They have hours posted but are not open. No one is answering the phone and I cant get my clothes. A notice on the door would be nice.

I had the worst experience with a tailor at Suh's. We had a suit and bridesmaid dress tailored for a wedding and feel like we were way overcharged for starters. However, that wasn't the worst part...their customer service is absolutely horrible and I don't think I've ever encountered a business so unprofessional. They lost the pants the week of the wedding and refused to pay the price to replace them. I even went into the store to talk to them twice and they brushed me off. The mom who runs the store doesn't speak a lick of english and had to call her daughter to talk to me. I explained to her that we were there to pick up our reimbursement and she flat out stated that she wouldn't tell her mom how to hand us our money and subsequently hung up on me. I highly DO NOT recommend this tailor, they're way overpriced, do a terrible job with women's dress alterations and they lose your clothing. It amazes me that they are still in business. read more

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews about this place. I've been going there for over 10 years and never had a bad experience. I'll agree they are expensive, but everything I've ever had tailored has come out impeccably. She always takes her time to measure me accurately and I've never had them lose any of my clothing. Of particular note, I moved from Centreville to Vienna about 5 years ago and a few years ago, did try a new (closer) tailor (highly rated on Yelp, by the way) and she ended up hemming my bridesmaid's dress unevenly, which makes me cringe every time I look at the pictures. My mom has been going to this place for years and i recently took a bridesmaid dress there to be altered. The experience was perfect and I have zero complaints. Perfect craftsmanship! They did a good job with the hem, shoulders, and boning. read more

My family went to Suh's for all their alterations. Over a decade of great service. Not long ago, I took 1 suit and a second pair of pants for minor hemming and to have the waist taken in. I was told to pick them up in a week. When I went to pick up, they weren't finished. No problem, I was fine with that. 3 days later, I tried again, and their sign said "away at lunch". I had to come back another day, again not too worried. 2 days later, I went at 10 am, "At lunch, be back at 1:30". That's a long lunch, but sure. I come back at 1:50, "At lunch, be back at 3". Now that was a bit annoying. You came back, changed the sign, then left again? I came back at the open of business next day. They couldn't find my clothes at first. I asked if I could try them on, she said "if you want". I tried on one pair of pants, seemed fine, so after all the great work over the years I went on my way. I got those pieces dry cleaned a week later. The stitching all came loose, and one of the pants that I hadn't worn yet had all the excess fabric bunched up and sewn in the back, from when they tried to take in the waist. I'm no tailor, but I assumed they would cut any unneeded fabric out, not just leave it for me to find later. Did I mention for this visit, I spent just under $200? Not the worst prices, but shockingly awful work. I'm sad to say, after seeing the more recent reviews and now having this experience first hand, none of my family will be using Suh's any longer. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I've used this place a few times and have been pleased with the work they've done. Well I took my bridesmaids dress, there, for which I'm the MOH for my twin sister in a couple of weeks, and needed the top of it taken in some. She measured me and I paid my $38, which I thought was a bit expensive, and said it would be ready in a week. Well I came back to pick up my dress and she handed it to me and I asked if I could try it on before I left. I guess the fact that they don't even ask you to try on your clothing to make sure everything fits correctly should have been my first red flag. I went into the dressing room and tried it on and couldn't get it zipped up. So I went back to the lady and asked if she would zip it for me. Well she tried and tried and tried and finally got it zipped, but I could barely breath. I asked her why was it so tight and she said, it wasn't like that when I pinned you. And I responded that there was no way I gained that much weight in a week where the dress could barely zip up She just looked at me confused and I said well there's nothing you can do? And she responded that those were the measurements she took. I will NEVER go back to them again! Not only did they screw up my bridesmaid dress that I have to wear in 2 weeks, but gave no offer to fix the problem and made it seem like it was my fault. I have lived in Centreville for 20+ years and have used their tailor service years ago. I recently had 4 skirts hemmed and they were all longer than I requested. When I had them revise one skirt they were visibly irritated and actually on pick up, made me sign that skirt was ok. They also charge $50 per skirt which is outrageous. Also, the skirt was not ready as scheduled. I will never return to this tailor again. read more

this place is absolutely awful! DO NOT GO, I thought there customer service was ok until things started going wrong. I used them for my wedding and picked up my tuxes the Thursday before the wedding on Saturday. and since people were out of town some getting in Friday most of us couldn't try the tuxes on till Friday. well as the married people no on Friday you have rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and plus we played golf before all that, well on Friday we tried them all on and 1 out of 7 were correct, the grom(me) who had the only different color vest got the same color as everyone else, my vest was also way to small about 2 sizes to small,anyways I called them on Friday and said unfortunately we can't use the tuxes and had to emergency call another tux place to get new ones since she(the evil receptionist) needed a couple days to get new orders. I then said I will return them on Monday which was the date she said they needed to be returned and get my money back, she then made up a Claus saying they need to be returned in the next hour or I don't get any money back, that is not what we agreed on and I'm at my rehearsal and I will return them on my date I was told to return them I told her, needless to say she started blaming me and everyone besides her own service that it was our fault not hers, she is losing our business, will lose everyone who reads this business and so on, my wife and I are already in talks with a lawyer and will be taking them to civil court soon! Agreed. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I hesitate even giving them 1 star! Alterations are wayyy overpriced for the low quality of work you will receive. I recommend finding a different tailor. I definitely will not be going back there! read more

My son's school order their band clothes from them. So we ordered pants through the school. When we received it it was just too big. My son said the lady who came to measure them took the measurement very quickly. Anyway we went to their store and the lady there could not talk or understand english so she called the "manager" and my wife talked to her. She asked us to come next day, we went there next day and saw the store was closed before their regular time. I called them and was told they changed their time on that day and now closing early (6pm). Although the "manager" that my wife talked to previous day told us to come before 7pm. Anyway, they are rude and not good customer service. Not going there again. Have also inform this to the school. read more

I got my prom dress altered here and they did such a great job and their customer service is wonderful!! My boyfriend also rented his tuxedo from here and they are having a promotion $50 off prom tuxedo and the promotion is still going on so I would totally recommend it! Everything I have ever had tailored, I have had tailored at Suh's in Centreville. While they usually do an excellent job, I recently had such a poor experience that I will not be going back. I recently needed two Indian outfits tailored for a wedding, and I was charged $176 for the two of them. Both outfits were supposed to take about a week to finish (which is normal), but when I went to pick them up, they both needed to be taken in more. The second time I went to pick them up (another week later), one of the outfits needed to be adjusted again. A week after that, when I went to pick up the second outfit, I brought in the skirt of the first outfit to be hemmed, which I was quoted at $30. After the hem was pinned, I was waiting for the slip to find out when to pick it up and she told me it would cost $85. I told her I was quoted $30, and that the new price is almost triple the price I was promised, she said it would be more work, therefore more money. I told her that I bring everything I need tailored to them, and have for ten years, and that I JUST spent $176. Apparently, the hundreds of dollars I've spent there over the years doesn't count for anything, as they were still willing to gouge a loyal customer for an extra $55. If they had to increase their price a bit because it was more work than they had initially thought, I would've been fine with it, but to triple the price?!? It has cost them all of my future business as I will not be going back. I subsequently went down the street to a store I have never been to (and thus I have never given them a dime), and they quoted me $45 for the same tailoring job. To know how little they value their customers is a terrible disappointment. read more
