I've been getting Brazilian waxes for years and recently had a bad experience at a Center that will remain unnamed. I was venting to a friend and she started raving about sugaring. After doing a quick Google search, I bumped into Sugar and Shears and ironically, it's located inside my hair salon, LARC. Sugaring is faster, less painful, and the results are SO much better. I highly suggest going to Kat. She is efficient and personable. She makes the whole process smooth (pun intended) - in and out in 15 minutes or less. I'm moving to Seattle in a few weeks and she was kind enough to send me salons and spas that use Alexandria Professional products in my future neighborhood - excellent customer service. read more

This may be an unfair review since I have never actually been to Sugar & Shears, but this review is solely based on trying to get an appointment here for OVER a year now! Back in April 2015, I won a silent auction for a microdermabrasion from Sugar Shears. (I believe I ended up paying more for it since the money went to a good cause.) A few times since April 2015, I have attempted to schedule an appointment which seems to be merely impossible. When I call - I can't seem to get through to anyone. When I try to schedule online - no one responds. I guess what I would like to know here - how does anyone schedule an appointment? Once this is figured out, I will edit my review on the actual service. read more

My friend and I drove almost 3 hours to see Kat. She could not be any more fantastic. She is so sweet & set us "sugaring virgins" at ease as soon as we got there. What could have been a really awkward experience turned out to be really fun & we have already been back again.
