The atmosphere of this wine shop is completely retro and fun. Great old records for sale, vintage clothes rack out back for some thrift shopping, fun and fresh bottles of wine to take home. We sat right at the bar next to the records were playing and the owner switched records frequently and always had something fun playing. The wine here was so much fun - as someone who works in wine sales it's always refreshing to see a bar changing what wines they serve and have something new open every day. They don't have a set wine list, i believe they just choose what they want when they want and display what they are serving by the glass on a shelf behind the bar. I love that idea so you can go often and always be able to try something new. I would have had some snacks along with my wine if we had not just come from lunch but i will definitely be back since this menu always changes with what is fresh. Here the chefs prepared everything right in front of us. The super authentic, approachable chefs answered all our questions about the menu, local ingredients and process. Each dish was layered with flavors and textures. Every dish was regular sized, no mini tastes here, no leaving hungry. Wine served complimented each course and Bettina (Cellardoor owner) pulled a couple of extra pours of different wines just for more comparisons. Very fun!
