I haven't gotten a Brazilian before, but everyone had mentioned how great of a job Zuzanna does. I had sent a message over Yelp to request an appointment & they got back to me super quick with times available. The salon is located In a tiny plaza, but it was easy to find. The salon is very tidy and pretty! Zuzanna and her staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Zuzanna let me know what she was doing every step of the way and put me at ease. The Brazilian wasn't as painful as I thought. I would definitely come back and recommend this salon! I'm going to come back for a facial soon :)

Even from the mall entrance, the clinic is only a few minutes of walk to reach, making it easier for clients to be there on time for their appointments. The aestheticians are great. They're always nice, friendly, and accommodating. However I always see signs that say nurses and doctors are always there but I never see them or interact with them in the clinic. The clinic is also consistently clean. The waiting area, the treatment rooms, and the equipment look hygienic. Also, for facial areas, aestheticians offer gauze pads to close your eyes with and that's a detail I appreciate. Something to improve on is the communication. I made an appointment and waited for a while only to find out that they changed a policy in that they needed me to bring a doctor's note for a certain medication. Not only did I already pay for the appointment so I can't cancel it if I didn't know about the note/restriction, but I also had to schedule another time to come to the clinic. Just a bit to improve on so others don't have to spend time to come in twice! It would be nice if customers were given a notice of the policies before they purchase the treatments, because they can't get a refund for it otherwise.

There may or may not have been twirls in department stores afterwards. I wanted a new do and mustered up courage to follow through. I needed some sort of change in my life and the most logical thing would be something that grew back - like hair. Piercing an appendage or limb was plan B. I have gotten my hair cut with Katherine quite a few times. She knows exactly how to frame my face in a flattering way. For a while now, we had discussed coloring or balayage and I was finally ready. When it comes to hair, I get a bit nervous making big decisions but she asked me what I wanted and then gave me her opinion on something we could try. She said it would be easy to change with a simple toner if I didn't like the look. There was no need for that. It was spot on and my hair looked fantastic. It still does! She gave me highlights and low lights to produce a balayage effect. With my coloring, I didn't want too much blonde but more something ashy. It's also perfect because she managed to give me something that grows out well and doesn't need the most maintenance because my schedule can get hectic at times. I look great and feel great. It's funny what a small change can do for your confidence. One thing to note is that the prices are on the higher end but you get what you pay for. It was a big up front cost for my hair but it'll grow out well and maintenance requires an occasional toner and cut. Definitely quality services offered here so if you don't want to risk messing with your hair, then definitely try TonyC!

The last experience I getting my eyebrows waxed was in Cleveland and it was awful. It was a spot that I had been to often with overall good results. But the last time was a nightmare because the lady took off a 1/3 of my right eyebrow. And so for the past two months, as I have been growing it back, I've had to use extra make-up to fill in my eyebrow so I don't look like a freak. (BTW.... Benefit has the most amazing eyebrow kit with powder and setting gel. Its a little pricey- about $40- but totally worth it!! I got it at Macy's in NYC last year and I don't leave the house anymore without using it... even when I'm not trying to cover up a waxing mishap). Well anyways... I went to Dubai Beauty Palor this afternoon for a clean up of my brows. First the place is really clean and the people are friendly and professional. Don't be put off by the area/neighborhood or the shoft flight of stair you have to climb to get to the palor. Second, the lady who did my brows was great!! She actually used the threading technique which I had never tried before. I had heard that threading is more painful than waxing but that wasn't my experience with this lady/palor. She was really quick and her technique was awesome. And third the service was ridiculously cheap. Get this... it cost $4. Yep that's right, FOUR BUCKS. Can you believe it? I tipped the lady $5 because of the great service and results, not to mention that every other place that I've ever been has cost me between $12 and $20 and so not tipping would have seemed unduly cheap and mean. I can't say enough good things about this place and why you should definitely check it out. I just may be making the four hour drive from Cleveland to Mississauga more often now so that I can squeeze in a good threading every other month. Cheers!!

It's a very basic location with necessary equipment to get the job done. However, there are no extra pluses as you would get at a (sometimes) overpriced spa. During the course of my session she handled the treatment with great professionalism. This was my first electrolysis treatment at this place, and I am already anticipating great results due to the care of the staff!
