Is the outdoor seating dog friendly for small dog?

We do allow small dogs on a leash outside. We have limited seating outside, only four tables. But as long as the dog is leashed and cleaned up after we don’t mind at all!

We stopped here last night with the kids after having wanted to stop for the longest time…read more(out-of-towners). The staff was very friendly, though there was an hourlong wait for an indoor table (definitely make reservations!) or 10 minutes for outside (which was a little surprising given how many open tables there were). Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were super cool with some really amazing gardens outside in full bloom and then the more darkly lit, warm and cozy, and open concept with a great view of the kitchen team hard at work. I was the only one at the table to get a cocktail, to which I chose the blueberry lemon drop. It was really well balanced with a nice blueberry flavor without being overpowering. My wife got a merlot, which she enjoyed. The kids both enjoyed their chocolate milk and strawberry lemonade. Food wise we started with a caesar salad, which was good but pretty mild in flavor. It could have used a little more parm and either more pop to the dressing or just more of it. My wife got the (gluten free) baked focaccia and the lobster bisque for her dinner. She was melting over the focaccia (which I agree was the flavor bomb though I admit the gf bread was a little gummy - not abnormal for gf bread though and didn't really bother me). The lobster bisque she found equally delicious. I also found it quite tasty though did find it a little thinner on the mouthfeel than maybe normal. My MIL got the mussels that she said were really tasty and we found were locally sourced. I got the short rib. It was a large chunk of extremely tender meat with some absolutely delicious mashed potatoes. The gravy was pretty solid for it though I would have preferred it with a little more beefy flavor than maybe the wine. The carrots were a little disappointing, if I'm being honest. They were cut into vastly different sizes, which led to some majorly uneven cooking and even the smallest pieces were still much too firm - not crunchy but not really tender beyond the first quarter inch or so. It was almost like the were par cooked whole and then chopped up after. Definitely atypical and not really up my alley for carrots. Overall, aside from a couple very minor misses, this place was absolutely a winner and I'm absolutely getting some brick oven pizza next time!

My wife and I each started with the Caesar salad. Then she had the halibut and I had the divers scallops. Both dishes were very good. Our server was training a new person, but she gave us extra attention. All warranted. Overall a very good experience. We'd come here again.

We are very glad that we finally made it here to enjoy some delicious woodfired pizza (my favorite…read morefood!) We started with a margarita - I got the spicy margarita and my wife got the special which was an orange cinnamon Margarita - she loved it and mine was excellent as well. Each was also a large serving - not in some tiny little glass for too much money as sometimes happens. We started with the buffalo roasted cauliflower, and we loved it. Too many times this dish is ruined by heavy breading for the cauliflower or having it be too oily and greasy. This one was lightly roasted and full of flavor served with a side of blue cheese dressing. Because it was happy hour (which is 4 to 630 on Thursday, Friday and Monday), we were able to order a two topping pizza for $17. The mushroom and ham topping was just right everything was cooked perfectly. We have our own Ooni Koda 16 pizza oven, and I make my own dough, so we're pretty particular about pizza. Everything about the pizza is just right though, sauce, toppings, and the bake in the pizza oven in the back. I'm definitely gonna be a regular here just for the pizza. We each got a glass of wine to have with the pizza, and my wife's white wine was pretty good, but my red had probably been open more than one or two days prior and wasn't especially great. I hope that the owners invest in a nitrogen in ear system of some sort - they're not expensive or hard to use. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and they helped us quickly get an order in before the end of happy hour which we appreciated. This is a fantastic and needed addition to the Kingfield / CV area

That being said, the male staff members are unbelievably sexist every time I go. I've gotten hit on by the bartender who proceeded to get my order wrong and tell the random man standing next to me that "chicks can be so god damn annoying" when I asked him to grab the drink I ordered from the fridge behind him. The bouncer told me a couple of days ago when i was at the front of the line that "with that kind of behavior you'll never find a husband." I don't know what behavior he was even referring to, but extremely disappointed by my experiences at the cage.

Old railroad tracks, working class roots, this old bar, an improv blues night and the audience, plentiful. Scrunchies still adorning the copper highlighted ponytails of overly tanned women in their thirties. Everyone slightly off and no one fashionable except the musicians, clearly high timing in a small town, fedoras just so. Cartoon lobsters with shades on, off brand track pants and the requisite new England lack of eye contact. How long have you been sitting on that barstool, sir - how many years? 7/8/11 This ain't new York city, or LA, no. Mr bluesman you are correct, here in this dark, seedy, working class dive where all that matters is your improvised words, notes, sonic bliss... Reverberate the two odd centuries of strife, of worn hands, of working the mills. Lewiston has the blues.
