My first visit I enjoyed one of their 2 Senior breakfasts. You actually get an extta egg and your coffee is included. You can also order a build your own skillet with 4 ingredients. Always nice when you can order biscuits and gravy for your side. Great tasting b&g and bacon. Need to remember to ask for welldone hashbrowns. I drove past this vacant place everyday for a year and then I saw that it was opening up as a cafe. I was very excited to check them out and it took me a while to get to them but I finally made it one Sunday afternoon. We were greeted and given a table quickly. The server came right away and brought us waters. I turned my cup over for coffee only to discover that it was dirty. Had been used, had used sugar packet wrappers stuck inside the cup. So I was brought another, only to discover after that my girl was dirty too. I ordered the chilaquiles with steak. On the menu it's listed under the scramblers and says it comes with your choice of hash browns or fruit and your choice of pancakes, toast, biscuits and gravy, French toast, crepes or potato pancakes. I found out after ordering that what I ordered did not come with a choice of any of that although the menu lists it. The server says " I know it says that but it doesn't come with your choice of any of that, confusing right?" Ok.... My daughter had the French toast kids breakfast. My meal was just ok. The steak was cooked well done and charred, not good when I like my steak medium. Service was just ok. The place for a Saturday afternoon was not busy but our server was no where to be found for a refill on my coffee. My first experience here was not a good one. Had our first breakfast here. It was clean, bright, and airy. We started with bloody marys which were tasty. I ordered a California omelet made with egg whites, hash browns, and crepes. Crepes were quite good with the right amount of sweet. Eggs were fluffy and filled with fresh ingredients. Hash browns were ok . My only complaint was the hash browns didn't seem quite warm enough. My companion had an eggs benedict with country gravy, hash browns, and pancakes. He enjoyed it all although the low light for him was the hash browns which he said were "missing something". We ended with coffee which was also good. Our server was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. I would recommend this restaurant and we will be back- we enjoyed our meal. read more

Comida Mexicana. Just had dinner here with my wife. You enter through the west end. Plenty of seating for small and larger groups. Full bar, Pepsi products. Clean establishment. For food I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Salsa Verde. You get three nice sized enchiladas made with corn Tortillas. Inside the enchiladas is chicken grilled onion, and chopped tomato. The enchiladas are topped with green sauce and a cheese blend. The dish is also served with rice (very traditions Mexican rice and NOT bland) and refried beans. You also get a small salad and sour cream. I enjoyed the enchiladas. I just feel the cheese blend on top should be broiled a bit more, a little more salsa verde, and enchiladas tucked a little tighter or tortilla fried before assembling enchilada. Just my 2 cents. I also tried the chicken and rice soup. Very good soup made with chicken, rice, celery, and carrots. Comes with bread rolls and crackers. My wife and I will return for breakfast. Tried the new place. Friday night dinner. They were very busy, the wait staff a bit overwhelmed but stayed friendly and did a good job.They needed a hostess to keep those waiting informed and organized because there is one main entrance but still two doors to enter by. They will get organized and be fine. The food we had was great. Breakfast Skillet and Biscuits and Gravy. Apple Gauda melt and fries, came with soup or salad for10 bucks. Wife had Tuna melt and Salad. Salad was very good homemade dressing. Soup great also. The sandwiches were good, the bread they were on was fresh and very good. We went there tonight to dine and it was our first time visiting. We had items from the dinner menu and kids' menu for our three children. They were very busy; however, we were quickly seated by the hostess. The service was excellent and the waitress very friendly and helpful with our questions on the menu. Our food came out very quickly and warm. We also drank Margarita's and milk shakes; all done extremely well! The food was outstanding and with good portions as well. This is our new "go to" restaurant in Sugar Grove. My wife and I have been there for breakfast several times. The service is always good and the food comes out fast, hot, tasty, and in portions large enough to take home for lunch. We tried lunch for the first time Sunday and the place was jammed! Never thought I'd see it as this is at least the 4th restaurant in that location in the past 12 years. We got in right away and the service was still good and the burger and sandwich really tasty. New Place, so gotta give credit to new staff in a new place. Im sure we have a-lot more to look forward to in the future. Pros: Very clean, friendly hostess, delicious food (all together we tried eggs,toast,hashbrowns,skillets,paninis). Cons: long wait to order, 20 minutes for us to order drinks and food at the same time (like I said,new place and it was busy,so i get it), but then the waitress wasnt friendly at all/borderline rude ( I worked at Big Rock Cafe, I understand how you cant take a ton of time with a customer when its busy, but she seemed really agitated with us from the get-go), when she forgot my drink I politely asked if she could bring it when she can, and we all ended up laughing about how offended she looked that I had asked her that. She seemed really annoyed when we asked her what sides were available (you have a lot more choices here than other cafes). Overall we are going to comeback, maybe when its been around for a few months and they get a hang of things, and if we get a new waitress it will all be good. read more

Toast was strange and spongey...almost like it sat out in a super humid place for a long period of time and then tossed it on a grill to warm up real quick.
