I ended up getting my frames at the Mequon location because this one was closed on 12/30 (and I wanted to use my insurance) due to Omricon. While the frame selection was smaller at Mequon, the staff was very helpful and I found a pair. They delivered the glasses to this location. There was a mixup in the lab and they returned an empty frame so it took longer than it should have.

They have state of the art equipment (the digital photographs of our eyes are incredible!) and a large selection of eyeglass frames and contacts. I tell all my friends and family about Brookfield Vision. One of our family members had an eye emergency that could have led to a complete loss of vision. Dr. Varner worked her in, evaluated her and referred her on - he saved her vision. I have complete confidence and trust in their care. Amazing place!

On our last visit, she thought outside of the box and gave us an option (and hope!) that no one else has ever mentioned. Since my daughter's vision is "bad" and her contact prescription strength is maxed out (specialty contacts), she can add glasses to the mix to offset the need for stronger vision. What this means is instead of her "coke bottle" lenses, they would be much thinner and normal looking since she would use them in conjunction with her contacts. To me....GENUIS!!! This opened up a whole new lever of eyeglass choices for my teen girl since she is limited with having thicker/heavier lenses. I took my sister there for an eye exam on July 20th, 2020 and we STILL do not have her glasses in hand! We never got ONE phone call from them explaining the delay, instead we had to call them three different times! They told us the first pair got lost in the mail. (Really???) I called them AGAIN today only to find out they had arrived FIVE DAYS AGO, but NOBODY bothered to call us! Meanwhile we had to share my one pair of glasses for FIFTY ONE DAYS which is how long it took to eventually them!!! NEVER EVER would I recommend this place!

I think their frame prices are fair and their selection is great. When I inquired about prescription sun glasses, they said that they are expensive so I should consider Maui Jim sunglasses with readers instead, to save a few bucks. (I didn't even know they existed). I can stop by the office when they are open and drop off my glasses (even if they are sometimes in pieces), and they are fixed (or put back together) in a jiffy.
