Great place to transition. Excellent management and no nonsense ownership. I highly recommend this sober living above the others.

I'm a Treehouse alumni, and I'm giving this place four out of five stars…read more Not because it fell short, but because I've never been to treatment before. So I don't have comparisons. And because a five-star review would feel curated for performance instead of written in truth. The truth is... Treehouse is an experience I will never forget. It is also not for everyone. I didn't come to Treehouse looking for recovery. I came because I was running out of time. By the time I arrived, the damage was already real. My body was failing. My mind was loud. My spirit was thin. I wasn't carrying hope, I was carrying consequences. Medical. Relational. Moral. I didn't believe I deserved another chance. I wasn't even sure I could survive one. Treehouse didn't ask me to believe. They asked me to stay. The early days weren't inspiring. They were brutal. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I collapsed. I shook. I hallucinated. Every morning felt like a resurrection. Every night felt like a funeral. And people I didn't know yet showed up anyway, quietly, practically, without speeches or slogans. This place doesn't perform care. It practices it. Sobriety here isn't treated like the finish line. It's the entry fee. The work is honesty. On paper, out loud, and in how you respond when you're exposed. Language you once hid behind doesn't survive here. I came in believing survival was enough. I learned here that responsibility is the goal. Brotherhood isn't sentimental. It's earned. Men who will call you out without casting you out. Men who don't rescue you, but don't let you disappear either. Somewhere in that pressure, I stopped hiding. I started standing. My body came back before my confidence did. One breath. One step. One honest effort when quitting would've been easier. Discipline replaced chaos. The lies I told myself didn't survive consistency. The body doesn't lie. It also doesn't rebuild without truth. Treehouse didn't erase my past. They taught me how to carry it without letting it poison what comes next. I don't live perfectly now. I live aligned. I know my values. I know my patterns. I know what steadies me and what costs me. I show up differently. To work, my body, other people, and myself. If you're looking for comfort, this may not be the place. If you're looking for truth, structure, and a program that will ask more of you than you think you can give, and stay with you while you give it, this place matters. I know, because I applied the work.

On top of all this, she gets delirium and was so combative at her last SNF (which was a horrible experience) she ended up back in the ER with a flail chest that also nearly killed her. Needless to say I was very concerned about another SNF experience. The thing about Rehab and SNF is it's a step down and you need to be patient and understand there is reduced staff from a hospital setting- something my mother isn't the best at. I anticipated a constant battle with both of them. I was wrong. Her care was exceptional. Her physical and medical needs were addressed in a timely fashion. Her rehab was equally impressive and her room was clean every time I visited. The nutritionists did a great job with her dietary needs. Within days I found myself worrying less and when it came time to discharge home I found myself considering paying for extra days. A SNF is a difficult environment to work in but the staff were always friendly and kept me well informed. They really deserve more praise than they get. I highly recommend Victoria.

March 2, 2017 I don't even know where to start. First, I…read moremust say that Clean Path has been my son's and families' saving grace. After years of battling addition, in and out of programs and sober living, we found Clean Path. They have an "all hands-on deck" approach. From Day 1, they made me feel welcome and understood where I was coming from as a mother of an addict. They treated me and my son with respect & real concern. My son was at a place where he wanted to get help. We made the call and he was in within 24 hours. From checking him in to Detox to him working thru the long-term program then into sober living, Clean Path has been there every step of the way for both my son and me. My son relapsed twice while in the program (which I learned is part of recovery). As Clean Path promises, they were there immediately for my son to readmit him to get the help he wanted and deserved. At Clean Path, my son and I have built everlasting relationships with the staff. We have personal cell phone numbers that we can call at any time if need be. This is a FIRST for me and I cannot say enough about the one on one care my son and myself have received from Lilly, the Detox Intake Coordinator. She works around the clock when a person is in a crisis mode and wants to get help. She knows the pain the addicts and families go through and she treated my son like her own. I pray blessings to her every day. Clean Path treat patients with compassion and lets them work things out at their own pace with amazing doctors and support people. They give custom care based on an individual's needs and emotional state. They want to know the whole person to work on what is causing the behavior. They will work with your insurance and financial situation. The owner/CEO is very hands on and knows every case in his program and will do whatever he can to keep his patients in the program if they want and need it. I can go on and on. I'm tearing up as I write this because I remember my tears of sadness on day one. I was so hopeless and defeated, as was my son. Today, I have tears of happiness because my son has is in recovery and living his life! He's working his program, has a job that he loves, traveling (in Ukraine for work as I type this), owns his own car and driving after 3 years without driving. He's just living his life while at Clean Path's sober living! I can honestly say I haven't really seen my son for over 4 years up until recently. His old self is back (a smarter version I must say) he enjoys his life. He has gone through so much and learned so much and come out a better person. As we all know, addicts need to be ready to change their lives. With Clean Path's support, I feel like my son can beat this beast! I LOVE YOU SON and thank you Clean Path!! I don't normally write reviews like this, but I wanted to share with others the positive experience…read moreI had with my daughter at Balboa. From the first call, the admissions team was highly responsive, flexible, caring and supportive. They went out of their way to get my daughter into the most suitable detox program quickly. Her case manager Ashley, was a perfect fit. Ashley was able to walk the fine line of being both loving and supportive yet tough. Although my daughter relapsed, as heroin addicts will do, when she called wanting to go back to Balboa, the staff worked after hours to get her into detox and back into the program. Not only is the program itself strong, but the staff really care about the clients and their families.

Just my two cents…read more.... I had a very close family member stay at Balboa for 90 days earlier this year. Did she get 90 days sober yes and some good counseling yes, although the staff nor their website is entirely truthful. That alone is not OK with me, don't B.S. people. When you first call in you talk to intake counselor/sales person was very nice, although she leads you to believe she has a lot more interaction with the girls than she really does. I was under the impression she saw them every week, not so in my family member's case. Then there are the "counselors' - aka recovering addicts themselves. That alone is not a bad thing but they really need more time sober and serious training. The case manager my relative had was a joke, total complete control freak that treated the family as the enemy. They seem to forget this is very stressful for the family as well. They also tell you that there will be pilates, trips to the museum, and other activities to help them have fun in a normal life setting. What they don't tell you is that the reality is you fork over additional funds for their activities which don't usually end up happening instead they get a crappy bike cruiser. Not quite what they show on their website. I don't have a problem with this not being summer camp they are there to get sober not have "fun" my problem is that they should just be honest and not make it out to be something it is not. Expect your friend or family member to be hounded constantly about how they need to stay there and do sober living in that area. We all didn't ship our family members off for good, we sent them to get better. I don't know what there agenda is here but again some honesty upfront would have been appreciated. We were in a major time crunch and didn't have long to choose a facility, although I really would have liked some honest reviews ahead of time to know exactly what the deal was. If your relative is older than 25 you may consider choosing another program just for that reason alone, the older gals end up being the baby sitters for the young pups. Please do your homework before signing up your family member. Ask EVERY question you can imagine and get everything in writing.

Life-Changing Recovery at Yellowstone…read more Yellowstone Recovery has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. When I arrived, I was broken, lost, and unsure. I came in as a scholarship girl, but from the very beginning, I was treated with the same love, respect, and opportunity as everyone else. They didn't see me as less than--they saw my potential, even when I couldn't see it myself. One of the most impactful parts of my journey was learning what true recovery looks like. Honey played a huge role in that by teaching me the fundamentals: getting a sponsor, working the steps, and giving back what was so freely given to me. These weren't just words or suggestions--they were a blueprint for a new way of life, one that would not only save me but allow me to help others along the way. Yellowstone didn't just help me get sober; they helped me build a life worth living. Today, I have a family, both in my personal life and in the fellowship of AA. I volunteer, I have a sponsor, and I sponsor others, all because of the foundation that was laid for me here. This program didn't just save my life--it gave me a purpose. For anyone who is struggling and feels like there's no way out, I can say with all my heart that recovery is possible. Yellowstone Recovery gave me the tools, the support, and the love I needed to find my way, and for that, I will be forever grateful. Honestly, Humbly, Grateful, Tazia Marie
