I am ashamed to say I do not come here as much as I should be. This place is so wonderful and just not their inventory, the staff is so helpful and reliable. Todd in particular saved me, his expertise was on full display when I came to him with the worst possible situation. I needed an outfit with no time for alterations and my body type isn't exactly common. He took that challenge and found me THE perfect fit no alterations needed. This place was amazing! I've been nagging my fiance to check here for our upcoming beach nuptials, and finally managed to find a weekend morning to take the quick ride from Chicago to take a look. Somehow, late in the season, Ira managed to find the ONE light colored 3-piece suit left in exactly my fiance's size in the vast warehouse-like space by eyeballing his size, and the best part? $109 for the whole suit! The stock and prices are great. Not only did my fiance find a nice suit, he also found a long-sleeved white dress shirt for $16, a couple of belts for $10 each, a pair of dress shoes for $55, a long-sleeved cotton button down shirt for $12, and a few pairs of shorts for $15. Practically wedding ready plus a few bonus items for less than $300! You can definitely find recognizable brand names here at a good price, and the clothing is all of good enough quality to last longer than the low price tag would lead you to believe. It's a suit store for men and they have some clothing for young men and boys, they also offer few varieties of Polo's, Hawaiian shirts, vests and light sweaters. Currently they are moving to a new location and you can get alot of decent quality suits, separates, shoes and more for very cheap. I got a spring colored Chaps tie on clearance for $5. Designer men's belts as low as $9.99. Many attractive suits on sale for 40-70% depending on the material, designer cuff links as low as $14.99 and the deals go on and on. I bought a Petrocelli Man's suit first day of the 2019 tent sale. The color black. The suit coat no need for alteration. The pants required alteration to inseam 30. 10 working days to get the suit. I could not find the alteration ticket. No info in their database. Their salesperson--male-IRA---and the female master tailor--no help. My recourse: IL Attorney General Office to cut through the SHIT!! No Ticket----flexibility---the custormer is always right--Not with this company!!! With seething animus!! Walked into Suits 20/20 a few days back, picked up a suit a hour before closing. Had ordered some touch ups on the pant, wouldn't be ready for another five days. Long story short, came in the next morning at 10am to exchange out the suit. Ian would not exchange out my suit, Customer service is the most important part of any business. We have never been to this outlet store before and decided to check it out... During the Memorial Day weekend, they were having a tent sale. The prices were unbelievable!!! Whenever you need an inexpensive suit people tell you that your only hope is Men's Wearhouse. I bought my first suit from there when I was 20. Several years later I finally needed to buy more suits for a job and I was so put off by the abrasive attitude of the salesman that I left the store and opted for separates from Sears. I decided to give them another chance last week because I need a new suit for a wedding next weekend but eventually I left in frustration after the guy refused to understand that there was no way in hell I was going to spend three hundred dollars on a suit with pleated pants no matter how nicely the jacket fit me and, well, I suppose I could go on about that experience but it doesn't really matter except that this idiot in an oversized suit that made him look like a walking mattress with glasses is what propelled me to Niles, IL to check out Suits 20/20. I found exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted. The saleswoman was super nice and not pushy. She listened to what I wanted instead of telling me what I wanted and, as she could see that I was under 50, she only showed me suits with flat front trousers. I never realized that buying a suit could be so stress-free. It was a great experience so far. I still need to pick the suit up and I've got my fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan this week because my backup plan for the wedding I'm attending next week is a very colorful kimono that's currently being shipped to me. (Oh Mary, don't ask!) A great experience and worth the drive, though next time I'll try to schedule my visit so I can be back in the city before 94 and Elston both turn into parking lots. read more

This is THE place to buy a suit. You tell them what you want and how much you're looking to pay, and they'll match you up. Alterations are professionally done on site. I bought a black Italian suit, alterations, a Calvin Klein shirt, and two ties and was out the door for a very fair price. The accessories aren't quite as value-priced as the suits... the prices on the suits are what get you in the store, and I'm guessing they make back some money on belts, ties, cuff links, etc. A good selection of shoes, some mainstream, some "interesting" at very good prices, though sizes are occasionally limited. For the record, those talking about wild colored blazers and bands buying clothes here, another great story is that veteran channel 7 sportscaster Tim Weigel (RIP) used to shop here for all his colorful blazers that he wore on the air. read more

I could have bought something from Banana or Express but the quality of their product compared to what Suits 20/20carries isn't that far apart. The staff here is attentive and professional, something you won't find often at chain retailers. Every time I've come by Gerald has been there and every time he can gauge my dimensions just by taking one quick look. Within 20 minutes I had a suit, a proper shirt, all my accessories (tie-bar, cufflinks, belt, socks), and I was on my way back to work. It's a pretty logical decision: Buy a suit that you will wear into the ground for a great price that looks good, too - or, buy an expensive suit that you will wear into the ground that looks good. So, when the time comes for another suit that gets the job done, every time, I'll be coming right back here. (Also! The tailors here have historically been spot on with any alterations). read more

The suit I got with the alterations was fitted perfectly and looked great. Robert, who helped me get the suit fitted, was very nice and recommended a great looking suit. Much better prices and service than Nordstrom Rack and Macy's for suits, ties, shirts, everything you need. Probably the best place to get a suit in Chicago. Awesome selection, price ranges from cheap to expensive (not too expensive, obviously). The staff are fantastic; helpful and knowledgeable and are sure to see you through the entire process. They want to make sure that you have everything you need before you walk out that door, if you tell them up front of what you're looking for and the price range, they will gladly help you out. I've already gone there twice, both are weddings. In fact, for one of them, buying a suit from them was cheaper than renting a tux (heck, even their tux collection is decent and the value is pretty good). Whew! My son tried on his suit he just wore a couple months ago and both his sleeves and pants were short. He needed it the the next day!!! We went to 20/20 right at open and Raphael met us at the door. He helped us find a suit in no time. He measured my son by eye walking over to the suit section and he was pretty spot on. He never took out a tape measure until it was time to find a shirt. We ended up also getting a dress shirt, socks, bow tie, reversible belt and pocket square. All for a little over $200 AND we were in and out in 30 mins. Raphael was friendly, teaching my son how to hang and care for his suit and so easy to work with. What a relief and ultimately a great experience. I would've given them a 5 star but while Raphael was awesome, we didn't get that same feel from everyone there. read more

Very pleasant experience purchasing a suit here. You are able to feel relaxed, learn about each suit and why it will fit you, try on a wide assortment, and are even encouraged to ask questions. It doesn't stop there though, they take the time to tailor your suit to your body and teach you about care; to elongate the life of the high quality suit you are purchasing. The cost was quite reasonable for the quality of the suit and the service received. Our salesman was Ira F. He noted that he has 53 years of experience and it showed. He knew the old styles, the new styles, and had an idea of what would and wouldn't be 'in' long enough to be worth buying. Very mild mannered, smiled the whole time, and was never pushy. I picked up a suit from here that I was really looking forward to wearing, I tried it on at home and found a small hole in the suit jacket. I tried to see if they would replace the coat and they refused. So now I've spent $300 on a suit with a hole in it and will definitely not be going back based on the horrible customer service I received. Didn't even have the suit in my possession for 24 hours. I'm absolutely disgusted, appalled, and infuriated at how this situation was handled. Oh, the icing on the cake, Linda (who was telling me they couldn't replace or return the suit) told me that from a customer standpoint, she understands where I'm coming from, but from a business standpoint, there's nothing she could do. I used to shop at another store, and every suit they sold either buttons fell of, or seams came loose and every zipper without fail broke too. Then I was blessed with Suits 20/20! The seamstress was so amazing I bought her flowers, and man my clients love my suits. Look don't bother shopping anywhere else for a suit, you'll either pay too much or get inferior quality.
