Miss Kim's is a food truck mainly seen in Chesapeake , rotating around the city with their delicious affordable meals. I can't complain. The flavors are there and I sure am glad that Chesapeake is a host of a non-chain place such as Miss Kim's because the authenticity is well tasted in each umami filled bite. Follow their FB page to see where they are !

The mozzarella one is all cheese inside with the jalapeño one is a hotdog inside. Both were insanely delicious but I had a slight preference for the cheese one. The batter is delicious and the sugar topping creates that perfect savory and sweet balance. We also got an order of the Chinese donuts which came with chocolate and strawberry dipping sauces. Lastly, we ordered the triple sauced chicken which came with rice. Everything was delicious but the corn dogs are for sure the standouts! You must try one! This is a family run business and you can tell they put a lot of work into their food. Go to Facebook or Instagram to find out where they'll be and try out their food. I'll be hunting them down for another mozzarella corn dog.

Absolutely terrible experience. This business failed to update their holiday hours online (Memorial…read moreDay), so I placed an order totaling $35.84 and drove out to pick it up only to find the doors locked and the place completely closed. With a note on the door apologizing for the inconvenience but they were closed. When I contacted them about a refund for food I never received, they refused to give my money back and refused to prepare the food I previously ordered and paid for. They handled the situation incredibly unprofessionally. To make matters worse, instead of trying to resolve the issue like a legitimate business, they wanted to argue and tell me deal with whoever I ordered it through. Customers should not have to pay for a business's failure to communicate accurate operating hours. The lack of accountability, customer service, and basic professionalism here is unbelievable. I will never return and would strongly recommend others think twice before ordering from this establishment.

I got the chicken Philly $11 and the crab cake shrimp fish plate $24. - The chicken Philly was decent and the bread was nice and soft. Also the fries were pretty decent as well. - The crab cake shrimp fish plate was solid and if I was ranking the seafood I'd say: crab cake first, then shrimp, and fish. Overall, this was a solid food experience with decent food and good portions but nothing crazy or really impressive to me.

This day I was fixated on food truck chasing so, I did and was very pleased. Four of my co-workers caught wind of my plans and followed suite. Not sure how location and placement are determined. This was a Thursday. Location was Lake Wright Drive tucked away in a GATED parking lot. I found out later all of my co-workers had difficulty finding food truck too but, still worth it! I ordered the Tripleta to go. It came with chips. I normally like VERY spicy food. This wasn't spicy but, I LOVVED IT! A lot of flavors and A LOT of TENDER meat! I'm thinking the tortillas had to be homemade as they were not like any tortilla I've ever had! THREE meats... Chicken, pork, and ham. The slaw was made perfect! Not too sweet nor too tangy. This dish was perfect! All of my co-workers were so happy with their dishes too! Two ordered the pernil & empanadas. Another ordered the Cubano. Now, I know I saw a pic of the Cubano w/ bread. This time it was served w/ a tortilla. My co-worker wished it was on bread too but, said it was still verrrrry good! Gotta stalk Sofrito more as there are other menu items I want to try! Kudos!!

I had 3 people in front of me in line and it didn't take long at all for me to reach the register and place my order. I wasn't that hungry but wanted to try the food out, so I got a Truth flounder taco for $4.95. The food was made quickly and tasted good! Bro's Fish Tacos has about six signature sauces which looked good, but unfortunately, they all have dairy in them, so I asked for the mayo based tartar sauce instead. While all the signature sauces have dairy in them, I appreciated that they stated that fact on their menu beside where their sauces were listed. I wish I had come about an hour later in the day because, after ordering, I learned that they have a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 each day where The Truth Taco is $3.50 and other dishes are cheaper as well. Some street fries were ordered for the table, and I had fished out about 5 fries without the sauce (because I figured there was a dairy sauce and cheese on top) and the fries were really tasty as well! The atmosphere inside is very fun and bright with huge glass garage door windows letting light in and colorful paintings of animals on the walls. If you have sensitivity to noise, know that they keep the music volume pretty low, but since the restaurant is right on the boulevard and has large glass windows, you're likely going to hear some noisy cars drive by. Overall, I had a good experience and would come here again, especially on a Tuesday, Sunday or after 3pm since that's when they have the best deals (which I appreciate)!

The cashier even brought my order to my car because I wasn't aware it was finished!! That was super nice. I got the fried fish bowl. I added cabbage, beans, sauce, and sour cream. The bowl was pretty good, it was just more toppings than meat. I guess next time I'll pay for extra meat. Other than that I enjoyed the food. The fries were good also. They're like battered fries and pretty tasty. They were hot and fresh!! They have fried fish, beef, tuna, shrimp, and other taco bowls. Or you can get it as a taco. Also fries, churro donuts, and more. Check them out!!
