The jet ski goes up to 50mph and it's just smooth sailing and the be amongst bigger boats is exhilarating. If you're not scared of the ocean, you will have a great time, just make sure you're always aware of your surroundings!

However, what made the overall experience poor was the customer service from both the receptionist and the guide, especially the guide. The guide had a very snarky attitude toward my group and another group. His explanation of how to operate the jet ski felt rushed, and when my friend asked a question, he responded rudely and acted like the answer should have been obvious. We simply asked what would happen if the jet ski flipped, since he mentioned that it was a possibility. His response was, "There are instructions on the bottom, don't let them sink." Not to mention he wore a hood the entire time, barely looked up at us, and had his back turned to us for basically the entirety of the 5 min introduction. I get that the talk is repetitive and I don't expect anything grand, but simple eye contact and a little bit of care in it would go a long way. Considering this was my first time on a jet ski, it would have been better to receive a response with more care, urgency, and clear safety guidance, especially when discussing the possibility of flipping a heavy machine in the middle of the bay. Although the views were beautiful and the ride itself was enjoyable I feel like that's to be expected, this is not an experience I would want to return to because of the poor quality of customer service and lack of care from the staff.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. At the check-in booth, Wyatt gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel like we were the top priority, even though he was juggling at least five other parties in line trying to rent for the day. He was genuinely stoked for us to be there, which instantly set the tone for an amazing experience. When we got to the dock, Davin was exactly how he was over the phone, and gave us clear, easy-to-understand instructions, he checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and made the entire experience completely stress-free from start to finish. Davin and Wyatt are the definition of 100/10 customer service- professional, kind, and an absolute rockstars. We live in San Diego and will absolutely be going out with SD Adventures again.
