As a former home care provider, I had two of my clients move from their homes where they were struggling to maintain their independence, into assisted living at Loudonville ALR. Both of them flourished in the community, where I often visited. They enjoyed the activities, the staff, and they loved the food! I was so impressed, that I joined the Loudonville Assisted Living Residence family as an employee. My time here has only strengthened my opinion that this is a great community. I love my job! The staff were friendly and responsive with my entire family, and he was well taken care of. Several of the nurses and the activities director stood out as exceptional. She is now doing very well and aside from wanting her car () she has settled in quite well. This is a beautiful facility, the staff is wonderful, and there are plenty of activities to keep her engaged. A bonus is the Montessori school that is connected to the facility so the residents get to interact with the young children. There is a van to take her to medical appointments and residents can sign up for trips to do some shopping and even to go to the Racino in Saratoga! The pricing is very reasonable compared to other facilities we looked at, and is based upon the size of the room the resident selects. I thank the staff for the care they provide!

Everyone, I mean…read moreeveryone!, I am running across who I tell that we have chosen them, doctor, moving company, other assisted living marketing directors (2!), all highly recommend this place! You know when you take a tour of someplace with the marketing director and the staff are "polite" to that person? Like this is the first time they ever spoke to them? Well my tour of Reeds Landing was genuinely nice - like the staff friends! My mom will benefit from a GP doctor having an office and staff on-site. So far, so good. I will update my review after moving in and checking it out.
