I absolutely love this store. The employees are SUPER helpful and when one doesn't have the answer to my questions, they know who can help, and I always get answers. Prices are fair. Their selection of ball pythons is fantastic. I have now bought 5 from them. All in great health and docile, or nearly completely docile depending on age. My kids love checking out all the animals. I shop here for so much of my animal needs: birds, cats, bunny, ball pythons, and fish! I appreciate the workers that know me and my husband, and put up with me wanting to see and ask about the new ball pythons available for adoption, even if I don't end up buying! I bought a sulcata tortoise from here for my daughter. It's all she wanted for Christmas. She was very happy Christmas morning!! This pet store has many fury friends as well as many different types of reptiles and fish. The store was clean and items fairly easy to find. The reason for three stars instead of 4 is because I felt the sales staff wasn't very knowledgeable about the tortoise. It would've been nice to have some information about the little guy. Like a birth month. How he was bred and where? All in all this store is one of the better pet stores around. I will definitely return to this place over the big brand stores. This locally owned pet store in the northland has saved me tons of time and money steering me in the right direction. With two kids, and an appetite for pets we have spent a fair share of time and money, from snakes, lizards, geckos, fish and more, MOE, has given us the direction to enjoy the pets. I go here for aquatic turtle treats, heat lamp bulbs and other small accessories for our painted turtle. I usually go a few times a year for these supplies. Staff is usually attentive and helpful if I need it. Once, our turtle had a horrible eye issue and I came here for advice. I ended up purchasing a few additional tank items and some turtle eye drops that were recommended. Thankfully, the eye issue was solved after a lot of google searching and some careful TLC. read more

Hey! Don't poke the snakes OK? The snake den was a bit much for me but I did get to see a giant python yawn, or maybe he was trying to get a taste for us. ew. I had to flee. There was a group of people in that room literally poking at the snake's glass. Have we learned nothing from movies, tv shows, uhm, poking things with sticks in general? Other than that, this pet store is pretty neat. I loved walking in and being welcomed by the bunnies! Soooo cute, if I thought for a moment that my cats wouldn't torture it or it wouldn't pee on everything I own, It would've come home with me. Then next, they roll out the Chinchilla! Ah! I want to squeeze your face! Luring you finally to the hamsters and then the birds, you have to wonder if this order is in case those snakes get loose. Oh and everything is available for holding as long as you do it above the habitat. They have a pretty impressive aquarium section with immaculate tanks. The husb and I spent quite a bit of time in here as we have been hoping for some relaxing fish to come into our lives for some time. They have the selection for sure. The employees were super friendly and like most exotic pet stores it can get a bit pricey. OH, and the big scary snakes are not for sale. read more

This is a great pet store, especially if you are looking for pets or fish. They take wonderful care of all of their animals and offer an assortment of birds, small animals, reptiles and fish (marine and tropical). They have and astonishing selection of snakes. There is even an anaconda (not for sale, of course) and several huge pythons. I haven't asked, but it seems like they breed many of their snakes in-house. If I need a snake, I'm gonna go here. In addition to the lovely reptiles, their fish are also quite nice. They offer everything from small tetras to knife fish to cichlids of all sizes. The marine (salt) selection is quite a bit smaller but they have some really beautiful specimens they are vivid and healthy. If you are specifically looking for large adult fish, this would be a great place to look. read more

Clean store, healthy pets - lots of selection. But it's the staff that is the greatest - very knowledgeable and really care about animals. My son wanted a certain type of fish that they didn't have so they ordered it for him! I love playing with the furry critters while my sons spend their time (and money) with the reptiles and fish. They love our animals as much as we do. Clean well cared for animals. Unlike big chain stores they do actually care about all the animals. We have gotten fish multiple reptiles hamsters and a 2 rabbits. They animals are handled so not mean from no contact. Can't say enough nice things about Amy and her team. read more

Their new store looks really really cool, and they have tons of animals. I seriously loved this store.... That is, until I heard the absolute horror stories of how they treat animals and especially EMPLOYEES there. YIKES!!! My heart goes out to the people who work there, and their poor breeder snakes in the back... Also I seriously heard they bludgeon their feeder rodents to death and allow hamsters to kill each other in the back as they keep buying more... I get their just rodents but they have feelings actually. Maybe you guys should learn how to treat others and your animals would be healthier and good employees would stay around? Just sayin'. It's amazing what people can get away with in a small business... I'd rather not spend money here, I'll just come look at the animals.... even though they always look so so overcrowded. read more

Small store has what you need. I don't have exotic animals, but I do have I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Miles of Exotics is the place to go for quality food and supplies for my pets. I buy the Nutro brand of pet food, and this store carries a wide variety. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They won't let you wander around looking confused and lost. The store is small enough to find what you need, get in, get out. The location on Barry Rd, across from Metro North Mall is convenient Sure, things cost a little more than the 'big box' pet stores, but I would rather shop a locally owned small business any day. read more

We are from OK stumbled across this store and we just love it! We took home several hundred dollars worth of fresh water fish. They packaged them up so nice for us and everyone of them made it home and are still alive. This was in May, Well we are back now and it 2 months later for more fish and maybe a tank or some lights. Just not sure untill it opens in the morning. None of our fish died just ready for more, its a 5 hr drive for us but so worth it and the employees were just great... read more

This place has tons of stuff to look at and some really neat large specimens which is great because you can look around for the hour and half before you get any form of help. Every time I've gone in I've had to hound the workers to get help and then I still have to wait while the workers chat. This is a great store! Great customer service even when busy. Employee took time to explain to my son and I about a snake that we are interested in. He was able to hold the snake for about 20 minutes while she answered any questions we had. She was very patient even when other customers crowded around asking about different things. Definitely appreciated the outstanding customer service. We would definitely come back here for any purchases in the future. They have a huge selection of pet supply's and a wide range of fish. They also have some store pets not for sale that are pretty unique. We spent quite a while here looking at all the different small birds, rabbits, fish, tarantulas and reptiles. I used to have good experiences at this store, and I thought it would improve since they moved to such a nice location, but lately I've been having consistently bad experience with the new employees. I don't mind handling crickets but stop at bugs when I pay there higher price for the crickets in the first place getting other critters in with them (even though they didn't charge me for them) is crazy...... My boyfriend and I had heard about Miles of Exotics so we decided to check it out! First thing I want to say, WOW! This place is so clean and tidy. We have 3 snakes and a lot of pet stores don't take care of their reptiles. But, Miles of Exotics reptiles were very healthy and well taken care of. We really enjoyed looking at their 3 Burmese pythons & their anaconda! We went in to purchase some new supplies for our snakes and everything is so reasonably priced! This is the best pet store I have ever been to. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable.

I enjoy shopping at this store for things for my cat and gecko. This is where we buy crickets for the gecko and they are never weak and they live for quite a while. I would definitely suggest buying items and bugs here. However, the prices for the animals are a little pricy. Here you can get a leopard spotted gecko for almost $60 whereas at petsmart they have them for $30. I chose to buy mine at petsmart and she is still alive and well. read more

About 3 weeks ago, my family and I went to check out this store. It looked promising, with hedgehog food and snacks available. We noticed that they had a sign that stated they do small animal nail trims and boarding. We asked about it, told them we had a hedgie, and they said it was fine. Fast forward to today, when I take my hedgie in for a $10 nail trim. I was told by two people that they don't do that. This place has now lost our business on hedgie food, snacks, nail trims, and boarding. I didn't even ask today if they still would board him, as I was not happy.
