This was a really fun store tucked away in Papillions shopping area. Loved the local art, which you can buy. Also really liked the variety of chocolates. They definitely take pride in their product. Although a chocolaterie my fiancé and I tend to return and return for the gelatos! Tried well over 10 different gelato and sorbets over a couple years and have loved every single one and neither of us are much of dessert people which says a lot. We have had their chocolate a few times, personally I don't like chocolate (I know, weird) and definitely like their filled chocolates but not my first pick for sweets... my fiancé on the other hand could demolish multiple in a minute if it wasn't an unhealthy idea haha. What a hidden gem in Shadow Lake. We were doing some shopping after dinner and I wanted something sweet. This place came up when I searched desserts and truthfully I had no idea it was there. The shop is so cute and they have so many goodies to choose from. We ultimately got "just" gelato and plan to go back to try some of the chocolates another time. I got a medium gelato of half turtle cheesecake and half red velvet cake batter. My husband got a small pistachio gelato. This stuff was SOOO good. Wow- this is one of my new favorite spots! Adorable gift boxes and various arrangements that would be loved by almost anyone. Delicious chocolate! You can fill a box with bon bons or you can pick out various chocolates and pay by weight- they have some great finds like chocolate lemon rind and chocolate ginger (can't go wrong with plain dark chocolate medallions either)! It has been a few years since we have been here, but we decided to stop by since we were in Papillion for some holiday gifts. Stam's is a regional chocolate shop franchise that also sells other treats like stroopwaffles and gelato. Their chocolates, supposedly, are in the Dutch tradition. I do not know enough about chocolate cultures to know how that differentiates from other styles, but I will say there has never been a chocolate piece that we haven't liked. Their chocolates seem to be extra creamy and rich. While small for the price, I think the value is great because you get a great piece of chocolate. In addition to the fantastic candies, you are treated by a very attractive store and friendly service. Buried in Shadow Lake's center pavilion area, this is a diamond in the rough. It is a great shop to visit when you want to give the gift of chocolate. read more

As a milspouse, I loved that they had chocolates bearing the Air Force logo! They also have owl and acorn chocolates for the fall, and so many different flavors! I purchased a mix of five chocolates, including truffles. Everything was delicious and the shop smells divine. It is located beside Bath and Body Works, but is like stepping into another world.
