So this is a seafood place that is kind of off the beaten path in Nogales. I've eaten here three…read moretimes in the last three years. I've never gotten sick and the seafood is really fresh, and the staff is very very sweet. That being said, getting here can be sketchy unless you have a driver. Don't plan on walking here from your hotel. That would be a poor idea and not the restaurant's fault, it is an issue with the area but no that is a fact of life here. If you don't speak Spanish, please make sure someone in your party does as the staff, including management, the times I've been there do not speak English or at least very halting English. Proportions are good and the chips are made on site. My favorite dish is probably their grilled octopus and the Seabass was yummy as well. I stay away from the prawns just as a matter principal so I can't tell you how those were. Every time I've been there someone at the table has gotten crab legs and they've enjoyed those immensely. I did get some scallops this year that were super gritty, but not an issue with a restaurant at all really and the taste was buttery and the texture Perfect, just a little/lot gritty. There are a number of places for gringos to eat in Nogales and once you get tired of the same steakhouse that everyone goes to, this is absolutely a good alternative. Word of caution, as a general point, drink beer out of a bottle or out of a pint glass with no ice. Do not drink anything with ice in Nogales. Really really. if you fail to heed my advice, please send me a note about how sick you got and how right I was so that anybody else reading this will know not to get ice in their drink regardless of the location.

Different waiters kept coming up to my purse that was behind me. CAREFUL because my airpods somehow went missing while I ate. When I tracked them with my phone, it said the airpods were still at the restaurant. I asked the staff for them and they said they didnt have them. I left but continued to track them. The airpods where at the restaurant until closing time then moved locations after the restaurant closed, which means someone from the staff had them with themselves for the rest of their shift and took them home with them. Me fui pero continue buscandolos con mi telefono. Los airpods estuvieron en el restaurante hasta la hora que el restaurante cerró, y se movieron de lugar después de que el restaurante cerro. Lo que significa que un miembro del staff los tomó, los tuvo durante su turno de trabajo y llevó a su casa al final del día. Les di una estrella pqe no se puede dar menos.

Truly, I had no idea what they were talking about. When we arrived and I saw their menu, I only saw two types of tamales - both savory. I ordered 2 tamales de rajas (poblano peppers), and the server gave us a heads up that they were sweet. What? Wow. Who would have thought that a tamal de rajas could be sweet, but it works! The tamales were made of sweet corn and the sauce was creamy and with plenty of peppers and onions. I really enjoyed the dish. The space was nice and open with a cute kids area in the back. I am still thinking about those tamales and wish I had the recipe!

The staff was beyond amazing, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to make sure we had a great experience. The décor is exactly what you'd hope for in a neighborhood Italian restaurant: cute, simple, and cozy. But the real showstopper is the food. We ordered one pizza, half Supreme and half White, and I honestly can't tell you which side I loved more. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the toppings were fresh and generous without being overwhelming, and every bite was packed with flavor.
