When we discovered that we needed a larger water buffalo, they quickly and efficiently changed our contract. They guided us on our needs, and they were friendly the entire time. Why not 5 stars if they were so great? It might actually have to do with the nature of our project. Their pump needed a lot of continual fixing. However, I think that we probably should have used more industrial strength equipment, as opposed to a standard water buffalo with pump. Other archaeologists have informed me that they often have several spare pumps on site due to their continuous, daily, all-day use. Considering, their pump may have actually worked pretty well. Definitely call these guys if you need a water buffalo. They offer a wide variety, are extremely flexible, and really offer great service.

I could not obtain an ETA for restored service. I went to the PUD web sight and there was no information. Thurston County PUD did not provide any alerts, by email, text or phone. This level of service is unacceptable. I could not find any information online or news. Now on Christmas Day I had to warn my neighbors, who had guest, meals to cook, showers to take so they can prepare for travel. I received a voicemail two days ago for Pacific Disposal informing me about service changes due to the Holiday. That is an example of minimal effort, to provide great service. Thurston County PUD, IS TERRIBLE. I wish I could provide less than 1 star.

I called them in the morning and they had it resolved by the time I got back from work. Yesterday we had a sewer backup at Northlake Lutheran on the sewer connection in the street. Once again Northshore came out within 20 minutes and assessed the problem. They started work on the issue within 1 hour. Early afternoon they had the blockage removed and service restored. I wish I could give more started because these guys just great.

My water usage usually accounts for slightly under 1/3 of the actual cost, so the bulk of the bill goes to maintenance. I feel the water bills are on the high side, however they are relatively consistent month to month. Paying the bill has been troublesome for the last few months as the city has started using a new invoicing system. My last invoice arrived late forcing the city to postpone the due date. If you need bill assistance, I would recommend sending an email or leaving a voicemail rather than waiting on the line if you call. The staff does a good job of getting back to you the same day which I appreciate.
