From our sweet server to the robo serve cart our visit here was fantastic! Having just relocated from Hawaii we honestly went in skeptical that there would be at the very least "good" sushi. Boy were we fully surprised. My Vegas roll was nothing short of perfection. My husband ordered from the Vietnamese cuisine and absolutely loved his Bun Combo bowl. For appetizers we enjoyed the fried egg rolls and the miso soup. Which to be honest again I am super picky about. The flavor here was top notch. I enjoyed my meal here. I have a weakness for yakisoba, but it's a difficult dish to make well. Sumo's version was fresh, but bland. Luckily there were several sauces on the table including a delicious homemade teriyaki that made the noodles sing. Also, the miso soup was excellent. Sumo Grill is pretty good. It has amazing food, cool ambiance, and decent service. But last time I went, it was PACKED. There were people signing waiting lists just to get in! It was an amazing delight. It's a casual dining experience but the food is amazing. We had the shrimp spring rolls and monkey balls for appetizers, both were generous fresh and wonderful. Then we shared the 911 roll and the crazy roll, there were just the 2 of us for a late lunch. Both rolls were spot on and delicious, also very fresh. We had the hot ginger tea with our meal and loved it. The 911 was a bit spicy and the crazy roll was a very pleasant mix of varying flavors. We enjoyed them both and the whole meal with pleasure. This was at 2pm Sunday and there were a constant stream of other people coming to enjoy the food so they seem to have a loyal following. Michele and I both agree, we Will be back. We are looking to enjoy the generous bowls of Pho later when it's cold outside, it looked so delicious. I and Michele were very pleased and we thank you for such a wonderful experience. My sister recommended this place and we have eaten here a handful of times, it has always been great! We love the food! And we will keep going back! What I didn't like was that the waitress we had this past time when asking for milk for my 3-year-old gave me a disgusting-looking facial expression, not understanding her expression, I asked her "So you don't have milk?" And still with that same expression said no. She didn't have to react with such disgust, she also gave a weird attitude when asking to remove the Jalapeños from my kid's side dishes when they ordered pho. I thought she was going to give us a fresh plate but didn't. We love this place and maybe she was having a bad day but it won't stop us from going back and enjoy this delicious food. Sumo used to have great service, but it's been a while since I've felt welcome here. This time, it was terrible. I came in, and the sign said, "Seat yourself," so I did. I sat down at a table, and no one came by or acknowledged that I was there. I didn't mind at first because I saw the waiter rushing from table to table, but he still had not looked over at me, even though he passed around my table. Eventually, he came over and asked what I wanted to drink and brought it over, then he walked away without taking any food order. He helped another new table in the corner and took their order. I waited another 5 minutes, which felt like forever. I got up and told him that I'll pay for the drinks and I'm leaving. I'd give a lower rating, but the food is delicious there. The pho soup is amazing, and they know their stuff in the kitchen. The sushi chef is very kind, and he makes such tasty sushi dishes. I love eating at this place, and they are normally very pleasant. But this time around, I just didn't feel it. The restaurant is nice, though. They have a wide range of tables, and the lunch hour (12-2pm) is super busy, so if you come around this time, expect to be waitlisted. Also, the main entrance is on the street side, even though they have a front door (that's only used for "emergency." I put quotations on that because the staff uses it regularly. Parking is not good, but it's in a shopping center, so I'd park near the center, not by the street. Getting back on the street is also bad since it's near the main intersection, so be careful on the way out. Other than that. Good luck with service, once you get help the food is good. read more

Ordered our drinks and spring rolls right away. As soon as our drinks and appetizers arrived we ordered our meal. We waited 30-45 minutes for our meal. Nothing was brought to us. We asked the waitress about our order. They DID NOT submit our order. The waitress said "It's busy sorry I forgot about you guys." There was a table of 3 children (clearly impatient from waiting so long for their meal), and one adult with crutches. We were sitting directly in front of the front counter. Not sure how you forget a noticeable group. Came into town to visit family. Never have I experienced something like this. Nor do I leave reviews. Decided to drop by sumo for the pho. Of course being it a to go order I'm sure the sit down service is different. The pho was good. I had the brisket and rare beef. There was plenty of toppings to go in the soup but I think next time I will order extra noodles. The yakisoba had a different taste but then again I just ordered the veggie yakisoba. We also tried a tofu spring roll the peanut sauce was good and of course a spring roll is meant to lighter than most dishes.we also had the rice vermicelli bowl and it was good.Overall it's was good but considering it was dinner the portions were smaller( felt like lunch) I just expected more for the price. I would go back and try a different dish and possibly done in. I'm sure it would be a different experience than take out. I think when you experience these dishes in a bigger town or city you have a feel for their competition to be the best. read more

Amazing food! Had a brief moment when we thought we were back in Orlando having freshly prepared sushi! We had the Super Dragon Roll that had the biggest buttery pieces of eel we've ever eaten and the Udon Soup (seafood) that honestly deserved to be slurped but alas, I was being too self conscience. What a wonderful experience! This is a great, family owned and operated business, and I'm so glad I tried it in the first week. The staff was friendly, and up to the challenges posed by my large group. Even with dessert, we were in and out within an hour. I've never seen a restaurant in the Four Corners this "together" within the first week of opening, and I expect it will only get better! The food is amazing! I ordered the bento box, and it had great portions, with a good variety. The tempura veggies were crisp and flavorful, and the teriyaki chicken was delightful.
