Vic's definitely has a unique smell and flavor to their freshly popped popcorn. It's similar to what you can achieve on the stove, but it has this special quality to it that's hard to describe. I like to go and get a fresh bag of plain white popcorn that has just been popped. Sometimes the bags on the shelves can be a few days old, so I always ask for the fresh. They do have lots of other flavors of popcorn, but I do like the plain white best myself. Although I will say it is pretty salty. Not so salty that it's unpleasant, but they do have a half salt version that's nice. Around the holidays, and I think throughout the rest of the year as well, they have various sizes of decorative tins that you can get filled with popcorn. Any gift type options aren't super cheap as others have said.

When we first walked in we asked about any deals with the bags cause we would purchase more and were told "we keep the prices as low as we can because we use real name brand candies and cookies" which was a weird response but also irrelevant to the question. And besides that some of it is just food coloring as seen in the pics. My biggest complaint is the fact that they don't label the bags??? This doesn't make any sense to me, write it in sharpie if you don't want to print the personalized bags but honestly thank goodness I am not gifting to people with food allergies because you can play a dangerous game without having labels and ingredients. The popcorn itself is great and maybe just chalk it up to newer management so I don't want to discredit too much, but it's a nice local and creative gift to give especially around holidays! Lots of other shops within the shop (similar to an antique mall) with records and other pop culture items for sale. My favorite part of the shop were the pinball machine rooms. Antique and modern pinball machines were packed into two rooms and each play was super affordable! It is worth mentioning that some of the antique ones were there as display only, but cool to see nonetheless. I spent most of my time here playing a few games and could have definitely spent more time here if I had the opportunity during my short time in downtown. So glad I got to check out this local gem and would recommend it to anyone in looking to grab a sweet treat or play some games!
