Went there for an alignment.. They SAID that the cam bolt in the rear was incorrect.. Strange, because that was the original bolt that came with the car. Amanda... the service tech at the counter, didn't want to discuss the issue with me. I asked if they could fix it, she said they had to get a quote, order the part, and then they could fix it. She then told me she had too much going on, and call her if I wanted to come back after it got fixed. She walked away abruptly. read more

I was a loyal customer for years and have watched the quality of service diminish over the past few years. Today was the last straw when I attempted to purchase a set of tires which I have purchased here in the past to mount on my new wheels, which they have done in the past. (same tires and wheels!) I was informed that the "Tech" stated that they do not do that size tire. Upon contacting Sullivan Tire in Wareham, the tires have been ordered and scheduled to mount and install! I can't believe I am writing this. For years I have received excellent service from Sullivan tire in Fairhaven. Ernie was my favorite employee. On 10/03/2025 I stopped in because the car indicator said low tire pressure. The female employee said it was probably due to the weather changes. I was ready to go home and she said she would put air in the tires. I even mentioned how great it was to have a female mechanic. She noticed a construction screw in the tire tread and said I would need a new tire so come back tomorrow morning as she would need to order one. The screw was in the tread not the wall. Even though she put air in the tire the indicator was still showing low pressure it was late afternoon but I thought Town Fair tire probably has a tire. Not only did they have plenty of tires they repaired my tire for $$$13.23!!! Because I bought tires from them in 2012 I am on the plan to fix tires for free. I only paid for tpms sensor and balance. Needless to say I am no longer a fan of Sullivan tire in Fairhaven. read more

As dishonest and unethical as can be. My son is a student nearby and brought his car for a headlight replacement. They said that there was a serious electrical issue and charged him $300 dollars. His front turn signal was not working and they said that there was another serious issue and that it would be close to $1000 dollars to fix it. When he came home the following week, I fixed the "$1000 dollar issue with a screwdriver and two minutes work. My mechanic looked at the "$300 dollar repair" and told us that he did not see any work done other than replacing the bulb. Considering legal action at least. read more

I had an appointment for 9:00 am for a tire rotation, wheel balance, and alignment inspection, dropped my car off before 9:00 and, left, came back and hour and a half later and they hadn't even started working on it yet. I complained, "why even make an appointment if you're not going to adhere to it?" I asked how much longer and they said up to three hours. I left and went home, which I was not planning to do. Three hours after I dropped my car off they finally called to say it was ready. For a tire rotation and wheel balancing-- which I had scheduled an appointment for. I was recently told that this place is notorious for "Holding your car hostage". Word to the wise, if you're planning to use this place, plan to leave your car and not get it back for several hours. read more

I really give Sullivan Tire in Fairhaven, MA rating as -0. I urge women not to go there. They are not honest. I am a 69 year old women who took my car there for a flex pipe for a 2014 Hyundai Elantra and to check on an oil leak. A little over $2000 later they used the wrong pipe and damaged work previously done at a different location And they blamed the issue on other location. I took my car back to the 1st place and they took pictures of the work Sullivans did. I went back several times and they finally installed the correct flex pipe but damaged the new Catalytic Converter the 1st place did honor the Catalytic converter but not labor. So I then had to pay another $1045 to the 1st place to fix what Sullivans did. The manager Kevin, called me about 3 weeks ago after I posted a review on Sullivans site regarding their service asking for my receipts because he was sorry and was going to "make me whole". I did make copies of all receipts and dropped them off but still have not heard back from them. read more

I had a service appointment to replace aging and damaged tires along with other repairs. I carefully researched the tires I wanted and selected tires based upon multiple testing facilities. The tires that were being replaced I found to be rather poor in braking and wet/dry performance & safety so I was careful to select tires that scored much better in both safety metrics. After dropping off the vehicle for service the next day, I was later called and told that Sullivan Tire is refusing to install anything other than run-flat tires. The available RFTs for my vehicle are much more expensive, but more importantly they have reduced braking & performance ratings over the tires that I selected which would result in less safety. I am very disappointed that the service technician would attempt to make an obvious up charge which in turn would reduce the safety of my vehicle. The technician knew exactly what vehicle I was bringing in and what tires I had ordered several days prior, but waited until the vehicle was in the shop and I was at home to attempt to force an up charge on the service. This very much appears a Bait & Switch Operation I reached out to corporate customer service with the above information and after 48 hours with no response I have to assume that corporate is okay with this behavior. read more

Avoid this place . Got 4 new tires on my Tacoma and they butchered my rims taking wheel weights off. Brought the truck back to show them what they did and the owned up to it but now it's my responsibility to find a place to get them fixed.. shouldn't of happened in the first place. My scedual is busy enough , now I have to go out of my way to find auto body place to fix damage they did.. It's like they used a screw driver to pull the weights off. Pretty upset scince my truck is fairly new and the level of unprofessionalism is absurd. Avoid Sullivan tire , there hacks UPDATE . After posting this got a call from Sullivan and brought my truck In and they repaired my rim gave my a spare to borrow and all is good ... glad their costomer service is great read more

The masters of the ol' bait and switch. They'll let you order tires, wait days for your appointment, then they call and say ooops, we don't have those tires, but we have more expensive ones that are that brand, and the others are 3 weeks out. They'll also find a million things broken and "gone" that will need immediate repair, like control arms, stabilizers, bushings, brake pads for front and back, all these things that anyone would know was a problem from driving it. Guess what? They're not a problem. Told the to put it outside, we're going somewhere else. Should've known better. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would do it. My experience here was terrible. I had been to another Sullivan tire location years ago and had a great experience so I expected the same. I had a slow leak in one of my tires so I tried to get it fixed. They said that I needed an appointment so I made one for later in the week. When i gave my name they asked if i had been before and I told him yes at another location many years prior. I then spelled my first name, he said yes, and booked my appointment. When I arrived they asked if I was staying or if I would come back. I asked how long it would be and they said at least an hour. I also confirmed my information and it became clear that they had booked me under someone else's account with the same last name. An hour and a half later I called to check on the status and they said it wasn't done. So I headed over at about 2 hours to see them moving the tire from my car to the work station. When I asked if it was ready they said almost and claimed it had been really hard to find the leak (yet I had seen them taking the tire away from the car like they were just starting). There was no apology for inconvenience. They acted as if this was normal. 2.5 hours for a leak and terrible customer service in general. I would never return to this location and I would likely not go to another Sullivan Tire since this left such a sour taste in my mouth. I highly recommend you finding somewhere else to go for your car needs. read more

We have brought several vehicles here over the years whether for a slow leak in a tire due to a nail or damage from an inexperienced driver nicking a curb or slamming into a pothole. Employees have always been polite and knowledgeable. The online scheduler is easy and convenient, but when I found myself needing a quick tire fix on a Saturday, they were able to squeeze me in. When my car needed a new set of tires, I was able to get the tires I wanted and they are helpful with processing the rebate. In all the times I have been there, I have never had to return with any issues or problems with their work. read more

I went for a front and rear wheel alignment just for them to try and charge me for a job they couldn't finish, I work in a garage myself and we never charge a customer for a failed attempt at something. Unknowingly I had a loose tire rod in the front end which should be fixed before doing a wheel alignment yet they didn't say anything to me about it and proceeded to do the front end which will just require me to have to get another alignment since that's how older BMW's are. I have a low suspension in my vehicle primarily in the rear end so I could understand why the rear couldn't be done but also doesn't mean charge me for the job. I am younger man which made me think they were just trying to get a quick buck out of me. I don't plan on going there again which is unfortunate since I live only a block or two away. read more

Tiffany I'm not sure why they would add rotors when it wasn't needed. My car has 35k miles. I did get my car fixed today at another shop. I had two sets of ceramic break pads with new calipers for the front tires for a total. Of $350. They said the calipers were junk and corroded because with kia's their made out of aluminum with steel pins which is asking for failure, however the rotors were still in great condition. So the way I see it is I saved a couple hundred by avoiding unnecessary repairs at Sullivan's tire. read more

My local Sullivan tire in Fairhaven Massachusetts came through for me again. Had a flat tire yesterday at about noon and brought the car in soon after. Despite the bad news that I had to replace four tires because the flat tire had really been shredded, I got the new tires installed the next morning by 830 so that I could drive to my daughter's wedding. Daniel and his staff could not of been more accommodating and have things work out for me any better. My sister had a nail in her tire and went to Sullivan's for a plug. The employee informed her that she had a slash in the sidewall and would need a whole new tire. She called her husband who wanted to see a picture of the tire. The employee took her to see the tire and couldn't seem to find said slash! Sleaze balls! After an unfortunate history with another local tire retailer, I tried Sullivan Tire in Fairhaven and have been going back ever since. They now service my wife's 2012 Toyota Sienna Minivan and my Subaru Crosstrek. I usually show up early on a weekday morning and they get me right in, honor whatever coupons I have (sometimes even providing an even better deal than the coupon) and get me out in a timely manner. If I need a ride to work, they handle that too. I have always found them friendly, honest and the work to be as expected. read more

I wanted to write a quick review because I have been going to Sullivan Tire in Fairhaven for many years now. I am always alone when I go into the shop - a 30-something woman - and the staff treat me with respect and kindness every time. They offer genuine smiles - even when breaking the bad news of your expensive repair :) I trust their opinion on my vehicle - a 2008 VW Rabbit. I go here for all of my oil changes and inspections and have had a couple larger jobs done (brakes, exhaust, oxygen sensor). Some of my friends tell me I could be paying less at a non-chain repair shop. Well, I don't know if that's true, but I'd rather pay a few more dollars and bring my car here even still because I've had a positive experience and know what to expect. Their waiting room is large, bright, comfortable and clean - so are their restrooms. They have free Wifi, so I can get work done while I wait. When I needed a major exhaust service (I mean I have a 2008 after all), they brought me into the bay to show me what was going on. I'll continue to come to this location until we move out of the area someday. read more

Recently we had a Problem with the Brake system in our VW. I have many years experience working on Vehicles and I just couldn't get the air out of the system to firm up the pedal. It seems this is an issue on this particular model. We took it to Sullivan and they thought we needed a new master cylinder ( I had replaced it a year earlier) I disagreed, but they talked me into it. That didn't fix the problem and they proceeded to change a rear caliper and 2 jumper hoses. The had the car for 3 days trying to repair the issue. At the end, they got the pedal much firmer, but the tech said he wasn't happy with it and they called me to come check it out. The end result was that they didn't charge me a nickel for any of the work. I was able to bleed the air out in my driveway that afternoon and haven't had an issue yet. I guess my point is that they were 100% honest with me and because they couldn't fix the issue, no charge. They also fixed a leaking fuel line for my wife at no charge at another location. Stand up guys and never tried to roll us. I bought them DD cards for trying so hard to get the problem resolved. I go there all the time now. read more
