if she has some and then she was like yea I have extra. This USED to be my favorite laundry mat, when they had the old white lady working here. I believe her name was Stephanie. NOW, This place is absolutely DISGUSTING! That white lady used to maintain the cleanliness of the laundry mat. Now, It's so dirty. The young girls that work here are always on their phones, not very friendly, and NEVER clean the washers out. It SMELLS so bad, you'd be crazy to wash at this place. If they're wondering why it smells it's because they never clean any of the washers or dryers! There is washer grime all over them and IN THEM! I swear I live nearby for 6 years and always went to the laundry mat on March Lane -- 3 weeks ago I walked in since it was right across from In-Shape and I wanted to work out while waiting for the load to be done! Omg! Suds City By far one of the best places to go to clean your clothes. Great customer service by Stephanie who's super friendly. The machine requires coins but that's no biggie since Stephanie is there to make changes. Their washer are efficient to taking off strains. Their dryers are hot only require 50 to complete a big heavy blanket I had. So anyways, if you live in northern Stockton near I-5! I was disappointed for several reasons. The machines weren't cleaned out after customers used them. I used 3 dryers and had to remove paper, dryer sheets and left over stuff. After customers used the folding areas no one came around to clean/wipe down the surfaces. As I was folding my clothes I had to pick off hairs that definitely did not belong to me. I was honestly disgusted. Also, There was a family in the back eating chips and had their masks off 90% of the time. Lacking in overall cleanliness. read more

Just moved to Stockton and we are waiting on our washer and dryer to be delivered so we needed wash and fold. I didn't do a ton of research but $2 per pound seemed reasonable. Both of the women that served me were personable, kind, and quick! Got my laundry done in a couple hours! I requested "no scent" detergent and as promised, scent free! I will absolutely go back. Stavia and the crew over at Suds City are keeping it sanitary and very clean which is great in general but especially in these times! Gloves are given to customers and machines and laundry space are regularly cleaned. My washer broke at home and they are open during the COVID. I love this place. I drive a semi (drivers drop your trailers at the flyingj) and make a point to stop here and wash my clothing and bedding. Its always super clean, i adore the lady that works there, who is just the best and always helpful. The parking lot is a fair size, nail place next door, plus a bunch of eateries and a juice bar two doors down. The price of the front loaders is not overpriced at 3.50 for medium size. Large is 5.00. Coin machine available, and a drop off service if you dont want to do your own. I tend to hang out a little longer after im done because ive met so many nice people here. read more

I come here ALL THE TIME from Weston Ranch which is the other side of Stockton. Stephanie is the best & I'm sure everyone would agree. She takes customer service to a new level, she's so sincere and awesome ! I feel like I'm home when I come to this wash house. I never feel like I'm a stranger because the customer service is outstanding, you definitely won't find it elsewhere! The dryers are huge and it's more than enough dryers here ! My husband and I have been going to this laundromat every couple of weeks for a few years now. When we first started going the place had different owners and it was always a little dirty but the machines worked well (aside from the old dryers in the back). Now the place has been remodeled and they have several new very large washing machines. They are nice but they are a little bit pricey and they got rid of the mid-size larger machines so you are left with small machines or the large expensive ones which doesn't always work with what you have. The employees will of course direct you to the expensive new ones. Another problem that I have with the place is that several of the dryers that used to work well now don't and it never seems like they are interested in fixing them. My biggest problem came the last time we visited the laundromat. Apparently they are now serving smoothies and meal replacement shakes from a drink bar that has been built to the left of the front doors. Maybe it's just me but it seems a little unsanitary to be preparing drinks and smoothies right next to a washing machine with detergent and lint flying around. I was also a little disgusted when I saw a male employee wash his blender out in the back sink where people usually go to rinse their dirty clothes and soap containers. I understand that they want to supplement the revenue of the place but there was nothing wrong with selling drinks in CLOSED containers as the previous owners did. If they want to run a juice bar maybe they should go and do that and let someone else run the laundromat. read more

$2 top loaders, $3 side loaders, $8 larger size washer for comforters or really large loads, and $.25 for 7 minutes dryers. Idk what the usual going rate is, but I looked into pricing at the nearby ones. One place was $7 for wash and dry and another was $5 for wash I believe, so it's decent in comparison. The facility is overall okay. Kind of dark because only half the lights were on, but it wasn't busy. I was actually the only one there aside from the workers. read more

Arriving at our hotel too bleary eyed to make the laundry drop off in order to get it back before we pulled out of town the following day we thought we were out of luck with the laundry gods. Tonight was my fourth time at Suds City and once again, it was a great...even RELAXING...experience. I went on Sunday night right before their normal closing time of 8 pm. I asked if it was too late to do a big load and Stephanie welcomed me in and got me started right away. The customer service she provides is above and beyond any other laundry mat I've been to prior to Suds City. Stephanie has been there all 4 times I've been and since I frequent the other establishments in the same shopping plaza, I've seen her other times when not doing my laundry. She is always helping others out and I even saw her vacuum the side walk in front of the laundry mat doors once. Now that is some serious dedication to cleanliness and high standards!!! She is always so warm, friendly, and easy to talk as well. She stayed open for me an hour and a half longer than normal tonight which was SO APPRECIATED!!! For her customer service alone, I give this laundry mat 5 stars, and my loyal Customer service aside, the laundry mat is always clean and has a friendly, family like vibe to it. I never feel rushed, unsafe, or feel like my wet clothes will end up in a basket somewhere because someone else wanted the machine. The machines are awesome too. Very good at washing and drying and no time or money wasted having to redo loads because the clothes didn't clean the first time around due to faulty machines. You can get all kinds of laundry detergent and supplies there for a small fee, free coffee, good TV and very clean bathrooms. I felt safe each and every time going (even after dark) because Stephanie and the security guards are always on the ball. I wish I could give this establishment more than five stars! read more

My washing machine is broken and the clothes need to be washed! Based on a friend's recommendation, I took 3 big bags to Suds City for the Wash & Fluff service. I entered the store, was greeted by a friendly person behind the counter (the owner). She weighed my clothes--$1 a pound. When we picked them up the next day, the clothes were neatly folded--some on hangers. Just what I needed. I would go back for this service and/or to use the machines myself. The facility appeared clean. With free wi-fi, waiting for the clothes to finish might not be so dull. Plus, it's a few steps away from the wonderful Adelberto's Mexican restaurant, newly opened after a fire. (But that's another review for another day....) read more

This is one of the best laundromats in Stockton. The people who work here are top notch. Prices that they charge to use their equipment is reasonable. If you need to have someone washer clothes and fold it for you they are the ones you want to use. After trying another laundromat with a higher rating on Yelp, I found myself sorely disappointed. I was greeted the second I walked into Suds City by Stephanie, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She told me about the different machines, helped me decide which ones would work best for what I had and I was in and out in less than two hours. It was great to see so many regulars coming in and carrying on conversations both with Stephanie and among themselves. This place has a very neighborly feel to it. It was clean, cool and spacious. The machines are also quick and work very well. My clothes smelled so great coming out of the dryer. The prices are average and on par with what I expected. I will definitely be coming here again. My family an I have been taking our laundry to Suds City for almost a year now. Recently, the laundromat flooded causing them for be out of business for at least 3 weeks. However, when they reopened- despite me having to take my business elsewhere in the meantime- I was eager to come back. Not only are the washers and dryers good quality, but the staff is so kind, willing to help you out with whatever you need be it to watch your clothes while you run an errand or even share a bit of detergent if you don't have enough yourself. I had the best experience at Suds City. I had a brand new, king-size comforter that I wanted to launder before putting it to use. I knew it would ruin my standard size front-loader, so I brought it here. I was greeted right away by Stephanie, who is just exquisite. She helped me get my huge comforter into a washer and she even added the quarters for me with lighting speed - it would have taken me ages! I had intended on staying until it was finished but Stephanie said I could come back in 1.5 hours and she will have it dried and ready for me. To me, that is exceptional service. No one has the time to wait around for laundry to be finished and it is normally not a good idea to leave your things unattended but I knew from talking with Stephanie that this establishment cares about its customers and their property. She wrapped my comforter in a plastic bag so I could transport it in my car without it getting dirty. Wonderful! Who would've ever thought about going to a laundry mat??? definitely not me!! Until my dryer went out and needed a clean comfortable place to wash my clothes.. Well before I went here, I went to two other laundry mats.. one was just really gross and not clean and the other was extremely busy.. I found this place on yelp n decided to give it a try... I'm so happy I did.. when I walked in I pleasantly greeted by Stephanie she offered a full service wash and fold (a bit pricey) however, considering I had a time limit I was on I decided to give it a try.. I left specific instructions as to how I wanted my clothes washed and which I wanted hung up or folded.. (im very picky n have OCD).. I was beyond satisfied with her services... she went above and beyond my expectations and made sure my clothes were cleaned and hung/folded exactly how I wanted it.. Anyone who needs a laundry service done right or do it urself by a clean professional facility should give this place a try you wont be disappointed... read more
