Love this business idea, I have been here a couple of times and we enjoyed the kitties of course, but also their coffee drinks and treats are great! They have a full blown menu of drink which i was definitely not expecting from a kitty adoption place. They also offer some cookies that are chunky and awkward in looks, but so so yummy. You can tell how well taken care of the kitties are, and I love that they give them a space where they can get away from humans if they are tired of being pet. If I was a cat I'd be tired of people after a day of allowing pets too! For the price of going into to room with the cats, its not bad at all and goes towards helping make sure these kitties are taken care of, fed, etc.! Love this place. read more

This place was so great. My girlfriend comes here a lot and brought me in for an afternoon cat hang on a Thursday. Haven't hung out with an animal in a while but I nearly left with three. All the cats are healthy aside from a little eye irritation on one and some allergies on another. These cats are well-socialized little babies, please come see them. Wonderful opportunity to get your kitten fix and the store offers many cute items for the cat lover in your life. The available drinks aren't common but were interesting. I tried the Cheerful Cherry soda and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Rated them low because almost all of the cats were sick. They have an upper respiratory infection that the owners are not addressing. Their attitude was "all kittens get it." Some of the kittens were sicker than others and I held one that clearly needed immediate attention from a veterinarian. Don't go if you have your own cats at home unless you're prepared to strip down the minute you walk in your house and disinfect yourself before any contact with your own house cats. read more

They were amazing to work with, answered all of my emails and questions and her little party with her friends was amazing! I've given this place a few chances and it's always the same. The female owner is just not friendly. The male is though! I've seen them get onto kids for the lamest reasons. If it involves safety, I totally understand, but they got onto kids for laughing. God forbid the kids have a good time. Their daughter sat in the room once and just went off on the children in the room. The cats and kittens were all very cute and the experience with them was great! The staff were not very helpful and seemed very annoyed with us when we asked questions. My (adult) daughter wanted to adopt one of the kittens at the end and the lady behind the counter did not even give her a chance to apply. She said that kittens had to be adopted together so they had a playmate and didn't want to answer anymore of our questions. read more

When walking into the business two of the employees were extremely unprofessional. When checking in to spent time with the kittens. The women at the front counter had a bad attitude and took us into the room got mad that a cat got out when the door opened. She proceeded to close the door without a single word. Another employee came in and yelled at a 5 year old autistic child when he was playing with the cat toys. Never once addressing the parents. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Maybe the owner is a better person but the choices of employment bring a bad perception on the business. read more

December 26th of 2022 my boyfriend and I went in looking to adopt, seeing as I have been here before and had a good experience I was astonished at the behavior of the family that worked here when we found a kitten we both loved. We went up to the stand and told them which kitten we wanted to adopt, they made a huge deal out of me not getting another cat cause she was 4 months old. In response I asked why she didn't have a bonded pair and the lady looked at me like I was crazy then proceeded to say "cause she's scared and alone in a cage". Which is all the more reason to try and bond her with another cat. After my boyfriend finished filling out the application the lady proceeded to add on top of her attitude by saying "I can guarantee she will not do well on her own." She was right in one aspect upon a couple days of having her she started having bald spots, sneezing, and mucus coming out of her eyes.My boyfriend and I went to the vet and it came out to be ringworm and upper respiratory infection. The vet said to me that with how early she was showing signs when we first got her that she definitely had the infection when we adopted her. First visit was $212 and we have to have more tests ran and more check ups to make sure she will be okay. She's adjusted nicely and loves where she is she's so cuddly and simply the sweetest soul. This poor 4 month old kitty has gone through so much in the past 3 weeks due to lack of communication from this place. If there was a cat that was infected and she was around them why would they not tell us. We are super lucky she has a strain that we can't get but will not be going here again and I would suggest you don't either if you don't want to dish out hundreds of dollars on vet bills in the first few weeks, or get a sickness from one of the kitties. Website site says walk-ins welcome. Drove from grandview to liberty to adopt a kitten only to have the staff act extremely stand offish and snub because we didn't make an appointment. Willing to wait the hour+ they told us we had to, only to have the "gentleman" behind the counter start arguing with my wife because we have other pets. Horrible service, worse attitude. Go to a different adoption location if you want to add to your family, because these people will ruin the experience for you. read more

As if it wasn't enough to be treated extremely poorly while in store, I chose to still bring a cat home due to my animal loving heart. Immediately, she was wheezing, could barely breathe, and was even sneezing blood, I quickly messaged the Cafe since they told me to let them know if I had troubles. They told me it's "normal" for kittens to get sick after going to a new home and gave me antibiotics. Fast forward a week, the antibiotics hadn't done a bit of good and were a complete waste of time. I took her in to my vet and they gave her a Convenia shot which cleared up her Upper Respiratory Infection almost immediately. They also recommended I use an antifungal shampoo on her foot since they weren't sure what it was yet. She ended up passing it to my two other cats, which is when we realized they had given us a cat with not only URI but ringworm as well. These people have no sort of quarantine system, except for about 4 cages that are still sitting among other cats. Not only is the service terrible here, but they're harming public health and other customers' animals. I've talked to many individuals that also are having the same issue with a kitten from them, but everyone is too scared to say anything. This place needs to be shut down if you ask me, the only thing I've gotten out of it is an adorable kitten that'd I've paid an extra 300$ to fix, and a refund only for her. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE, RINGWORM IS CONTAGIOUS read more
