Dr Abbassi is the man! Patient, kind, informed and completely transparent and upfront. I didnt wear my retainer after college.....for years i would stare in the mirror in horror as my teeth shifted. Im now almost 30 and Dr Abbassi told me about all of my options. I have severe crowding in my lower teeth and i really wanted minimal IPR. He worked with me and my hard schedule. I can't believe I am actually writing a positive review for a dentist . I have always been terrified of going to dentists but dr. Abbassi really changed that for me. It wasn't only the pain that gave me anxiety for going to dentist but it was also the fact that once your on that chair they all tend to just treat you like a kid, do their work and give u a bill at the end . I hate that feeling of being treated like an infant. When my son's tooth broke and the pain was unbearable, Dr Abbassi treated him on an emergency basis before office hours. He worked quickly and was very comforting. My son left with a big smile. It was an enormous relief. Dr. Abbassi followed up in a few days with a quick check up to ensure the repair was perfect, and it was. He also called a week later to see how my son was doing. That was a nice personal touch. He is very friendly, accommodating and helpful, making you feel like family. His office is pristine. He has brand new equipment with cutting edge technology, including big screen high definition images enabling him to show you exactly what needs to be done. He takes the time to explain all his procedures so that you understand what's involved. His receptionist is also a pleasure to deal with. I was recently recommended by a friend of mine to see this Dentist for major dental work as my original dentist has retired and I was not happy with the new insurance referred dentist due to long wait, poor job and excessive cost. I was also concerned to make a long trip to see a new dentist but took my friend advice and made the appointment and finally made the trip all the way to Tarzana to see this Dentist. I was greatly surprised to see that he was already waiting and greeted me pleasantly and with great respect. He really cared and appreciated I made the long trip. I rarely review or leave feedback for a Doctor or leave positive feedback for any service I receive as I rarely do . But in this case in all honesty I felt necessary as token of appreciation to write this Doctor a positive feedback so others can experience the same. He did a great job, was courteous, professional, detailed, no wait time and fair and very affordable. What mostly impressed me about this Dentist is that he was detailed oriented and completed what is necessary and required and did not waste time. He knew I am coming far so he dedicated his time to me, made me very comfortable so I do not have to keep going back and forth. After the visit the front desk offered me freshly brewed coffee and some refreshment to relax before I leave due to long trip. I believe I have found a good solid dentist I can truly rely, trust and feel comfortable with. When I make a call I am confident I can visit him and do not have to go back and forth wait long time in lobby and there are no hidden cost or surprise, delay.
