I've been here a total of 3 times now, and while I think the work itself is good, there are a few things that have made me decide to not come back here. Positives -lashes lasted a long time -Carrie was wonderful at executing exactly what I wanted Negatives -Hygiene seems to be lacking. The lash tech did not wash/sanitize her hands before starting on me. I noticed she would leave to grab things occasionally or touch her phone, then continue working on me. My previous lash tech who I was with for 4+ years always hand sanitized before working on my eyes and if she needed to leave to grab something, she would sanitize again. -It also didn't seem like the hygiene cover was changed in between clients? I noticed it never looked fresh. This last time, there were holes on the cover. My previous lash place would always change the cover in front of me. -I've had my lashes done at dozens of salons before and I've never had this happen: every time I've gone to get my lashes done here, the bottom tape was always placed so close to my eye that it ends up hurting my eye. One of my eyes was so red and sore after this last experience. The tech is always quick to move the tape once I tell her it hurts, but there were times when she re adjusted and it was still poking my eye. Maybe it's just her technique but I've never had this issue before. Overall, I've been happy with the look and longevity of the lashes, which is why I came back. But after having my eyes poked and possibly scratched by the tape, and with the added fear of getting an eye infection from lack of hand hygiene, I think I'll try somewhere else next. read more

I came in for a full set and all of them fell off in just 8 days. Sumi Lashes is saying they fell off because my lashes are thin and blaming my pregnancy hormones, however, if you zoom into the picture of my eyes, you can clearly see that I have a lot of natural eyelashes. I paid almost $200 and they are not even refunding me and saying I can just come in for a new set with a decreased price, however that is super unfair, given the fact that the technician did a set for me that I did NOT want, but by the time she was done, it was too late to even get it fixed. I have been here twice to get a lash lift. Disappointed both times, I had two different girls and my lashes were over-curled and dried out both times. The first time I went they also got the solution in my eyelid which was extremely uncomfortable. I am now seeking help to get my lashes fixed as they appear shorter than before. Do not come here for a lash lift. I did do lip waxing which I was pleased with. This is about a week later. The salon did offer me a complimentary consultation and I asked for a partial refund they will only give me the refund if I change my review to 5 stars which I will not be doing. Don't come here for a lash lift!!! I am seeing someone else to have them fixed who says my lashes are damaged due to them using the solution incorrectly and she is shocked I was not advised about aftercare. read more

i really like the shop and the girls were super sweet! it was clean and pretty inside and very quiet. its been about three days and i dont have a single fall out. i havent gotten my lashes done too often so i didnt know what style i really wanted, but my lash tech eileen was really good at hearing me out and helping me achieve the look i was looking for. the only thing bad thing is that when she was doing my right eye, i think the lower lash eye pad/tape was placed so my eye was slightly open and some glue got in my eye. it burned so bad and I was trying to tell her but i think she didnt understand what i was saying as well. she adjusted the eye pad but didnt get to rinse out my eye or anything. if you have sensitive eyes just be careful and let the lash tech know! and also when you first open your eyes it can burn really bad, so maybe use the fan before you open it excuse how crazy i look in the pick but you can see my right eye is blood shot on the bottom where the glue got in read more
