I booked a root touch-up and when I arrived I asked for a trim along with my services. A trim is not a possible service at this salon, so I was told I would be charged $90 for a full cut. During my time at the salon I was encouraged to get other services such as toner for my "brassy" ends, olaplex treatment, and layers. LAYERS. I normally get a pretty blunt cut because I have straight, fine, thin hair and layers make thin hair appear thinner. Laura really encouraged the layers and I started to feel insecure like I must have had long, stringy, flat, lifeless hair. So, yes, I did end up getting layers and trusted that the stylist would know best, but I am completely unhappy with them. I would rather chop my hair off to one length at this point. She tried encouraging layers around the face too (flashback to the 90s/00s) and I declined. However I can clearly see layers surrounding my face and it's very unappealing to me. Some pros: 1. My root color and toned ends turned out just fine 2. I was not charged the full $90 for my hair cut (which I am thankful for because I simply got a trim for my less than 1oz of total hair that now has been thinned out even more with layers that are rubbing me the wrong way) 3. Laura was nice and welcoming 4. The salon was clean and visually appealing Besides blaming myself for getting "talked into" these services, I really just dislike the whole situation of having every service possible offered to me as if I didn't already see it as an option under "services" on the website when I was booking my appointment. I get my hair done regularly ~ every 8 weeks, so my hair was not in terrible or neglected shape by any means-- but the way I was getting offered extra services that I didn't book made me feel like I walked in off the street without any hair maintenance at all. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new salon and stylist. Unfortunately this is not the place for me. read more

I was lucky enough to get an appointment before the salons closed again. Tiffany is so talented and the sweetest person you will meet! She did an amazing job on my hair. I had box dye in my hair, so i was not expecting my hair to lift to much. But Tiffany did her thing! She was so meticulous and thorough when applying the bleach and foil onto my hair. No has ever been able to get me this light in one sitting without jeopardizing the integrity of my hair.
