I've lived in Orlando for 1.5 years and haven't really tried to find a salon for color/highlights but I WILL be back to see her in the future. As you walk in you are greeted by a rep that checks you in. You're then ushered to a waiting area for hair and makeup services or to the locker rooms and lounge if you are receiving spa services. The locker room was set up really nicely. Lockers were large, and included a lock and key. They provide robes and sandals. The sandals were surprisingly comfy but the robe was not plus size friendly! That was my only negative. They provide ample space to freshen up before or after your service, including a shower. And a lounge with teas and water to relax as you wait for your spa tech. My service: Body Ritual included a dry scrub with exfoliating gloves, followed by warm Shea butter, then she wraps you in the blankets to seal in the moisture. She then gives you a face massage and applies a face mask and then a foot massage with reflexology. It was very relaxing and my skin felt great! Key tip! Make sure you bring your own spa headband or scrunchie. I am used to my spa providing this but this one did not have anything to protect my hair. They have many specials right now and will be offering black Friday specials that I plan to take advantage of. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to try more of their services.

The pedicure was just what my feet needed. I got to choose from different salts for the foot soak and my heels felt so soft after the pedicure. I was able to schedule a hair cut after the pedicure and the timing worked out perfectly. My stylist was friendly and she did a great job listening to how I wanted my hair cut. 5 Star update for fabulous extensions, taking them out for the summer, and being left with GREAT…read morehair (better than before the extensions!). So here's the thing- I was initially nervous about getting extensions because I had heard horror stories about how they thin your natural hair. Enter: Megan: My long-time hair color fairy and the guardian of my hair (lol). Knowing she'd never steer me wrong, when I expressed interest in extensions, I was confident my hair underneath would be fine. 1.5 years later and I just recently took the extensions out for a summer break (your girl runs hot!) and I am so impressed by the state of my scalp and hair now. Not only has my amount of hair not diminished, I even feel like it's much healthier than before the extensions. I would think this is due to expert installation as well as the fact that the extensions lengthened the time between washes (my fine hair used to get so weighed down and greasy, so I used to have to wash very often, and the extensions prolonged the volume). I will definitely be doing extensions again, especially now that I know that I can easily get them installed and take breaks as needed. Megan was also able to help me extend the life of my extensions with education on how to care for them, so I still have them in a bag for when I go back to long, voluminous, vavavoom hair. Once again- no one is allowed to touch my hair with color or extensions unless their name is Megan Essig. Previous review: 5 Stars for extensions that perfectly match my hair and have changed my whole hair routine! It's been 8 months now of having extensions by Megan and I could not be happier. She is an absolute expert at color matching and she helps you buy the extensions directly from the supplier (no upcharging here!) from there the install is totally painless and flawless. I surprise people constantly when I let them know I have extensions because it looks like my real hair and the roots don't stick out prominently. The best part? I thought this would add to my hair care routine time, but on the contrary- I can go longer between washes and styling because it holds the style so well and doesn't get greasy. So now my natural hair is healthier. Truly wild because of the things I've heard from others about what extensions did to their hair. I think it's a testament to the way she installs them and the care that's taken.
