I noticed the 10/25 year warranty on the deck paint can, which said to take it to the place you bought it. Summit labels with my name and date were on the cans. So I called Summit with all the information and talked to Roberto. He said bring the cans to the store and he would take care of me. I drove down and met Roberto who said that he is managing the place now. I showed him the cans with summit labels with my name and dates and photos of the peeling deck. He refused to talk about the warranty. He just wanted to sell me more deck paint saying that I should try an oil based paint. Frustrating experience. A real change from the previous owner and his wife. Wasted an hour and gas.

This review refers to how Appliance Factory falsely advertises prices online. I committed to purchase an appliance (oven) online. With information given, and 'successful order' emails sent to me, I had thought the purchase was final. Was not asked for payment which I thought was odd, but since I was picking this up at the store, figured that is when/where I needed to pay. Later, my wife gets a call saying the oven is not available. When I follow up, the excuse is that they made an error on the price. Should they not honor this price? I later called a 'supervisor', JonathanFfriedman whom claimed to be the district manager. Very rude, said he couldn't do anything about this, so I asked to speak with someone higher whom had the clout to make a decision. Mr. Friedman became very belligerent, stating HE was the top dog. Then he abruptly hung up on me. This is how they deal with a customer trying to give this company another chance after multiple mistakes. I realized why they did not ask for payment up front. If I could have paid online we would have a contract. So I am assuming this is their common practice for backing out of their word. Very dishonorable. In my opinion, a reputable company would have honored the stated price (also recorded with computer screenshots). Then, if it was their listing error, go back and fix the issue. This would only cost them whatever their markup is on this one appliance, and show good faith. Instead their different departments chose to point fingers at other departments, giving me the run around ending up with a Mr. Jonathan Friedman, whom I guess owns the company ("no one is higher than me"). Hopefully, the negative reviews I leave for this company will cost them more than their savings on one oven's profit.

I waited over a month to post this review because I wanted to see if I could keep it alive. So far so good it's growing great and I get asked about it by everyone who come over! If you are new to bonsai don't be afraid they are very friendly and took about 45 minutes going over every type of bonsai and what they like/need for care. The associate assured me that the plant I was purchasing was healthy and was recently fertilized and treated for pests with systemic granules (I even took a photo of the pesticide they claimed to use.). Had the bonsai at home for 5 days now and watered it yesterday. This morning, a cloud of flying insects were emerging from the soil and swarming the bonsai. No other plants in the house, so no other possible culprits. So disappointed in this situation. Unhappy with the infested bonsai. Feels like I was mislead by the associate. Overall poor experience.
