First time in a Suitsupply and bought a dress shirt and wool pants. I was coming from the Men's Shop at Nordstrom's in Tysons Corner Center, and every part of the experience at Suitsupply in the Galleria was superior. First, the greeter at Suitsupply immediately said hello and explained the process to me (I'd been ignored at Nordstrom's until I asked an associate for help - which is sometimes fine if you're browsing, but I knew exactly what I needed.) Second, I worked with Khalil at Suitsupply, and he was outstanding: his expertise and knowledge around the fitting; his demeanor - not trying to sell me, helping me find what would be the best look for me; his passion for the clothes. Suitsupply also had a wider range of neck sizes - I wasn't sure if I needed the 17", 17.5", or 17.75" (which they had in stock, unlike every other place I'd visited). Third, when I settled on the pants, Khalil measured and marked where they needed to be altered. Alterations were completed in-house, and after 15 minutes or so, were completed to perfection. I tried the shirt and pants on again before leaving (the shirt I bought at Nordstrom's needed to be altered and will be ready in about a week.) I highly recommend the Tysons' Galleria Suitsupply and Khalil in particular - exactly the type of person you want to work with - skilled and knowledgeable, wants you to look your best, not trying to sell you on a garment, and a truly nice person. Went to get a suit for a wedding...out of stock suit so it had the be "custom" made...mind you they took no measurements, they just had me try on a pair of different pants and hemmed them and then said they would take out an inch off a stock 44R jacket. So I and ordered on Jul 3...said it would be 2 weeks...3 weeks later with no notification, I called to ask the status and was told the suit arrived 10 days ago...went in today and suit was improperly made, pants too short and the jacket was still too tight...their response: we can remake the suit and have it for you in 4 weeks! Wedding is in 2 weeks! Now, no suit! Shitty service...shitty product! read more

My boyfriend has purchased several items from this location. He has purchased multiple coats, custom suits, sweaters, and pants etc. The staff recognized him because of his purchases. In the past we were assisted by James. James was amazing, but he has left the company. We stopped by this evening to buy another custom suit. His measurements were already on file and we just needed to select the fabric. He quickly selected the fabric but the associate explained that we should make an hour appointment and return for the fitting. He definitely meant well and likely wanted us to take our time making the selection, but we are busy people and just wanted to get it done. We left without ordering the suit and will likely return when we have time. This location is well stocked and we receive very good service. read more

My fiancé and I visited to find a summer suit for him, and I can't recommend Erdic (sp?) enough. He was funny, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. The staff, in general, were so sweet and friendly. When we returned to pick up the suit, Erdic even remembered us! Most of my fiances suits come from SuitSupply, they have always delivered quality. I understand if the experience can vary from employee to employee, but my experience working with Edric to get custom fitted for a new suit was fantastic. He started from ground zero with me on styles, colors and material preferences and then moved into sizing and try-ons. He also had a really down to earth, relaxing nature that made it really easy to ask questions and find what I wanted. I ended up paying about $1500 for the jacket, pants and a new shirt, but the fit and overall experience was worth every penny. It took about 1 hour for consultation + fitting and then 20 minutes for the final fitting a few days after. One recommendation to management: There isn't really any guidance for a new customer walking in, but you all have a QR code system for checking in/waitlist. Make it more clear and simple for people to use that, instead of having one person walk around frantically with an iPad trying to find people that need to check. Seems that the majority of negative reviews are due to the time management of servicing people. read more

I went to SuitSupply in Tysons two weeks ago to purchase a couple of suits. I found styles I liked, although one wasn't available in my size. I was fitted for alterations on the first suit and told it would be ready by Monday (this was on the prior Wednesday). I also selected a shirt, checked out, and paid a total of just over $2,600. I was told to return Monday to pick up suit #1 and be fitted for suit #2. I didn't make it back until Tuesday. After waiting for an hour, the staff told me they couldn't locate my second suit or the shirt. After another 30 minutes, I told them I'd just take the first suit and requested a refund for the rest. The manager initially denied I had ordered two suits, then--after realizing his mistake--blamed the Trump tariffs for shipment delays. I pointed out (1) the tariffs hadn't gone into effect yet, and (2) I had a delivery receipt showing the items arrived at their store Friday. At that point, he said he would process the refund and didn't want to hear any more. Today, I finally tried on the suit I did take home--and the alterations were completely wrong, off by inches in the wrong direction. Do yourself a favor: stick with J. Press or Brooks Brothers. Even Jos. A. Bank offers better service. read more

I've been going to Suit Supply for approximately five years now and today was by far the best experience I've had thanks to James. For the most part, customer service at Suit Supply is good as they are attentive and mostly knowledgeable about their product. However, where James set himself apart from the rest was the effort he took during my waistcoat customization and that he was the first Suit Supply stylist who didn't make me feel like he was selling me something. In the past, I've inquired about custom waistcoats and the stylist I was paired up with made me feel like there was really nothing to customize, or they never inquired further with me on my options. There were several times where I just ended up not getting anything. I was never provided the level of attention and education that James did. I actually learned several things today about waistcoats and that was all due to James. I now know THIS is how Suit Supply service should be, and from this point on, James is my stylist. For those who make an appointment at Tysons Corner Suit Supply, I highly recommend you make an appointment with James. read more

I write this review as I sit in the parking lot fuming after walking out of the store after a 90 minute wait for pant alterations. The wait would have been even longer if I had stuck around. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait, fast forward 90 minutes later and a crowd of about 15 clients including myself were called off the waitlist right before the store closed, and yet no one could help us. Totally wasted a Sunday evening. I've been to other Suitsupply locations, and had great experiences, love their product. Not this location. I visited this location Saturday June 29th looking to purchase a suit I have had my eye on for some time now. For the first 15 minutes after arriving, nobody said a word to me and my girlfriend. Employees looked me in the eye and continued to breeze by and say nothing. Luckily I recognized someone on staff from a previous store he used to work at and he greeted me and informed me to check in via the QR code. After checking in I still had to go initiate with someone so they would acknowledge my presence. After initiating that conversation with another sales associate I was finally taken care of. As I was being taken care of I was given a foul smelling dress shirt to try on. I understand designating a certain number of pieces for try-on purposes as to not deplete stock on brand new pieces, but that was unacceptable. Ironically, as I was completing the purchase, the whole entire staff up front is all smiles and wants to have a conversation. When they are the ones who never greeted me or said a single word about checking in. I will be visiting the Georgetown location for the foreseeable future, I was greeted immediately upon entry, checked in and I worked with a sales associate who was a delight from start to finish. read more

They drop the ball on your stuff way too much. The staff seem overwhelmed and the store is understaffed. Expect long wait time even with an appointment. It's just not a good customer experience. Extremely disappointed in this place. Came in asking for a custom suit fitting; was talked into an off the rack item. When it showed up, it didn't fit at all and fell apart immediately. I came to SuitSupply for a wedding suit and was pleasantly surprised at the experience. It felt very high end, and all the staff were very helpful. I came in a couple ties to look at options, ending up going with a custom 3-piece suit. My first visit I knew I was not going to purchase but we went through all the options and while there was a little pressure at the end to move forward (it is a business after all) after saying I wasn't ready to purchase anything at the time I was given no trouble at all. When I came back to make the purchases, I had the same associate as before and he remembered me, and quickly got to work helping measure and fit me with the suit. He gave me some recommendations as we went and the suit ended up perfect. The quality of the suit itself is very good, and it should be as it is not the cheapest suit out there (but also not the most expensive one either). The customizations you get with their custom suits are fun and I got a lot of great comments from people during the event! I can't wait to wear it again for my next event this Fall! read more

Walked in with the intention to spend 1k+ on suits. Was told I had to be on a waitlist for 1.5 hours. After getting off the waitlist I was assigned an employee to help me out. The employee didn't even greet me even though he was in front of me. After 5 minutes the employee finished working with other clients and sprinted past me and acted like I wasn't there. The entire time 5 other employees loitered at the front desk and no one assisted me. I will not be buying from this company. read more

UPDATE post-1/12 reply from Suit Supply: While Suit Supply's response may sound like they are interested in correcting a very wrong situation created by a combination of an extremely anti-consumer return policy compounded by dishonest sales associates who are more interested in taking your money than providing valuable service, after engaging with the company they are still refusing to refund my payment...for an order that was never received. Unacceptable. Their words are hollow and you should not give this store or any of their other locations your business. As an aside, the folks at Indochino will deliver you a perfectly-fitting suit of your own customizations for less and be extremely accommodating in the process. Go there instead. I am a retiree of the United States Armed Forces that paid a visit to your Tysons Galleria location on the evening of February 14th, 2019.  I was a little reluctant about reporting the situation. However, after looking at some of the Yelp reviews recently, I became encouraged to speak up! To try to make a long story short, I entered the location at approximately 6 p.m. that evening and I was greeted by an associate of Middle Eastern descent, so it seemed.  I made an inquiry about the Double-Breasted Washed Khaki Blazer (see photos below.)  The associate asked what my size was and I mentioned 40R.  He was kind enough to take that size from the rack and assist me with putting it on.  We had some brief dialogue and I asked if a military discount was offered here.   His reply was no. The issue that I had was his disposition changed when he perceived that I was not going to make a direct purchase. Therefore, he disengaged, to the point where I asked him about the other suits and merchandise in the store, and he did not bother to show nor explain anything else.  From a customer service standpoint, I find that highly unprofessional at best! To add insult to injury, I took the liberty of taking a picture of the tag and blazer.  Moments later, he and his two other cohorts started snickering and laughing amongst themselves.  This inappropriate behavior gave the perception that just because I could not afford or pay for the item at the time, they found that to be a laughable concept.  Shortly thereafter, I calmly walked out the store, and even stated "have a good evening."  All three men still continued laughing as I exited. I have been in the realm of customer service for 22 years, and I am disgusted that Suit Supply would even hire individuals of this character and condone this sort of behavior!  My experience Thursday evening was rather consistent with some of the horrible reviews I read on Yelp.  Unacceptable!   I certainly will not be returning!  Perhaps Indochino would appreciate my business more! We came to suitsupply to get my husband's suit for our wedding. We came here 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding. (The expectation was to have the suit done in 3 days) The suit wasn't ordered in the time we needed so it was rushed ordered. Once we got the suit the week of the wedding it was the wrong suit. So why 5 stars for this review? Here is why: James KNEW I was in full panic mode when we came in and realized the suit was wrong. James assured me that my wedding would be perfect and he would make everything right for us. He continuously talked to us and re assured us. James took the time to understand our situation as well and provided us excellent customer service. James did a great job representing suit supply and he won over a forever customer. James gave us results, and we were able to have our suit altered and here the day before the rehearsal. It couldn't have worked out more perfectly. Plus my husband did look phenomenal. I purchased a Suitsupply suit a couple years ago in a different area and had a great experience, with a great salesperson, and have been really happy with the suit. I wore it basically into the ground at work and still felt like I was getting a good value and good material. This experience was the total opposite and is a shame because it does feel like Suitsupply has gone downhill. Minor requests seemed like inconveniences and the staff seemed disorganized, confused, late, and rushed. All of that defeats the purpose of coming to a place like Suitsupply when there are other better and newer options to consider. I could see perhaps trying another Suitsupply just to see if it was a bad experience here, but I won't be back to this location. read more

I normally shop at the suitsupply in Georgetown but I was in Tyson's corner and thought I would give this location a try, that was a big mistake. I walked in and did one lap around to see what suits were on display. I then stood patiently a few feet from the checkout desk were 3 employees could clearly see me for over 15 mins without one person asking if I needed any help, it was pathetic. Multiple employees made eye contact with me and never said a word, I never experienced such poor service before especially at a place with a good reputation like suitsupply. Great selection of suits at moderate / reasonable price point. Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I needed a suit for a wedding on short notice and they delivered. Materials are top-notch, and alterations were not only spot-on, but also as inexpensive as I've come across for such quality, and more than timely. What other suit store promises your alterations in 3 days or less? The Dutch company's business model is a game-changer. They also have great ties/shirts. I will also say much of the experience has to do with who helps fit you there. To that end, Cris was excellent. I am a long time Suite Supply customer buying online, in NYC, in HK and right here near my home in NOVA over the past 5-7 years. At first mainly suites but now more and more upscale casual. To tell you how much I am brand loyal, whenever I go to a suite supply location, I make it a point to wear something from Suite Supply. Yea I know that is geeky. Went into Galleria to perform a simply transaction, of exchanging a sweater for a larger size that I had gotten for my son. No other customer in the store except me. Salesman greets me and quickly finds the larger size for me and calls on the manager from his ear piece to complete the transaction. No words explaining anything to me as he departs the area while picking up the phone as it rings. I continue to wait at the counter shifting to the right and left as 2 more salesmen come and go from the counter shepherding customers through those transactions. I continue to wait when I have an epiphany that I must now have contracted a super power of being invisible with not one salesman ever really taking me seriously. So this invisible man in me elected to simply leave my return behind and take the larger size and walk out. I drove over an hour for a fitting. When I arrived, I waited nearly 20 minutes without service. Wow.

So I needed a last minute bow tie for my wedding. I have a few but wanted something fresh. I walked into the Galleria location and immediately saw a mannequin with the sharp thick bow tie I was looking for. The gentleman that helped me tied it for me and did a great job. I honestly was going to also purchase the white tuxedo to match but ended up going with another designer. The service here is excellent though. They can usually have suits transferred from other locations as well. I purchased one that they had transferred from their NYC location. read more

Ok, I checked the reviews here when I first heard of Suitsupply and they were less then appealing. But I decided to make my own decision and I am glad I did. I walked in on a week day and was greeted by a "Fitter" named Brandon. I don't know if that is what his technical position is but "Fitter" is what I call him. First off, I don't like being greeted immediately when walking in a store, it makes feel preyed upon. However, Brandon had perfect timing ( about 30 seconds to a minute ). He helped me try some styles of suits, he listened to what I was looking for and made some subtle suggestions. He was very courteous and exactly what you would expect from a high quality store. Granted, the first visit I didn't even buy anything and I told him so. But that did not change he professionalism. We can't forget Mr. T, the tailor that is professional, blunt if you want the real truth, and also cordial to the people that might not like the truth. Me, I love bluntness and he could read it. He told me exactly what I needed to know and I appreciated that. Now, the people that might of had a bad experience before should honestly give them another try. They are apparently under new management and are serious about making sure you have a pleasant shopping experience. And you would be seriously hard-pressed to find a better team than Brandon and Mr. T. I have bought two suits since and more later. read more
