Jettastone - Prior to glass installation. Thank goodness we added Jettastone to the outside of the knee wall instead of painted drywall.

As the night went on, the price was whittled down to a price that was too high for us. That meeting ended abruptly due to their last moment, extremely unprofessional tactics. Another company had reasonable pricing and a nice salesman, but the product looked and felt like it was plastic instead of stone. At this point we met Adam Nye at the Jettastone office and showroom. After reviewing their options and receiving a quote that was in line with our budget, we decided to go with Jettastone to replace our shower. Donny, Tim, and Carson, were all part of the demolition and installation of our new shower. They were extremely polite, quiet and very easy to talk to when I had questions or just wanted to check out their progress. When I made a late moment decision to add Jettastone material to the outside of the knee wall instead of me just painting drywall (thank goodness we made that decision!), it made for a bit more extra work, but they had no issues whatsoever. Any details that I was concerned with were addressed immediately (because they were well aware prior to me asking). We were informed in advance as to when they would be coming to our home, and they were always on time. Adam popped in from time to time to ensure we were happy with the product and progress, and we always were. For the price we were quoted, the look and quality of their product, and the services involved, we are very happy with the results we received from the Jettastone team! We strongly recommend to others looking to remodel to check out multiple companies but definitely check out Jettastone prior to making your decision. Bob & Molly

He will promise the world but cannot deliver. His work is rushed and pour quality. Gil would consistently ignore text and emails. He leaves his voicemail full so you cannot leave a message. I asked Gil for a schedule on multiple occasions he would not provide. Most of the time I didn't know when he was going to show up or even when a task would be completed. This made it impossible to plan other activities that he wasn't providing. He does have competitive pricing but it's only because he cuts corners. Gil claimed he was a tile expert and will give you the best tile job in town and asks for $35/SF for install at shower and bath! Then he hires a person for $3/SF who doesn't know how to install tile properly. I paid BKB $7K as a deposit for two bathrooms with a total of 235SF. It took his tile guy 2 weeks to install 150SF and then BKB disappeared for 2 weeks without any communication. After many delays subpar performances I finally fired BKB at the beginning of the year. I have had to hire a tile subcontractor who actually knows how to install tile properly. It's cost me another $7K to remove and fix all the issues created by BKB. I could write a book on all the bad work that was installed, however I will just let you know that you should resist the appeal of low prices and the sweat talk of "I will take care of you"! He will take care of making sure your wallet is empty. If you do business with BKB make sure everything is in writing and detailed the way you want it exactly. Gil owes us the $5K for the flooring deposit we gave back in September of 2024 for flooring he never installed. I requested this refund two weeks ago. If I don't receive a refund soon I will be taking him to small claims courts and reporting him to the local sheriff's department. There are many other contract issues I will have to go after. My recommendation would be to avoid this business at all costs!

P&L Kitchens -- Avoid at all costs !!! The Worst !!! I…read moreactually trusted Pietro to renovate my kitchen while I was up in NY. What followed was a series of 1,000 screw ups -it was almost as though he never did a kitchen before -- I was his first? But that was not the case. He couldn't figure out how to install the range/oven without it protruding 5" out in to the room beyond the counter tops. He ordered wrong size cabinets and tried to make them fit. He broke 3 pieces of granite transporting it from Leesburg to the Villages, the cabinet doors extend too far and hit walls, he never tested the Bosch dishwasher -- when I went to turn it on it has electricity but no water. It was installed by pushing it in place with the hose kinked so badly a plumber had to come back to straighten the hose to get water. He oversaw a plumber who set the piping under the sink so far out that nothing fit in that cabinet,. Another plumber had to cut it all out and shorten it to make room. When I asked him to come back and fix some of these problems I got tons of excuses -- but always a Christian platitude -- "Have a blessed day". I said keep his blessings and act like a responsible businessman. Don't just mouth the words. I have not heard from him in months -- I left numerous messages asking for a bit of time to fix some of the more blatant issues but no response. I recently had a carpenter come and fix the moldings and paint them. I also have a floor guy looking to rip up what he did and replace it. (It constantly click when you walk on it). In summary -- I am so disappointed -- all I can say is don't make the same mistake I did.

He tried to make us take a defective quartz slab because his crew cut the piece wrong and didn't want to lose out on the price of the material. I had to insist on a replacement Had to wait an additional month even though the manufacture acknowledged the replacement material was in stock and available for pickup. Terrible communication with the office personnel. Robert would never pick up the phone when we asked to speak with him or return a call. He ignored us when we showed up in person. If he was owed money you can be sure he would answer. Promised to show up in the am, waited all day only to have them cancel. That happened on several occasions. His employees were okay and considerate, but would only shake there heads when problems arose and were not surprised with my disgust of the lack of problem solving. Robert was only concerned about finishing up the job, moving on and looking for the next big payday. Never once did he call us up to apologize for the delays, missed calls and countless mistakes made. Whats more, he never once stepped foot in my home to see the project at any point. Even at the completion. He is a terrible business man who needs to take lessons on how to run a business. The reviews I've read have all the same issues I experienced. If anyone uses him, be prepared for nothing but disappointment. BEWARE!

It was not a large job, but skill & professionalism was important as it required cutting existing cabinetry with precision. We will definitely use Florida Home Improvement Pro's and Eddie for any future work we require.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I managed huge apartment communities for 30 years…read moreand been the project manager on millions of dollars in renovation and maintenance projects. Eddie is a great talker and tells you he can do everything and really lets you believe he can be trusted. I had a full rehab for my house including painting, new flooring, new vanities, all new light fixtures, basically total overhaul. The original bid was $23,900. I have pets so I specifically told Eddie I would be moving into an Airbnb so he could get the house done without having to work around me and I did not want my pets stressed by all the noise and activity. He agreed that the job would be done in 4 weeks. During this time, he decided to accept a bathroom remodel in my neighbors house at the same time. He only works from about 9am to 4pm with a lunch break. He was 2 weeks past the deadline and still was not finished!! He submitted receipts from the hardware store for me to pay that were parts he bought for my neighbors job! He has now charged me over $34,000 for my job that was supposed to cost $24,944. That is a 30% mark up!! The work site was an absolute disaster, they left my house in terrible shape. They sprayed my floors with glue remover and did not protect my furniture (he promised all furniture would be protected and covered) which has now eaten the stain off several pieces of my antique furniture. He took all my books and piled them on my mattress and did not cover my mattress so not only was it exposed to toxic chemicals from the glue remover he used, the mattress was filthy because he never covered it even though he promised he would. He did not wire my ceiling fans correctly so I had to pay an electrician to come and re-wire them. Ge burnt out 1 ceiling fan with his bad wiring and the electrician said it needs to be replaced. He also left screws loose on the bedroom fans so they would eventually fall from the ceiling. He stored all his tools in my garage and left such a mess, I tripped over his cords and hurt myself pretty badly. Even once I moved back in, everyday they would throw trash on the floors inside the house and then leave. Every night I would have to go around cleaning up all their trash. He bills you for items that are not complete and then expects payment even though items are not completed. I bought all the materials and because he was so disorganized, he lost several parts that I had to re- purchase. I have never seen such a messy, disorganized job site in my 30 years of property management where I worked with hundreds of contractors over the years. I could keep going, but I am sure you get the point t. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, WORST DECISION EVER! Total incompetent and can't complete job on time because they only work about 5 to 6 hours a day.

I am still fighting to get my cabinets done properly. I have a cabinet that was broken from day one. The installer promised to fix it and never did. The doors are warped and don't close properly. The light rail is also warped. I contacted the store only to get a run around for months and from one manager to another to another in the Port Orange, FL store. They can't seem to keep managers long enough to see a project through to the end. I tried contacting the owner, to no avail. The company sent out someone to inspect the warped doors and light rails a year plus later. He took pictures and sent them back to one of the managers showing the defects. Finally, after 2 years, the store ordered new doors and light rail but wanted me to pay the new installers to install the product. I should not have to pay for a defective product. The company is blaming the original installers for the warped product. They told me I needed to contact the original installers to install the replacement parts. The company is not standing behind the workers they hired. The company is doing everything in their power to not correct my issues unless I pay additional money. They also ordered the wrong granite countertop. I complained immediately but got nowhere. In addition, they bullnosed the granite countertop in my house without putting up protection for my house. It took me months to clean up all the granite dust. I went to the store countless times, called countless times, only to be brushed off each and every time. This list of issues just goes on and on and on. Now, we are in small claims over the issues. I had to give a least a 1 star, however, I would not give any.
