Understood, it may seem odd a review originating with a black guy singing the praises of spray tanning. However, while in town executing my last event I was in a bit of a bind with two models: one of a modest need and the other, shall we say, very much in need of sun. We visited Bronzed Airbrush Tanning prior to our shoot, hoping to balance the look, and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Everything turned out perfectly, simply amazing. This was by far the best airbrush tan session I have had yet. You have an actual person airbrushing you versus a machine which decreases room for error and missing areas. Not to mention that the spray tan doesn't smell bad or rub off on your clothes-which is genius! I have had spray tans before where I have left and looked like a big carrot stick walking around with white streaks in places. Bronzed Airbrush Tanning doesn't use carotene or any of that mess hence the reason why you don't look orange. After I waited until the next morning to take a shower-I looked like I had been to the beach and had a natural tan. I absolutely LOVE this place. I used to go to another salon and the woman who owned it was nice and the tan was great but I really just couldn't afford it anymore then I found Bronzed Airbrush Tanning and I been completely happy ever since. The quality of the tan is one of best I've had (and I've had a lot as I am very very pale). It lasts for a long time, assuming you stick to the moisturize often and not exfoliate rules. I also have VERY acne prone skin and found no adverse effects of this tan with my skin, so that's a definite plus! I also felt super comfortable with the whole thing. I'm fairly shy and Courtney makes it seem like its just as casual as getting my nails done. So great! I have actually only been here when it was still out of her home, but I can assume the space its located in now is great. I had my first Brazilian with sugar. I was impressed!!! I've been waxed (hard wax) and had laser prior. So far I'll stick to the sugar method. My skin was very hydrated afterwards and it was not as painful. I was mostly impressed because my yoni was just extremely soft. I'm big on hygiene and I have extremely sensitive skin all over but this seems to work for me. I will be returning and possibly trying underarms. Oh and great customer service. Even after reading all the 5 star reviews, I was still somewhat apprehensive about getting my first spray tan. I had been playing beach volleyball all late spring into early summer so my legs were a lovely color-block of healthy tan and white chalk due to my shorts. Usually tans fade as we all know, but of course this one decided not to. Even as the top part of my body faded, my two-toned legs continued their quest to make life a little more annoying. I didn't really give too much thought about this until I had an art show where we couldn't have any obvious lines. What to do? Consult yelpers for options... So two days prior to the event, I had my noon appointment with Courtney, letting her know my concerns and she was extremely helpful with answering my questions and assuring me the timeframe would be perfect. I showed her the specific color break with my legs and she said she would appropriately layer the proper amount to the upper portion. The process was very comfortable, and she was very thorough in hand-spraying everything evenly. Now I followed the instructions online and wore dark clothing in case some of the cosmetic bronzer decided to come off. Unfortunately, I had to work a couple hours after my appointment so I had to don a white tank top underneath another top. I wore my 'dark outfit' for as long as I could until I needed to change. When I arrived home about 10 hours later, the white tank was basically brown, but I knew what to expect so I made sure it was a 'regulation undertop'. I eventually showered and have to say I was VERY pleased with the spray tan! I had worn something during the spraying, so I could see the dramatic results for comparison. There were two choices of spray tan, and I just went with the basic 'custom tan' which was exactly what I needed. It's been a week and I am just starting to see some fading. This wasn't an obvious white-to-tan deal, although a couple of co-workers who I see consistently commented I appeared 'healthier'. Thanks, guys. Being someone with an olive skin tone tanning has always concerned me a little. Too many people in LA in end up too orange for their own good. Courtney will make sure that won't happen and she's a pleasure to work with. Courtney is easy to talk to, has a great business mind and make the whole experience comfortable. Love this place! I came here in May for a spray tan before my sister's wedding, and I got so many compliments about how good it looked. It was not streaky or orange at all, I looked perfectly California sun-kissed :) I subscribed to the company's emails and received a bunch for free services from trainees, and decided to try out a Brazilian sugaring. Normally I'm a wax gal, but wanted to try something different and more natural. Though I didn't know what to expect, it actually hurt less than I anticipated and the trainer seemed to be giving the trainee really good guidance (and they were thorough!). Originally I came as a sugaring client, and now I'm addicted to the spray tans. The girls do a great job of making you comfortable, customize the type of tan you're looking for and the amount of time you have before you're able to manage your next shower, and every time I have been left with an beautiful, streak free tan that usually lasts (for me) at least a week! Highly recommend Rachel, if you have the opportunity to ask for her; she's super sweet, makes you feel totally relaxed and her technique is on point. Like I said, I'm kind of addicted and my confidence is pretty much through the roof once my tan is complete! The service is great; they have often got me in earlier than my requested appointment and got me out even more quickly than expected. The sugarings are not exactly painless (as to be expected) but their girls work very quickly and typically have you out even quicker than if you had gone to get waxed elsewhere. Also I think in theory it's supposed to be healthier than waxing? Courtney is really good at what she does. Living in NYC, I find I'm really washed out. Coming from the sunshine in the west, at times it's hard to stomach looking in the mirror at my white-ness. I got airbrushed by Courtney today and she was amazing! I'm an avid Yelp user, but don't usually write reviews. However my experience/tan was so good I had to give the girl some credit! I've gotten spray tans before and they've either been streaky or orange. This time my tan looks even and natural! I'm so impressed. She fit me in last minute for my pre-Coachella needs. She was super nice and made me feel very comfortable. She gave great explanation about the organic, sugar based solution she uses, how I should maintain my tan/make it last, and directions of where to stand ect. during the process. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. My tan developed over the next few hours. I wasn't sticky or smelly so I could continue with my plans after my session. So I had a photo shoot scheduled for a whole week after my appointment at Bronzed Airbrush Tanning because I had to fly out of state for the shoot. I asked the girls if my spray tan will last that long and they told me it depends on my skin and how well I take care of it. They offered for me to buy their Tan Extender moisturizer. I decided to go ahead and purchase the Tan Extender but ended up not bringing it with me on my trip. However, I was very happy to find my skin still looking sun-kissed a week later! It was actually my first time using spray tan (I'm used to just hitting up the beach and getting my tan on there but I was on a time crunch and couldn't afford to have any unwanted lines for my shoot). The girls were very friendly and patient with me and made me feel completely relaxed. For new customers, they have a buy one get one free deal. Also, you have an option of the standard tan, in which you have to wait 12 hours before showering, and the express tan which lets you shower 1-4 hours after. You also have a choice of how dark/light to go. I chose the medium dark and it gave me a pretty decent color that looked great with white, black, and bright colors as well as sun yellow and coral (or other colors hard to pull off) The girls told me that I could wear as much or as less as I am comfortable with. Their friendliness and how comfortable they made me feel inspired me to opt for the topless. The girl who did my spray tan was very professional without making the whole experience awkward. We had a nice chat while she sprayed and she gave great instruction. I asked her to help even out my complexion, fix the tan lines, and to give me a bit of contour so that my boobs would look good and my abs could be more defined. She added an extra spray on certain areas and it really did make my body look better and as if I had lost 5 pounds! It looked completely natural! Overall the experience was great. It felt like I was at a spa, the place is cute and nicely decorated, the staff gives great customer service and show that they really care how your experience is (they even sent me a nice email afterwards to follow up), and I looked great/ nicely tanned for two weeks. The tanning product they use here is amazing! It comes out even and it is not sticky or smelly. I am very fair (pasty, actually) and this gave me a nice glow that didn't look fake. Courtney is super nice and her little spa area is very cute. The price is great, and because this is not a giant spa with 10 people to tip the savings are passed on! The staff here super friendly and nice. Unfortunately their spray tanning is cheaply made. I've been airbrushing for 6+ years and on average my sprays last 1.5-2 weeks. I've come in to bronzed twice now a couple of months apart and each time they start PEELING (not fading) but peeling off in2-3 days! It looks disgusting and I am embarrassed to show off my skin. I received a spray tan on Thursday and by Sunday night it was starting to come off, on Monday I called the store because I was curious what type of solution they use. The women on the phone was snappy and rude. She kept saying how it must have been something I was doing. -I kept all my showers short with a neutral water temperature - Barely any soap and no exfoliates -I made sure to moisturizer constantly - I was sitting in meeting all day so it's not like it was due to sweat To top it off the women never even apologized or offered to make it better. Awhile back I thought I had found Nirvana. I was so happy with my "tan" results. I continued going back. Then I had a terrible experience. Streaky, blotchy, even the color was different. The salon stepped up to the plate big time. I was very impressed. I went back for a redo it was ok. The results were a little paint like. I didn't go back for awhile. Last week I gave it another try. YIKES!! the worst experience ever. I looked like a zebra and the color was almost orange. I took the survey. I never got a response. Left a message, nothing. I will never go back. Great customer service and product. Called the facility and no one picked up so I left a voicemail. They were prompt on calling me back and fit me in for a same day appointment. They have a great special for first time clients.... 2 spray tans for $39. I got the express tan, which was an additional $10 but totally worth it to shower within hours. I got DARK. I kept it on for a little more than 3 hours. Since I was so pale to start with it did look a little fake but only because I'm used to seeing myself ghost white. Everyone else said I look fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place!! The tans come out very even and natural, without any streaks or being orange (as long as you don't go too dark). They last about 7-10 days and yes, they start peeling off a little towards the end, but isn't that expected? The customer service is fantastic - they're all very nice and laid-back. I recently got a tan and I wasn't too happy with the result (it was light and uneven, my arms were still pale and my face was tan, etc). I called them the following day and they were happy to fit me in for a touch up - for FREE! On top of that, a few days later someone emailed me and offered a discount on my next appointment to make up for the inconvenience. Just WOW. Been here twice for sugaring and so far so good! While sugaring is still painful for me (especially the most recent time since I shaved :( ), I really liked the girls working there! They're very nice and easy to talk to, making me feel at ease! I like the sugaring because I don't have to come back until another two months. My only issue is they have block-out dates before big events (such as Coachella and apparently Stagecoach), and holidays. I didn't know that the complimentary sugaring from the new client special does not apply during these block-out dates. While I didn't mind paying regular price for the sugaring, I would like a heads-up that the complimentary sugaring I still have does not apply...I also didn't know Stagecoach was a big event until I spoke to the lady (I feel bad I forgot her name) who did the sugaring for me and Stagecoach is apparently this week? I really like how they shot us a text to remind us about our appointment for that day, but perhaps if there are block-out dates for the complimentary sugaring/tanning to be used, then the block-out dates should be mentioned along with the reminder--just a suggestion! read more

Service here is terrible!!! I made a back to back sugared bronzed apt. First I was told sorry cant do eyebrows ok fine would have been nice to know ahead but ok. Then I got done with my sugaring. I was told tanning not for another 45 mins. I did not want to wait that long since I was told back to back. So I made an apt for the following day at 2pm. I get there at 2pm. Told sorry we dont have your apt!!!! I am now sitting and waiting AGAIN. To hopefully be tanned! This place needs to learn how to book apts.
