Villa Byron Suites consider themselves a vacation apartment; it's a two-story building with a small but luxurious courtyard. The two ladies in the office were very professional & courteous. I arrived around 1:40pm, check-in is 4pm but they let me go to my room anyway. My apartment was upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom. FYI it was fully furnished w/ a dinning table & sofa, which was also a futon. Kitchenette, reg size refrigerator, real silverware, glassware & plates etc. They do provide you with towels & wash cloths. Also they have a washer & dryer on site but if it's occupied there is a laundromat a block down the street that the locals use. PROS: 3 blcks from the beach 2 blcks from Ocean Dr(restaurants & bars) Bus stop at the end of the block(free trolly stops by) 5 blcks from Walgreens Free side street parking CONS: No room service but there is a small snack stand in the main office No pool on site All in all I was very satisfied with my experience. If i ever go back to Miami Beach I will be staying there again

WARNING: Filthy, Dishonest, and Manipulating Reviews -- Do Not Stay Here…read more We booked this property (listed under multiple names -- Byronessa Miami Beach, Byron Avenue Suites, Villa Byron Suites -- all the same address: 7320 Byron Avenue) through Booking.com, trusting a high overall rating. What we found on arrival had nothing to do with that rating. The apartment reeked of a strong chemical odor the moment we walked in. The bedding on the sofa had visible stains -- we were disgusted at the thought of sleeping in it. The bathroom window had visible mold. The sink drain was corroded and caked with buildup. The door hinges were rusted and the doors didn't close properly. It was already evening, with no realistic way to find and check into somewhere else that same night, so we were stuck there one night before relocating the next morning at our own expense. The host later claimed -- in writing, to us and to Booking.com -- that he'd personally asked us that morning whether everything was fine, and that we'd confirmed it was. That conversation never happened. We reported the problems to Booking.com the same day we found them, nothing more, nothing less. We asked for a refund for the nights we didn't use. He refused. He'd previously written that he'd refund us if the unit got rebooked to someone else -- and the public booking calendar for those exact dates went from "1 left" to "sold out" within days of us leaving. He kept our money and, it appears, got paid twice for the same nights. Here's the part that made us dig further: we found a screenshot of this host messaging a different guest, telling her to leave only a 10-star rating, or no review at all if she couldn't give the maximum. That explains a lot. Cross-check the reviews on this listing across platforms and you'll find a cluster of suspiciously similar 5-star reviews, all posted within about a three-week window in February, using nearly identical phrasing -- "super clean and spotless," "very clean, comfortable, and well maintained" -- word for word, from supposedly unrelated guests, each getting the exact same templated "thank you for your 5-star review " response from the owner. Meanwhile the more honest, independent reviews scattered across Agoda, Kayak, and elsewhere consistently describe the same mold, dirt, and broken AC that we saw ourselves. We've filed complaints with Booking.com, TripAdvisor's content integrity team, and EU consumer protection authorities, and we're pursuing a chargeback with our bank. Don't let the star average fool you -- read the actual reviews, not just the number, before you book anything at this address.

Would not honor original price, no matter how high up the management chain I went. No service at all. I get this is not a hotel, but I would expect some minimum service. When my son got sick with diarrhea and we ran out of TP, the front desk refused to give me any. Room has kitchen, but not even salt is provided. Good luck trying to get new towels. The hotel runs out of chairs on the beach by 9am. There's no where close to enough for everyone. So be prepared to get your towel and belongings very sandy. Partial sea views rooms can only see the sea if you hang one foot over your balcony. TVs don't work. And if you need help, guess what... Pros: The rooms are otherwise nice and clean The beach is decent, except for the Portuguese Man o War we had visit and clear the entire beach for several hours. The hotels next door are closed and dilapidated, so that means less people on the beach.

It was very spacious, and I loved how it had two bathrooms, with two sinks in the master bathroom. I also loved how the refrigerator came with an ice maker. The decor was simple but nice, and everything was so clean. I really enjoyed the long mirrors for pictures. For $20 a day you got parking in the garage, or you could have parked on the street for free, but coming in late at night there was no parking, so paying the $20 a day was good. The rooftop pool had an amazing view as well. The one thing I didn't like about the condo was they had a nice tub, but the inside looked like it was peeling badly so I didn't bother to use it. The other problem I had was I paid for late checkout, but I guess it wasn't communicated with management so in the middle of getting dress someone came in on us, which was kinda scary, and I was frustrated because when I told them I paid for late checkout they kept telling me I didn't and they didn't have any record, but thank God I keep my proof of receipt. I showed them and they apologized, but how the whole situation concurred was a little much. Other than that, the condo was close to a lot of things, which was good, and it was quiet.

Quiet, secure, restaurants galore within a few minutes walk, the beach virually across the street. The jacuzzi, essetially just off the rear balcony, is a terrific amenity, especially at night when you can soak under the stars. There's also a pool and small gym. Staff was excellent. Easy check in and check out. Good communication and response. Apartment is well furnished and supplied. Furnishings are not high end, but very nice all the same. Highly recommended.
