If you are looking to celebrate with ice cream I would not recommend coming to this cold stone. The attitude & treatment that my family and I received was uncalled for. The woman with Blonde hair in a pony tail & clear framed glasses was so unprofessional and completely annoyed working there. Besides scolding every customer about where the line was. We received commentary from her such as, "Like how much ice cream are you gonna like order... are you like done yet?" She peered over to her coworker with comments like ,"you think they got enough ice cream? Like Jesus christ, Like just look at them. " Apparently you aren't allowed to go to cold stone as a family and each person order an ice cream. Imagine receiving that treatment with your children. Your child nervous to order and she demands a repeat 4x just to add sprinkles. That's how she treated my son. I mean the audacity to think that people can't hear you making rude statements and so angry that you had to make ice cream and cash them out. This one employee absolutely ruined any good experience I have ever had at Cold Stone. I'm lactose intolerant (and order the silk ice cream) and was happy that I could join my family in getting ice cream. But failure to clean the countertop where you add in toppings has got me feeling awful & sick. I cannot stress how scary that would be for someone who would have anaphylactic reactions to certain toppings. What a waist of money. I paid to get treated awful & to be sick.

The banana cream pudding was my favorite! This place and location is so amazing! I love the outside seating area with the shade of the pine trees! So beautiful and relaxing and the service is amazing and very friendly!

    Rip off.

Coldstone's ice cream is unreasonably overpriced. With knowing this fact I still decided to go for a special treat tonight. Well, I should've taken my money anywhere else. I paid $8!!!! Tonight for this much ice cream. I haven't even taken a bite. Do you see how little there is? This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only is it overpriced but it's also nowhere near full. This chain will be going out of business unless they start treating their customers correctly and maybe realize that they're selling ice cream. Not gods milk. Maybe it's just the castle rock location... I don't know but I do know I will not be spending money here again.

    no fixings in it

I went into the store and asked for a sliced banana on top of my ice cream and Matthew Hedges spent 12 minutes trying to open the banana.

I got to Yelp in Castle Rock today. And it was for this cute cake shop in the heart of Castle Rock…read moredowntown. And it's none other than the Cake Company. I had a side hustle job assignment in the very neighborhood mid-afternoon. And I simply didn't want to go there, work, leave and get home; I wanted to discover a business I have never been to. I hence googled bakeries and this cake shop came up. According to a little research, this shop opened its doors in January of 2021 by two sisters who are Colorado natives. This element added more excitement to my quick visit I made today. The Cake Company is adorable. From the exterior signage to the interior decors, everything that decorates the whole space matches the theme of the store. Mostly pink and off-white, they not only sell beautifully crafted cupcakes, pies, rice crispies, cinnamon rolls, to name a few, they also sell some gifts such as wine glasses, t-shirts, journal books, tote bags, mug cups, I mean you name it!! I was at awe standing in front of the showcase that displays all sorts of sweets. When one of the ladies upfront greeted me with a very peppy welcoming tone, she kindly said to take my time. I thus allowed myself to be indecisive for several minutes to take my time (LOL!!) Whereas the pies and cheesecakes to the right looked amazing, they also appeared a bit too big and decadent. Since I only needed one good piece of some delicious something, I opted for a cupcake as they aren't as big as the other sweets. Upon asking the same lady which ones are the most popular, she said it was either Berry Tilly or Better Than Sex. My instinct told me to go with the latter: Better Than Sex. The different lady transacted my purchase. She carefully put my cupcake in a single cupcake box. Just so you know, their boxes are tilt-free so your sweet stuff won't tilt inside it (unless you violently shake the box!) The cupcakes are $6 each. And yet, if you buy 6 or more, each price is reduced to $5.50 up to 11. If you buy 12 or more, each price is reduced to $5.00. 20% discount will be added if you purchase 3 dozens. The shop does sell gluten free ones and yet any of the discounts I mentioned don't appear to apply to them. After the purchase, I looked to the left to discover a little entry way to the store next door. It's Lost Coffee. The customers are free to go in and out between the two shops. This means that you can take your cupcake to the next store and have some coffee or tea to pair with it. This is another store that has this symbiotic relationship with their next-door neighbor business. I always find the concept so intriguing. Businesses help each other. As soon as I got back to my car, I immediately opened the box and started to dig in. And wow....I know this is such an ordinary statement but I will say it: this is/was by far the best cupcake I've ever had. It was perfectly moist in the sponge part with the perfect sweetness. After one bite, it was simply impossible for me to stop eating it although I wanted to save some for later. The cupcake thus disappeared so quickly in a matter of 2-3 minutes. Their cupcakes are phenomenal. There is no way you'll buy cupcakes from other places once you have experienced theirs. I am already pondering as to when I should go back. Discovering great businesses bring me joy; this is why I can never stop Yelping.

*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW…read more I recently got a birthday cake from here and had a no-issue experience! When I called to place my order, they warned me about it being a shared kitchen, but that they do what they can to avoid cross-contamination risk. Normally I would not risk it, but this place was very highly spoken of in the "Denver GF" Facebook group - so I gave it a try! I ordered a GF small white rosette designed cake in the GF better than sex flavor. Everyone at my party loved it (both GF and non-GF folks) and nobody got sick. upon picking up the cake I also had a GF maple glazed donut and GF chocolate chip scone - the GF donuts are held on the top two racks of donuts, and the scones have their own jar. The cupcakes are with the other cupcakes in a display case, but are in front so likelihood of crumbs dropping it lower - they have their own tower / stand within the display. I asked the woman to wash her hands before grabbing my items and she happily did! I did not get sick from any of the three items I tried! The cake is nice and moist, donut was a little dense but good flavor, and the scone was superrrr dry and dense but that's pretty common of GF scones.

Bakery!…read moreHelmed by the talented Polina Astafyeva (a seasoned Cake Artist with a passion for all things sweet), BiteIt! creates cakes & desserts that are as beautiful as they are delicious. From the moment I contacted Polina, I knew I was in good hands. She made the entire process, from discussing my vision for the cake & desserts, to picking up the final masterpieces (delivery is also available), so easy. For my sister's baby shower, I had a spring floral theme in mind. Polina listened attentively and translated my vision into a delectable reality. The cake was not only stunning, it was a crowd-pleaser. We had the 'Letter Cake' made with honey biscuits, white chocolate ganache, & berry confit (this is BiteIt!'s most popular flavor, and we can see why). The honey biscuit cake was soft with a crumbly texture (comparable to shortbread cookies, but with a subtle sweetness and floral hint from the honey). The white chocolate ganache had a smooth, sweet, and milky chocolate flavor. The berry confit was a refreshing and tart jam that added a fruity burst to each bite of the cake. Polina also baked up macaron boxes as party favors for each guest - raspberry & mango-lemon (both heavenly, the raspberry was my favorite). This was such a fun way to leave everyone with treats to take home. BiteIt! Bakery made our celebration so much sweeter & I can't wait to order from Polina again in the future!
