There are 2 sections and both are huge. The small dog side has a nice big metal bench, a poop bag station with a trash receptacle and a couple fire hydrants which my little loved. There's 3 obstacles in a small agility area. No one was there so we went on the other side, the big dog area. This one is much larger. It was a sunny day but I can see if it's pouring rain that it would get a little muddy, but really not so bad. The park was clean and in a nice area not far from 410. No dog poop on the ground. On the outside of the fence there's a playground and 2 picnic benches. Also a port a potty. I can't wait to bring them back & so glad I found this gem here on Yelp!!

Located in Auburn sort of by Lake Tapps, this park was super easy to get to and find parking. I was looking for a new park to explore and saw this. It's not huge but what I like about it is the connection the trail provides to other parks. The trail runs along the White River and offers both paved and dirt paths so pick your flavor. There is also a decent playground for the little ones and a dog park for the doggos to romp around at, they have separate sections for big and smaller dogs too. The path goes through trees to shield you from the rainy days and provides a nice break from the sun too. Not much bad to say about here, it's worth checking out!

One of the perks of living in the neighborhood is the Beaver Lake Dog Park…read more It is fully fenced and has large-dog and small-dog separate areas. The large dog park is thickly covered in wood chips in the open areas, and the back 1/3 side is heavily shaded by trees and easily walkable for those hot full sun days and for good 'texture'. If you have one of those ball throw tools, you're not going to run out of distance with your best throw. The small dog side is slightly smaller and features a gravel/dirt and grass field. There are some passages into a small stand of trees/bushes. Doggie water fountains and pooper scooper bags available in each section. There are well established wooded trails to either side which lead to the lakefront section of the park: about a half mile round trip. The people are friendly and dog conflicts rare. (Personal hint: if you have a troublesome dog, put a muzzle on them before taking them out in public or to any park: the dog really won't mind. You can always remove it). On-site parking is good except for the rare little league tournaments, as the 3 ballfields and well-appointed playground share the park/parking. There's even street overflow parking. (I saw one review of a water-borne illness: that review is over 10 years old and there's no regular standing water in the dog park for years)

It was kind of a gloomy day, so fish weren't biting as often. About 2 hours later, we had caught 3 Trouts each. Getting the next 2 took a while longer, as I caught mine an hour and a half later to get my limit of 5. Dunno what factors caused the fish not to bite that regularly, but it was definitely a very slow day/evening fishing on the shore. Caught a couple of big ones, though. Nice sized fish...

I've been to Lake Wilderness many times over the years for family get togethers, and a graduation…read moreparty brought me here again yesterday! The space here is huge and there's lots to see and do. There's an area with a playground for kids which is camp themed, and there's also different types of sport courts. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained as well. There's also covered areas that you can rent which have basic grills that you can use for stuff like hotdogs and burgers. The water always seems pretty clean. I haven't swam in it but my siblings and kids have and it always seems fine. They also have boat rentals here which are really cool, and there's a few different types that you can rent. It's a little over $20 an hour but I think it's worth it for sure. It's a great lake and I'm sure we'll be back quite a few times this summer!
