I was going for an espresso brown to match my natural hair color and long layers with long face framing, and as you can see, she did just that! It looks so good in the sun! She truly listened to what I wanted and delivered even better than I imagined. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish and felt welcoming, relaxing and professional. I have fine blonde hair and was worried about whether this treatment would be too intense for me and Melody eased any concern I had. I feel like I've learned a new life hack because my hair now dries without frizz and there is no need for me to even blow dry or apply heat for it to look shiny and styled. Even better is that this treatment seems to have strengthened my hair and I no longer need to wash it daily because it doesn't look greasy like it used to due to how fine it is.

I've…read morebeen to a few salons around the area and they either didn't do what I was hoping for in color or if they did, the hair product smelled so strongly of chemicals. At first I was using Yelp to help find a salon but I felt the pictures on the pages weren't representative or up to date. So I turned to Instagram to find my next salon to try out. Then I found two salons within Sola and started shopping around for prices. Moreno Designs had far more reasonable prices. Heather is so impressive! She's young and running her own business. I love the decor/design she chose for her space. It's very clean and modern. Parking can be a hassle downtown but since I live so close, I just walk to the salon. I know the parking garages give you 1.5 hours for free and maybe Box garage is free on the weekends. So far, I'm impressed with everything she has done to my hair. She understands what I'm looking for even when I feel like I can't explain it well or it can be interpreted in so many ways. I usually get Davine's Flambayage and the color last me about 4 months! I'm not too adventurous but she also does bright colored hairs like pinks, purples, and blues. Maybe I'll try them on my tips of my hair someday. She sells and uses Davines and OMG they smell so good. The scents are very fresh and light and never smell like harsh chemicals. Heather doesn't push you to buy the product but I was swayed just by the smell and the packaging of the product. Also since I've been using it, I think my hair is so much healthier and the color last so much longer. I highly recommend Heather! I have finally found a great hair stylist/colorist and person.
