For my sister's baby shower, I had a spring floral theme in mind. Polina listened attentively and translated my vision into a delectable reality. The cake was not only stunning, it was a crowd-pleaser. We had the 'Letter Cake' made with honey biscuits, white chocolate ganache, & berry confit (this is BiteIt!'s most popular flavor, and we can see why). The honey biscuit cake was soft with a crumbly texture (comparable to shortbread cookies, but with a subtle sweetness and floral hint from the honey). The white chocolate ganache had a smooth, sweet, and milky chocolate flavor. The berry confit was a refreshing and tart jam that added a fruity burst to each bite of the cake. Polina also baked up macaron boxes as party favors for each guest - raspberry & mango-lemon (both heavenly, the raspberry was my favorite). My wife and I stumbled upon this cafe last year, and enjoyed the coffee and cookies but even more importantly, we were charmed by the smiling servers (aka "Stars") who efficiently and proudly took our orders and served us. Special needs doesn't limit the Stars' enthusiasm for their work! The Cafe also has a great outside porch where you can watch the world go by while enjoying delicious coffee and food (quiche, soup, salad, etc.). This is inside a giant King Sooper grocery store which is not at all evident from the website or a…read moregoogle search. Also signage once you map there is very deceiving as there is a giant sign in the outside back of the building as if the entrance is around back. There's a second much smaller sign on the front of the King Sooper that makes it look like there is its own bakery entrance. But when you walk up to it, it is actually a fire door and you have to walk through the main entrance and to the back of the store . CAke and bread selection looks amazing (like a supermarket ) but the grab and go pastry selection was non existent, which is what we had come for. Also no coffee. Website makes it seem like a great place to grab a pastry but it's more of a commercial bakery
