This was my first time at this Hair Studio. Sahel, was my hair stylist. I got a haircut, wash and blow dry. I don't like blow drying my hair because I usually end up with a headache due to the high heat and rough pulling of my hair. This time, I did not experience any of this. Went to Maestros for the first time yesterday for a trim, partial highlights, and blow dry with styling and Anna Bonura did an AMAZING JOB! I have natural black hair and used to be blonde for 5 years before going back to my natural color in 2021. I've been wanting to do something with my hair but didn't want the damage and maintenance of having blonde hair again so we went for partial highlights. Anna listened to what I wanted and gave some suggestions and it turned out beautifully! I've lived in Orlando for 1.5 years and haven't really tried to find a salon for color/highlights but I WILL be back to see her in the future. She was so friendly and professional and the vibe of the salon was similar. I could not be happier with Migdelis at Maestro's. I had recently gotten a horrible cut at another salon. The hairdresser hacked my hair with thinning scissors. Migdelis was able to style it in a way that I don't have to wear it in a ponytail anymore to hide the mistakes. She informed me what to do to take care of it until it grows out, and talked me through what we will do next to thin it out in a healthy way. Couldn't be happier! read more

One star is kind. I set up an appointment weeks ago to redo my highlights and I have already talked to my hairstyles about it a haircut appointment before. When I came in I was surprised that they had me down as a coloring and NOT a highlighting treatment to fix my highlights. When I said I talked to you in person about it while making the appointment they said they didn't remember. They also told me that they can only do coloring and they didn't have time for a highlight appointment. So I went along to get the coloring to cover up the highlights, not only did they stain my forehead and dried out my hair, the highlights were still there and somehow worse. When I told them that I had a wedding to go to next week they didn't care and sent me on my way without even saying sorry. They definitely lost a customer. read more

I went here to get my hair and makeup done for prom and I was extremely disappointed to say the least. My mom found this place on yelp, and we only live about 5 minutes from this place so that was a plus. I only had to wait about 10 minutes in the lobby before they called me for my appointment. The young lady that did my hair was very sweet and knew what she was doing, but the hairstyle she gave me wasn't really what I told her I wanted. It was too tight and stuck to my head instead of a nice flowy up-do. Then I wait 15 minutes in the lobby until the "makeup artist" was ready. I don't even want to call her that because I could've done my own makeup a thousand times better. Where do I start? First of all, the foundation she put on me made me look like Donald Trump. I showed her a glittery silver eye shadow look. Apparently she didn't have any glitters so all she gave me was a smokey eye that came out looking like I got punched. The worst was the eyeliner though. She used a pencil eyeliner instead of a liquid. It was WAY too thick, and it transferred to the top of my eyelid within an hour. When I left I got in the car and started crying because it was only a few hours before prom and I had to go take pictures with my friends soon. I went home and tried to fix the horrendous mess she made on my face, but didn't have time. All I can say is thank you to my friends for still going with me when I looked like Donald trump after he got punched in both eyes. I would never recommend this place if you need makeup done. read more

I have a friend who works here, Natalie S. I went to get my hair done the other day. The store is super cute. Its in a little strip mall so you might miss it but I definitely recommend going in! The woman who work there are super nice and they do an awesome job! Especially Natalie S. She really does a great job and she is super friendly. She makes you feel very welcomed and really listens to your opinions, but offers her advice about your cut and color. On some nights they even have a massage therapist there, you can make appointments with her as well. I definitely recommend going here!!! read more

I have had my share of BAD hair cut/colors/experiences over the years, which has made me very reluctant to go somewhere new. Once I found Teresa, I realized I was never going to have to go anywhere else again! Anything I show her I am wanting to do with my hair, comes out exactly as I pictured when she is done. I happened upon Maestros about 3 or 4 years ago. I have naturally curly hair so it's not easy finding someone that knows how to cut my hair. I got lucky finding Linda Pride. When entering the salon the receptionist always greeted me quickly and with a smile offering me a drink while waiting for my appointment. Linda was prompt and very professional. I always trusted her ideas when it came to my cut and color. I'm writing this in past tense because I have moved from the area and now trying to find a new hairdresser comparing them all to Linda. dont recommend this place. i know someone who went, and they wanted highlights and they had gone to the same place recently to get a haircut. lady said she never had her down for highlights, when the person i know had called and said they wanted highlights. the lady dyed over her hair dark brown almost black which is not anything close to what she asked for. turned out with a green tint. this is not what they asked for. lady did not even apologize when they had said they called for highlights. it wasn't even me and i'm furious. read more
