Came in on Memorial Day and was pleasantly surprised that we had just missed the breakfast rush. We were seated, attended to quite quickly & got our beverages very quickly. We ordered our food and within 15 minutes it was at our table. I had the chipotle chicken wrap, which was fantastic. I requested extra onions and they were spot on & the right amount. My husband had the chicken avocado melt and he thought it was really good & he joined the empty plate club for lunch. My daughter had a waffle that she scarfed down and her friend had a cheese omelette that was made to perfection and everybody enjoyed their food. The service was fantastic and it was nice to have the chef come out and ask is how our meal was, which is a rarity nowadays. I would definitely come back!

    Love the decor!

The Hinkley Cafe is a great spot for breakfast dates, be it family or friends! The coffee is hot and fresh, skillets are second to none and we are continuously please by the service and cleanliness of this diner. Of all of the places we have visited in search of our go-to spot for breakfast, Hinkley is hands-down the cafe to go. I absolutely love the decor, too. Save your searching and just come in. This is the first cafe that the owner has come out to check on us as well. Managers/Owners touching tables has become too few and far between, so we really appreciate seeing that level of care for the establishment/guests.

Open under new management. Outstanding small-town, straight-up, home-made cooking. Best Friday fish fry in the area.

The menu is simple and easy to navigate, which I actually appreciate -- no overwhelming options, just solid choices done well. The space is on the smaller side, but it still feels open and comfortable. It definitely seems like a great spot to work remotely or knock out some homework. The food was really good, and the coffee delivered too. I ordered my food to go, so I didn't get to fully soak in the ambiance, but the overall vibe was inviting. A heads up: the maple aioli has a little kick to it, but not overpowering. My picture do not do the food justice. I'd absolutely come back, especially to stay and enjoy it next time.

This is the second Krema Coffee location I have visited and was slightly disappointed. The North…read moreAurora location is located off of Randall Rd on the street level of an apartment building. It's a little bit tucked away but they did have plenty of parking. The inside had three areas of seating with tables & chairs and some lounge chairs. I asked the staff member what flavor lattes they offered as the menu was a bit confusing. I had previewed a menu online and didn't see half those flavors listed on the menu board nor by the register. I ended up ordering a 12oz hot honey lavender latte. The coffee beans itself tasted a bit burnt to me which altered the whole flavor of the drink. I also ordered the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Bagel as they serve Jake's Bagels here. The sandwich was good but could have used a sauce. I also didn't get much of the cheese flavor. My entire order was just over $16 which also felt a bit high for what I ordered. I think this location is cute but could make some improvements to better compete in the area.

The Knight and The Bible…read more On a drive up to Chicago to catch a vacation flight, we stopped at The Cup and The Scone to get us caffeinated for the rest of the drive. We got there about 30 minutes before close and the barista was super nice as we ordered our drinks. Emily got a caramel latte and I got the.. you guessed it... an iced americano. We also grabbed a blueberry-lemon, cranberry-orange, and birthday cake scone. While we stood there as the barista was making our drinks, we chatted her up a bit and we were able to get a few free stickers from her. She said they don't use them all too much and was happy to give us two each. Once we got our drinks, we took off to the upper part of the coffeehouse and promised we wouldn't be too long since they were closing soon. Before we headed upstairs, I took some photos with the suit of armor that is by the counter. When we got upstairs, I was surprised to see another suit of armor, so I took a photo with that one, too. The Cup and The Scone specializes in a lot of gluten-free products and a small bit of religion. I don't know if their entire menu is gluten-free but as someone who's mom is gluten sensitive (and I will probably be at some point), the care about GI issues is great. As for the religious stuff, if you don't see the occasion bible strewn about the place, you'd honestly never know. But, their website seems to support helping people and I think that also is super great as this world is getting rough and scary. Any who, Emily and I really enjoyed our drinks. The americano hit all the right notes and Emily was delighted with her latte. We were split on the scones. I really liked the birthday cake while she really liked the cranberry-orange while we both thought the blueberry-lemon was just alright. We held true to our promise and dipped out before 2pm and hit the road. If I find myself in Pontiac for some reason in the future, The Cup and The Scone will definitely be my spot to get some americanos.

I was initially drawn to this spot by the big knight in shining armor that I saw on Yelp (I'm a big…read morechess fan) and then pleasantly surprised at how cool this place is. The decor really makes this spot, with lots of fun themed signs throughout the restaurant. This definitely gives it a different and more fun vibe than the average coffee house and the upstairs loft is cozy to hangout in as well. The coffee flavors and preparation are quite good here -- flavorful, and made with high quality ingredients. I also enjoyed the mini scones, with a nice texture that was soft but a little more firm than a muffin. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're in Pontiac. Great vibe and delicious food.
