She also took my email and reached out right then. The downside is the cost is $200 more a month for less than I currently have. Someone stole our catalytic converter and apparently we are the 7th in one month. So if You live here or consider to move here, get a camera for Your car. We have had a friends car stolen from a parking spot by the front office 3 years ago. Our car broken into 2 years ago. Our catalytic converter stolen this year. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING. THERES ONE SECURITY GUARD DOING ALL HE CAN AS A SINGULAR HUMAN. PLEASE BE DECENT AND SAY SOMETHING IF YOU SEE SOMETHING STRANGE. And then to add, it's amazing to work really hard, in life and at work. No one's knows anyones struggles yet here we are finding HERION COATED TINFOIL around our apartment. Do not rent here! Stay clear! Our rent went up $500 for the 2 years we were there! The apartments are trash! Our entire kitchen cabinet fell off the damn well in one piece on my cousin!! All maintenance did was screw them back up, didn't put up new cabinets nor did they even fix the broken ones! Used the same damn screws even tho they admitted they were put up with wrong screws which is why they fell off the wall. Constant leak in the master bathroom ceiling in the shower. Didn't fix leak just kept repainting the ceiling and blaming it on the upstairs neighbors. Leak in kitchen ceiling nothing was done blamed on the upstairs, kitchen counters have water damaged from that, never fixed. Refrigerator stopped working and maintenance man threatened to give me an older one to replace it since we kept complaining. Dishwasher broke and was told we would get a new one instead they put old parts in the one we had and it stopped working again after a week. Dog poop all over including sidewalks. Puppy pad is never cleaned and smells. Bedroom vents don't work properly and each time we were told they were fine. Rooms are super hot all year around. I would rent down the street for nicer apartments and cheaper! These aren't worth what they are asking! And remodeled my ass! First I will admit this is my fault. I am a 67 yr old disabled Veteran and single father. I sold my home in north las Vegas and moved into summerhill pointe. I told the management repeatedly I was only stay until end of lease in February because my 14 yr old son was going to be done with his last cancer treatment after over 3 yrs. I finally got his last treatment scheduled and his surgery to remove chest port by his heart. During all the time for scheduling his appointments, my appointments, and moving his 9 yr old brother from one school to another - I forgot about the 60 day termination letter, the secretaries are nice but it is not their job to jog my memory. I had the new house payments scheduled to start in march when my 6 month lease ended. Now management at summerhill pointe is telling me I either pay and stay, or pay and leave. I now am looking at having to pay rent here and pay my mortgage. All this is my fault, I wish managment would reconsider. Moving a household cross country is expensive and now I may not be able take all of our things read more

In tears of how awful this place customer service has been. We Applied at the beginning of January.Our leasing agent stopped answering emails. When I would call, they said she was on vacation. When I waited until they said she would be back they said she then got sick. I asked multiple times for someone else to take our lease so we could recieve the paperwork. Many times miscommunication with the staff. Was told we would finally get our lease one day, didn't get it. Didn't get an apology. Called next day and they finally sent it over. Then recieved no welcome information email or call. The night before they asked what our electric account was when we had never been informed who to set it up with. We were also told the night before we needed a money order to move in. No information was relayed to us. Then we finally move in, one wall is covered in black smudged handprints when they said a leasing agent walked through and Okayed this apartment. We go straight to the office and they tell us next morning 8am a painter would come. We specicially got an extended hotel checkout the next morning as we have a cat and wanted the paint fumes to have time to leave. At 11am my fiance goes to check the apt and no painter ever came. We were met with more excuses. I asked multiple times for a manager and the only response was they were not on property today and a note would be left on the desk. They said the painter could come at 1pm and I asked what am I supposed to do with the cat and she gave no response other than they're doing what they can. They have done absolutely nothing to be helpful. Looks like "an owner" responds to reviews but there's no way to contact them!!!! And when I ask for a manager they cannot provide me with contact information. read more

Robbed and moved out and 3-4 months later (after not contacting me once) I get a call from collections about damages that never existed while I lived there. To the people in the office. I had to write a review since there's so much people complaining about this apartment complex. I've been living here going on 2 years. Never Had any issues with maintenance if my apartment need maintenance. They quick and get the job done. Yes the apartment is a bit old but what do you expect it's been built in 1988. When I moved in to my apartment, it was freshly painted and the carpet was new. It could smell the new paint and the new carpet smell. Love all the office workers. Especially Jennifer, She is so nice and always smiling. The apartment has no breed restrictions far as dogs. Nowadays apartment complex don't accept dogs no heavier then 25 lbs and don't accept pitbulls. I have 2 pitbulls dogs and the apartment does have doggy poop bag dispensers for owners to pick up after their dogs all over the apartment complex and yes you do have your lazy dog owners that don't pick up after their dog, but the apartment maintenance does do their best to clean up the grounds. Where you gonna find an apartment complex at the Lakes/Summerlin that accepts Pitbull dogs or large breed dogs? I have awesome neighbors. Very quiet. Again love these apartment complex I have zero complaints. Don't listen to the negative people here. You have to see it for yourself. Yes rents a little bit high but everything going up in Vegas. I lived here from January, 2019 through July, 2020, and really enjoyed my experience. I believe the rent was reasonable, location is great, and the neighborhood is safe. The pool area's are always clean, landscaping is always cared for, office staff has always been very friendly/helpful, and maintenance was always around to help immediately. There is assigned, covered parking, so you never had to struggle to find a spot. Some of the units are a little out-dated, which is the only drawback, which is not a big deal at all. read more

My sister has an American pit bull and has been living on the east side the last four years because of her dog (and budget let's be honest) I searched high and low to find a decent place for her to live all over Las Vegas! I'm so glad I found something in Summerlin! The location is awesome! Close to everything you could want. Complex is clean and looks well taken care of from the outside. I spoke to a few people as a drove by and they seem happy to live there all in the same situation with a pitbull. The pet (non refundable) deposit is $400. The pet rent is $25 per month. There is also a $200 administration fee. A one bedroom is 700 sq ft and runs $855. Kind of high for a small place but location and no breed restrictions kind of make it worth it. To hold the apartment it is $100 and goes towards your total move in. I am taking a tour of the inside on Monday and will update with pictures. So far, the girls in the office are friendly and helpful! read more

It is not worth the price AT ALL even with not having breed restrictions it's not worth it. My family had to move us in because I was in the hospital. Didn't see the apartment before. Got out of hospital and apartment was awful smelling of smoke. The walls in bedroom had an orange coloring bleeding through the paint. Our newborn had breathing issues with the smell (he was fine in our previous place) so I tried everything, taking out the air filter they supplied (which was disgusting like they never even changed it), tried expensive air filters (made for smoke particles), washing walls, air purifiers, diffusers, baking soda and vacuuming carpets daily, carpet cleaning every other day and the smell never would go away (water from carpet cleaner kept coming up black every single time). Constantly complaining to management and maintenance and they eventually (after dragging their feet) came out and cleaned air ducts which said would help and when we told them it didn't they sent someone out to see if they could smell it. They sent out a man who previously smoked so he's used to the damn smell and he went back and said he smelled nothing. The smell was so bad it made everything we had smell like smoke. For example diaper bag, clothes, etc. even at my son's two month appointment the pediatrician could smell the smoke coming off the diaper bag. And with how bad his breathing was the doctor said he couldn't stay in this apartment unless the issue was fixed. Even after telling management this they did NOTHING. So we had to break the lease. Before I moved in I read a lot of reviews and most were bad. Most people complained about the dogs and dog poop. I must say their are a lot of dogs and there is indeed a lot of dog poop. That's not the complex's fault though. It's the lazy owners. The complex does their best to maintain a clean and tidy environment outside. The apartments are old but I'm a vintage loving person so it's right up my alley. Bathroom smelled like sewer for 2 weeks and I thought my boys were peeing on the floor. That's how bad it was. It went away though. Also, there is some rust in the pipes because every once in a while my water is orange for a few days. Plumbing is kind of crappy but not horrible.. Washer and dryer work wonderful. My neighbors aren't ghetto or too loud or obnoxious. I feel safe especially since my apartment faces Sahara. Someone would have to be beyond bold to break and enter. Cameras everywhere across the street lol. Office staff always have great attitudes. I think some people want their butts kissed and can't handle it when someone talks to them without submitting. Just because someone is at work doesn't mean they have to bow down. Also, maintainence gets to any issue I have within a day. Mostly the same day though.. The rent is waaaaay over priced for old units. The office is complete incompetent. They truly know nothing about their own property. Just another scam when the entire country is struggling. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, I was forced into finding a new place to live with unemployment still not paying out and being furloughed, I was in a tough spot. On top of this, I have a rescue pit bull/terrier mix and no apartment was willing to work with me. I stumbled across Summerhill pointe apartments as a no breed restrictions property, when I called I believe April 29th and was connected with "shanti" at the office. I was so beat down that I decided to be blunt and transparent of my situation and outright filled her in. Fast forward to May 1st , less than two days later... and what I assume is a massive collection of emails on their end with countless concerns and questions. I get the keys and sign my lease May 1st. Mind you, 100% of this process was done remotely until picking up my keys when the office had a perfect set up to maintain distance and still help people find their new home and safe place. I've been in Las Vegas 33 years and have dealt with a lot of different people in the city from tourists to landlords and everything in between. Working with the people here takes the headache out of renting. Happy to be here. read more

I live in this apartment complex since October of 2018 and let me just send all of you reading this a HUGE warning not to even look this way and consider this trash apartment complex. I want to start off with the individuals in the leasing office who deserve an award for there fine manipulation skills and blatant ability to LIE without feeling any remorse. The office manager Joy actually enjoys dodging customers who visit the office. She's conviently always with someone in her office, but don't worry if you call, SHELL BE SURE TO HANG UP ON YOU. Let's get started on the receptionist Irena who can barely speak English but is in charge of handling residents issues. And my personal favorite Jennifer who should be fired for how much she lies. She has lied several times about things such as it's easy to transfer units (I was in a 2 bedroom wanting to downgrade only to find out there was a very HEFTY fee she never mentioned). Even as things as simple as parking they have a forward parking rule only, she told me it's ok to back up into my parking space to unload groceries but as soon as I do it a black paul blart security guard happily slapped a violation sticker on my drivers side window with the quickness. I called with concerns only to hear from Jennifer's mouth herself that she "never told me we could back up" Oh so now I'm confused? Before handing you guys my move in money I was sure to question everything but it's no use crossing all of your T's and dotting your I's if this fraudulent apartment complex LIES to get you to move in. I only choose this place because they claim to be be pet friendly and no breed restrictions, however if you are ok with paying extra fees and ridiculous charges, having Jennifer, Joy and Irene all incompetent in the leasing office lying to you and saying whatever you need to hear to sign the lease then this is the place for you. But I would highly recommend you look elsewhere. To sum up summerhille pointe apartments it is nothing but dirty dinghy apartments, a bunch of lying money hungry snakes in the leasing office and sketchy, suspicious maintenance men they want to let in your homes when your not home probably to steal from your home or gossip with the snakes in the leasing office. But all over avoid looking this way for apartments, I would suggest communities in the area as it is a fantastic location for me but nowhere near this complex unless you want stress and disrespect from these money hungry liars. Check out the pictures to see for yourself, if you like coming home to 12 police cars surrounding your home and yellow caution tape everywhere this is the place for you. 2 months into my lease my literal next door neighbor was BLUDGEONED TO DEATH with a baseball bat!! They are not thorough at all with who they let rent the place and LIE constantly! overall try to dodge this disaster if you can. Not the worst place you'll live but definitely not the best. They are relatively flexible with move in. If you're in a pinch they aren't too bad at helping out. We had just moved here and didn't have proof of income yet so they let us pay 3 months in advance with good credit. Staff is friendly and the maintenance is relatively quick. The apartments are very outdated and WAY OVER PRICED. I don't really see how they get away with it other than maybe the location? They charge a $400 fee for pets. Yes a fee. Not refundable. And a $35 per month pet rent. So $400 plus $35 per dog. The pet spa they offer is nice but other tenants don't clean up after themselves. The rest of the complex offers next to nothing's for pets. There's a small (emphasis on small) dog park but it's usually dirty - not really through fault of the complex but more of the tenants. No grass at all other than a few patches of turf. We had two neighbors that were both pretty sketchy and loud but the last neighbors we had were nice and quiet. Cops are there I wouldn't say "often" but definitely more often than you would like to see cops around the place you live. I think maintenance tries hard to keep everything dog poop free but it's hard when almost everyone has a dog. People aren't to keen to cleaning up after their pets. I think it would help if they had more disposable bins around the complex as well as more bags. read more

My boyfriend and I have been living here for almost a year now, and my A/C is out, YET AGAIN. This marks the 8th or 9th time this has happened just this summer, and Summerhill Pointe refuses to actually fix the problem. Every time we go to notify them it's still broken, they act like it's the first time we ever went in there.....Sent a tech out yesterday afternoon to "work on the AC." after already inspecting it 7 times prior, they finally found a coolant leak....You don't say.... Instead of fixing the problem, they gave us a weak little portable AC that can't even cool our living room down and completely turned off our HVAC at like 4pm yesterday when it was 109F out. When we went to bed last night at 11pm, it was 88F in our apartment. We spent the night soaked in sweat, and barely slept. Went to work this morning under the premise that it would be fixed this morning. I called the office around 10am to get an update, and they notified me that the repairs were complete, and the AC was working. Welp, I just got home and my apartment is almost 100 DEGREES!!!! 92F to be exact. We have a dog. That's cruel to subject him to this amount of heat. I'm so annoyed and frustrated. Unacceptable. My boyfriend and I are looking to move this summer and have been looking for places that will best accommodate us. We have a pitbull and so it has been difficult to find somewhere that is welcoming of all breeds. So far, every interaction we have had with the employees has been fantastic! They are nice, welcoming, and very helpful. They sent me all of the information I needed and were happy to give us a tour of their property even though it was raining the day we went. They have dog runs on the property as well as a new pet spa that is great for bathing your pups! There is plenty of parking and the outside appearance of the buildings and landscaping was clean and very well kept. We are looking forward to moving forward with the application process and hopefully renting from them in the near future! read more

So this complex has 2 sides: the quiet one bedroom side and the "family side"... If you live on the quiet side, it's fantastic. However, if you live on the east side of the complex where all the three bedrooms are located, it's ghetto. After dark is plain scary. The easternmost entrance usually has anywhere from 5-20 youths hanging in front of it, drinking and smoking weed. They do drug deals out there all day but it gets worse in the evening. At all times of day and night, you can hear everything from fighting, yelling and screaming, to bass thumping your windows. Many times I've been woken up at 2 am by our wonderful neighbors across the parking lot with their music so loud it is literally shaking my building. I've personally ask them to turn it down(they dont), complained to the office about it (say "we can't control our tenants at that time of night), and finally, at my wits end, called the police. I didn't even get the address fully out and the dispacher said "oh Summerhill again"... Yea that's how often lvmpd is called to come out here. I moved in February of 2013 and have called the police 14 times since moving in-noise issues, people waiving guns in front of my window, domestic violence, and vandalism. The only reason I gave the 2nd star is because the layout of the apartment itself is nice. Aside from paper thin walls, the master and 2 bedrooms are huge, the garden tub in the master is awesome, and the patio is wonderful, when you can use it without idiots bothering you. The office was great during our once a month rent deposits, except for when I had questions regarding the end of my lease. In trying to get my required 60 day notice to them, one of the office staff members who doesn't speak a lick of English, gave me wrong information and couldn't answer other questions I had. I have lived here in these apartments for 2 years with my wife. They have 3 pools and the people who work in the office are very helpful. Very nice area and quiet. If you have dogs and can't find anywhere to go come here they allow evey type of dog and all sizes. Great for any couple trying to get out on there own not to expensive and only 15 minutes from the strip. Very nice read more

Security sucks and the people in the office are even worse. rent is high and everything inside the apartments are run down. Bad ac units and bad insulation so electric bills are 2 or 3 times higher then comparable size apartments. not worth it even with big dogs. There are other places that don't have breed restrictions. SCAMMERS! BEWARE! Lots of companies are taking advantage of vulnerable people during Covid. This is one of those companies. Would give 0 stars if possible. They told us based off our credit scores we would get accepted. We explained that we are in an urgent situation and need to find a home as soon as possible as I am 7 months pregnant and our lease is up very soon (Covid has made it very hard to find a new home), we then were told we would get a call back in 1-2 days to ask for more information so we can get accepted. which never happened. And then we got an email saying that their scoring system is different than what a credit score is and due to my husbands student loans It put our combined number at 440 something??? Lower than both of our credit numbers. This is insane and feels like a total scam. Be careful. I demanded my money back but no surprise they said no. read more

Don't know what everybody's beef with this place is. A good majority of the people here are nice. The leasing office staff are friendly and will usually try to bend over backwards to help you. The maintenance staff will always say hi if they see you walk by and will repair even the most serious repairs quickly. When the upstairs water heater burst and flooded my apartment the staff in maintenance AND leasing dept. worried about me & kept asking if everything was okay. Of course you have those people who don't pick up after their dogs. My boyfriend's truck got keyed when he was over. And of course you have those residents that just look for trouble but that could be with any apartment and they are not to blame for they do not screen people for their personalities unfortunately. read more

It is now Sunday, 2 Friday's ago we put in a request to fix two tiles that are falling out of the wall, that we had mentioned were missing grout when we first moved in 2 months ago, they come on this Thursday, a week after the request, we come home to this gaping hole in the wall, haven't seen them since, I haven't been able to give my 2 year old a bath, had to give him a shower where he cried the whole time, when we call the office plenty of excuses of oh there were emergencies oh the person working on it is off today, they said the person would be here at 10 to fix this shit, it is now going on 1230 on a Sunday and lo and behold no one here, don't move into this place they never fix anything the right way, they use recycled things from other apartments to fix things, this place isn't worth the money , we continually find something new that's wrong, on top of this fucking Hole in the wall, we just found mold in the ceiling next to the ac filter Wish we could get out of this place already and it's only been 2 months! read more
