The pool is clean and well maintained. Our other favorite part of Future Stars Suffolk is the giant indoor air-conditioned sports arena that the children play in every day! I never have to worry about my children over-heating outside in extreme summer temperatures or miss playing sports and being active b/c it's raining outside. The large size of the arena is phenomenal and Future Stars sections it off for the different sports and age groups. All of the counselors at Future Stars Suffolk have been fun, friendly and attentive. The director is excellent, very visible and hands on and the entire office staff is always kind, prompt and responsive to any questions I have. We highly recommend Future Stars Suffolk!!!

My son got hurt multiple times here and saw the EMT. No one ever notified me both times this happened. The final straw was him hitting the back of his head on the pavement and having a lump, he complained of a headache and thats when I found out they were playing sharks and minnows on the pavement! No super vision, counselors are on their phones most of the time, they barely check IDs at pickup. When I tried to withdraw him they decided he was no longer a fit. When Amy refused to give me a refund for the weeks we were not going to be coming any longer I asked to speak to the owner, after refusing to call him several times she finally decided to call him and said to me "you know what your a real pain." Apparently their policy states absolutely no refunds even when your child is in danger. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else!

I have opened a CPS case and am taking legal action for the lack of supervision at the school and the trauma and loss of my child's innocence due to these dirty boys. The school is disorganized, every time I picked up my daughter it was like a tornado had hit the room. Toys everywhere, food on the floor and spilled on the tables, the food was disgusting and there was absolutely no structure. My daughter came home with dirty band aides and bloody tissues in her bag one day (that was the day I was like we are done with this place). Disgusting. Now I can not reach anyone at their corporate headquarters and no one returns my calls regarding funds owed to me and what transpired with those boys and my daughter. Sad disgusting unbelievable. They should be shut down.

Learned how to write, read, build healthy relationship, become comfortable being away from home for an entire school day. she entered Kindergarten reading 1st grade level books and confident in making friends. My husband works full time and I have a disability that limits me greatly at times. LICC became the first extra care we needed to support our children's growth. It takes a bill. They are warm and loving people. My youngest began there as an infant, she is now entering preschool there. We are comfortable knowing that she is in their hands. Their grounds are safe and sanitary. They are very serious about the health of their students and faculty. My little one hates leaving for school. She would rather play with her dolls at home all day. She will cry up to the moment she reaches the school. Within minutes, they tell me (because yes, I call. And they never call me annoying...to my face ), she is happy and playing with her friend, learning and singing. Obviously, I can go on and on. They have helped my family in ways we can never repay.

There is a pond, fire pit and picnic tables throughout the area.it is a nature preserve park with many native plants along with some for sale. I suggest wearing a hat and sunscreen. While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

There are so many riding stables that are much closer to my home, but I prefer to ride here (it's one of long islands best kept secrets) because everyone is so nice and there's no attitude or drama (unlike other stables on the island). I always feel like I have the ring to myself which is hard to find on the weekends. This farm is not massive but that's one of the things I like about it. Michelle treats all the horses like her personal pets and takes such good care of them. All of the horses I've ridden were amazing. Beau is by far my favorite horse but Kellie and Kiowa are also great. My 9 year old son used to take lessons on Kiowa and Pistol Pete. Michelle was great with him. Even though he wasn't really into riding she was so patient. Now he just loves to hang out at the farm while I ride on Saturdays. I've watched Michelle teach many children's lessons and noticed she explains riding in a way that children understand. With me (an adult that returned to the ring after a 30 year hiatus) she's soft spoken and provides quality feedback. She's certainly not one of those trainers that yells at you. If you're looking for a laid back down to earth stables with quality horses and a great trainer then look no further. You'll find your home here.
