The service here is unbelievably friendly. Very patient with explaining different dishes as our one friend is traveling to India soon and isn't well versed in the food. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Chicken Tikka masala was just right, palak paneer was one of my favorite versions I've had. Nice size paneer and the spinach was seasoned perfectly

This is my third visit to Suma's Kitchen. The food is delicious. The service is personal and friendly. The ambience is unique and pleasing. I had the dinner buffet on a Sunday night for a book signing and I had a great time at the restaurant. While the food was excellent, I would like to especially call out the chicken tikka masala, naan, lamb achari, garlic chicken and the mixed vegetable biryani. I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala so much, that I placed an additional take out order. Some of the dishes are unique to the restaurant like the burnt garlic chicken and majestic chicken. If you're lucky and catch one of the owners, Asim Shafi, in the restaurant, he may even take your request and belt out a Mehdi Hasan ghazal or an old Bollywood classic. One unique innovation, at the restaurant, is an electronic button to summon your waiter if you need service. What a great idea! They have vegetarian options like saag paneer, vegetable biryani and many others. Parking is plentiful and the place is kid-friendly. Excellent food, friendly service and exceptional entertainment (on occasion). What more can one ask from a local Pakistani/Indian restaurant?

Amazingly delicious food. Expensive but worth every penny. I wish portion sizes were more generous. But 5 stars without hesitation.

It was fabulous, spicy but not too hot, rich in flavor, tender pieces of chicken, crispy and crunchy when it needed to be and based on the other clientele I would say totally authentic.

The service was great, the food was amazing, and the space had a clean, modern vibe with stylish decor. The atmosphere was fantastic. Overall Ratings Restaurant 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Parking: Free Atmosphere The restaurant feels very open. The lighting and decor are thoughtfully done and truly impressive. Cleanliness also stood out--it was spotless. Service This place delivers five-star service at less than half the price. When they brought out new plates after we finished our appetizer, I was shocked--in the best way. Wow, wow, wow. And the owner lived up to everything my friend said--personable, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Since it was my first time, he even offered to play one of my favorite songs over the speaker. They genuinely make you feel like a guest in their home. What We Ordered -Chili Garlic Naan (Very good--not overly spicy at all. It's more of a mild to medium heat, very manageable.) -Vegetable Samosa (Very fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful.) -Goat Curry (Absolutely delicious--not overly oily like at some other places.) -Chicken Tikka Masala (Another standout dish, rich and flavorful.) Every dish blew me away. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. One note: if you don't want any spice, order mild. If you want mild to medium heat, go with medium. They're more than happy to accommodate your preference. Final Thoughts This is by far the BEST Indian restaurant I've been to in NJ. I just wish it was closer to where I live. I'd have no problem eating here every day--there are so many great options on the menu. At other Indian restaurants, I sometimes deal with heartburn or indigestion, but I didn't experience that here at all. The service is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the space is beautiful.

Human beings are funny that way. So for Father's Day, my wife booked a table for six at Mount Masala in Voorhees. This turned out to be an act of touching optimism. When we arrived on a Saturday night, only three other tables were occupied. We could have brought a small marching band and sat immediately. Still, the staff was warm, the room was pleasant, and we decided to order family style. Civilization occasionally gets things right. The sizzling chicken momo arrived first, hissing and steaming like a diva. Sadly, the spectacle outperformed the substance; it was essentially good food wearing a sequined jacket. The chicken tikka momo, however, was outstanding. They were tender dumplings smothered in a sweet, familiar tikka sauce that my boys attacked with an enthusiasm usually reserved for free money. My youngest ordered the chicken makai soup and delivered a concise, pro-level critique: "It's fine." My oldest enjoyed his tofu Manchurian, though his eyes kept wandering to better plates. The beef skinny noodles and chicken Hakku Bakku chowmein were massive and well-made, but they lacked personality. The chowmein tasted like a very good lo mein. Nothing wrong with that, just predictable. The undisputed star was the chicken choyla. It was smoky, spicy, and rich with mustard oil. If the other dishes were polite small talk, the choyla was the eccentric guest telling stories nobody had ever heard before. Everyone at the table kept reaching for it. As for the service, the staff was incredibly friendly but possessed a unique talent for vanishing. Despite the empty room, refilling water and securing extra napkins became a minor side-quest. But then the bill arrived: $120 for six people. These days, taking the family out can feel like financing a small yacht, so this felt like a genuine bargain. Mount Masala isn't perfect, but it's memorable. The choyla and the tikka momos gave me exactly what I've been hunting for: flavors that are unfamiliar, exciting, and well worth getting to know.
